Good practice exchange on European Migration Policies for the inclusion of young migrants and refugees

Description

"The ""Good practice exchange on European migration policies for the inclusion of young migrants and refugees” (European Migration Policies) project is an exchange of best practices between entities of Greece, Italy and Spain on migratory policies regarding the inclusion of young migrants and refugees. The main objectives of the project were to generate inputs on: (1) know hows, mindset and knowledge on migration policies (in general) on the inclusion of young migrants and refugees (in particular); (2) competencies, methodologies and action frameworks (regarding design, implementation and assessment policies) to successfully respond to the needs of young migrants and refugees; (3) mechanisms and tools to empower young migrants and refugees so they can become active socio-political actors in their communities; and (5) communication strategies (especially regarding visibility, dissemination and impact) to raise awareness of the positive aspects of both migration policies and young migrants and refugees. To this end, the partner entities hold virtual transnational meetings where they were able to analyse, share and exchange knowledge, skills, experiences, mechanisms, resources and strategies on 12 migratory policies regarding the inclusion of young migrants and refugees. In this sense, all the results of the exchange of good practices were systematised in the “European Migration Policies Handbook”. This handbook was disseminated through the official website of the project, ISSUU, social networks and multiplier events with political, educational, social and labour agents. Finally, it is expected that this project has not only contributed to generate inputs on European Migration Policies (in general) in terms of the inclusion of young migrants and refugees (in particular). But also that these inputs can be used by political, educational, social and labour agents (at local, regional, national and European level), so that they can also successfully design, implement and evaluate their own migration policies on the inclusion of young migrants and refugees in Europe."
