New technologies which are at the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution will lead to unseen problems in society and in the business and will require a different approach for solving. This sets new social expectations to the business and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The implications of the Industry 4.0, like employment, replacement of labour force with robots, new occupations and skills demanded by the labour market, remote work and reduction of working hours, will impact significantly CSR in terms of generating social results and productivity improvement. In this light, the preparation of future managers and economists will be of key importance to keep social aims of business in new environment and under new challengesTaking into account this challenge, the project team is aimed to address the following identified needs:- To address the evolution of the CSR and to refresh related university study programs.- To incorporate the changing nature of CSR in the era of the Industry 4.0 into currently provided training within higher education institutions and to stimulate links to various after graduation programmes. The overall objective of the project is to create a training course for students in economy specialties in HEIs on the implications of the Industry 4.0 and nearing challenges to overall performance of enterprises and social impact of business activities. The course will be focused on enhancement of interdisciplinary links, further development of understanding of the attributes of the Industry 4.0 and filling gaps in the preparation of students regarding main fields of chances posed by it.The project has the following specific objectives:- Identification of shortfalls in programs regarding CSR in the Industry 4.0 era.- Selection of training materials, pedagogical approaches and supporting tools;- Creation of the training course and teacher`s manual;- Creation of supporting set.Within the project the following participants across BG, DE, ES and RS will be involved:- Academic staff in HEIs concerned by the topic (at least 80 in total) - Business practitioners and CSR experts (at least 100 in total)- Multipliers in academic institutions and key actors in social economy sector (at least 75 people in total)The project will include the following activities:= Development, piloting and optimization of intellectual outputs:IO1 CSRI4.0 Competence Framework with CurriculumIO2 Training course on the implication of the Industry 4.0 on the CSRIO3 Lecturer`s Manual with support set= Project management, dissemination, quality monitoring and exploitationIn order to produce the planned outputs and to achieve the results, the project team has adopted a methodology consisting of a set of the following approaches:- Building of deliverable-oriented work breakdown structure around the project’s desired outcomes- Selection of proper methods for project management- Using of up-to-date technological tools- Structuring of balanced hierarchy framework of involved actors- Maintaining proper document and reporting system preventing from misunderstanding due to different language levels- Mobilizing of associated partners and partner organisation outside the consortiumOn its completion the project will achieve the following results:- Create solid base for understanding and coping with the reality of internationalization, globalization and digitalization trends in national and world economy.- Provide support by CSR specialists towards strengthening the perspectives of setting social aims to the enterprises and transferring these ideas to the graduates.- Enhance the attractiveness of dealing with social economy and social entrepreneurship in parallel to achievements of mainstream business goals. - Offer a practical supporting tool for university professors working on economy of corporations in order to ameliorate their understanding of the needs for embedding newly appearing traits of the CSR and further development of students` knowledge in order to prepare them for the complexity of the globalizing economy.- Establish multilingual online platform for exchange of knowledge, advice and feedback.- Strengthen the understanding and skills of students in areas such as digitalization, successful employment, active citizenship, social inclusion, equal opportunities and managing of personal change. The potential project longer term benefits will be expressed by:- Raising substantially their expectations and ambitions of further participating in initiatives towards exploring of the CSR in the Industry 4.0 era- Decreasing the number of lectures facing difficulties with dealing with emerging CSR aspects- Improving educational achievements of students by developing ameliorated competences needed in the new economy circumstances- Inspiring the ability to assimilate novel learning matter in an attracting way - Improving the understanding of the changing nature of the CSR
