Description

"The effects of climate change are already being felt around the world. It is extremely important to raise public awareness of social and climate change issues to prove climate policy is a chance for development rather than a threat. So, our project includes learners, teaching staff and company employees for the activities covered by the project in the form of a set of practices to save resources, reduce energy consumption and waste, use choices that promote sustainable food and mobility. In addition, in our project we assume training of educators and employees of companies to introduce behavioral changes in individual preferences, consumption habits and lifestyles in these people's results. The main goal of the project is to approximate training results in the agricultural industry 24 months. The main goal will be achieved when we achieve the following specific objectives:- increasing the quality and efficiency of vocational education in the agri-food industry in response to current trends,- developing new skills for practicing educators and equipping them with competences and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality educational services and in response to current trends,- raising awareness of environmental problems and climate change issues.Another important aspect is the improvement of the quality of vocational education and training and raising the level of knowledge and skills of educators and people working in vocational education. After September 1, 2019, the school providing vocational education may offer the student preparation for the acquisition of additional professional qualifications in the field of selected professions, additional professional skills or market qualifications functioning in the Integrated Qualifications System. This means that the school may allocate 210 hours of classes for the implementation of compulsory educational classes in class 5, including preparing students to obtain additional skills useful for practicing the profession being taught. In our project, we assume training educators in the field of MODERN PROECOLOGICAL TRENDS IN FOOD LOGISTICS. This topic is absent from the school curriculum of the profession of a farmer technician, and is important from the point of view of knowledge in the subject of high-quality food supply, while at the same time requiring pro-ecological measures. For this reason, a very important ""element"" in education is the person of the teacher, the educator, because it is through his character that it is possible to adapt the learning process to the market demand and respond to trends at least to a minimal degree. If it updates its workshop, knowledge and skills, then it passes it on to students in subsequent years, because students ""go through"" the next stage of education and it is up to the teachers what graduates the school releases to the market. From the above reasons, teachers and entrepreneurs from the agri-food industry, as persons conducting practical forms of youth education are our main focus of interest in the project.During the project, teachers and entrepreneurs (as trainers of vocational subjects) will participate in training in MODERN PROECOLOGICAL TRENDS IN FOOD LOGISTICS, led by an experienced institution from Italy - the country which is the second after Spain, the direction of importing fresh goods (vegetables and fruit) in Poland and Lithuania. During the training, they will learn the results of research and experience on new trends in fresh goods logistics, reduction of losses in food supplies, ideas for pro-ecological activities in supply logistics, meeting the increase in ecological awareness of the society. The above issues regarding the transfer of good practices in fresh goods logistics and the training program are based on the needs of employers. Our project involves the implementation of an action aimed at adapting the learning outcomes to the expectations of employers from the agri-food industry and the changing needs of the labor market by preparing and training teachers in the subject of MODERN PROECOLOGICAL TRENDS IN FOOD LOGISTICS. The adaptation process takes place when teachers have the knowledge, competences and qualifications that reflect the needs of employers. Partnership cooperation in the project will focus on learning methods based on the experience of foreign cooperation (Poland - Lithuania - Italy). As part of the project, a course program will be prepared in the abovementioned topic for teachers of vocational subjects and entrepreneurs."
