The engineers field of work is fundamentally and rapidly changing due to technological developments and the digitization of the world. For the technical business engineer, Statistics is an essential part of his techno-mathematical palette. But questions such as Which method do I need for my problem?, How do I interpret the results? and How do I communicate this to management? are often not answered in the current form of education.In this project we inventory what the young engineer needs in terms of techno-mathematical skills to survive in a high-tech working environment. And how can education meet these techno-mathematical needs.
