Although most of our students think that science and art are separate branches, throughout history, science and art reflected similar values and parallel tools and methods. While studying topics like decorative designs, photography and sound, and architecture, always focusing on the different partners' culture, students will notice that arts and sciences are two important components of the culture of a society and they are closely related. Besides we need to develop new cultural and educational environments in which art and science will work together since the contemporary world needs innovation in an increasingly complex way of thinking. The partnership was based on cultural interaction and exchange, aimed at promoting friendship and tolerance. Students have shared their knowledge with other mates from other countries, improved their English skills and the ability to make a presentation in front of the public. The researches always done in teams have strengthen their ability to cooperate with mates and their mutual friendship and to be aware of the advantages to work in teams. All these contributed to enhance their self-esteem and their sense of belonging to a larger community, Europe. They improved their ICT skills since they prepared their presentations and created images and sound on computers, published their productions on their school's network, on the twinspace, communicated with teachers and mates from their own country or from partner schools via email, Twinspace, Skype, Facebook groups, etc... Partnership included 5 high schools from France, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Turkey. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Art, ICT, technology, Literature and English teachers have worked in an interdisciplinary way all year long and especially during the Project meetings.Students have been hosted exclusively in families, most of the time one per family, and this was a great chance for eveybody because both hosts and guests have learnt a lot from each other and shared food, habits and culture. In proportion, only few students had the opportunity to travel, but thanks to this, many more families and students could participate. Moreover ethnical meals will be organized and eveybody will have the opportunity to taste flavors typical from every town or country. During the meetings, visits to the main cultural heritages, Science and Art walks in the towns, and conferences have been organized.During the meetings, there were working sessions where students from all the countries have participated in the project elaboration, drawn and chosen the logo of the project, presented their final presentations, participated in workshops about the annual topic, built models, always in teams mixing the different nationalities which enabled to measure the work accomplished so far and to reinforce the exchanges between students and with teachers from the different countries. In this way, sudents will gain some skills that they won’t be able to achieve in regular classroom teaching. Videos showing the work accomplished, an electronic booklet, articles ont the schools websites, a model exhibition, the 3 twinspaces are the outcomes of the project.
