The world is changing and the way our new generations must be prepared for a new labour context is changing, or at least it should be changing. But, is the educational system preparing future generations to thrive in this changing landscape? While we can’t predict exactly what our workforce needs will be in the middle of the century, we already know they are changing and will continue to change with the rate of technological advancement. The World Economic Forum has identified there are skills in decline (such as manual dexterity, memory, technology use or management of personal), the WEF sets a new list of growing skills whit a small presence of pure technological ones and predominance of “human” intrapersonal and interpersonal skills:1 analytical thinking and innovation2 Active learning and learning strategies3 Creativity, originality and initiative4 Technology design and programming5 Critical thinking and analysis6 Complex problem solving7 Leadership and social influence8 Emotional intelligence9 Reasoning, problem solving and ideation10 System analysis and evaluationThis inspires a firm proposal of reskilling pathways for human capital in disrupted industries and jobs to migrate to growing jobs or industries, collaborating with a wide range of data providers, to offer a realistic and specific view of reskilling and upskilling opportunities. Here is where FS2022 wants to focus, thinking in a pyramidal structure which will take as departure point VET students with the idea to affect, in a mid-long term, a working population and a better trained society in these new and essential human skills.FS2022 project brings together a partnership of seven partners in six countries, who are cross-sectorial and will combine their collective expertise and new research to prepare and produce 40 audio and video clips to be used as training pills to raise both business and staff understanding of the above skills and to retrain approach and thinking in these key areas. We will achieve this through active partner participation at all points in a programme of two intellectual outputs, five partner meetings, seven Multiplier Events (105 participants) and one train the trainer event (14 participants). The world of work as we know is continually evolving and technological advances have led to a changing skill set required to be successful in the workplace. The long-term results of this project will be to provide materials to assist businesses and individuals prepare and up-skill themselves for the future. Through our dissemination (project website, social media, five newsletters, face to face meetings etc.) and our Sustainability Strategy we will ensure the results have the profile and awareness to be rolled out in both partner and other European countries,
