"The territory of the rural European youth is characterized by high rate of aging population, lack of future prospects, and demotivation caused by social and cultural fragmentation witch makes it very difficult to establish relationships among peers, ensure settlement of the population in this areas and also to ensure job stability.Laboratory of Creative Rural Ideas for ""Youngers"" (RURAL LAB-Y), aims to promote a Digital Platform for collaborative network and exchange of ideas, experiences and good practices among the participants through a live and developing process, research, reflection, analysis and experimentation. RURAL LAB-Y will represent a physical-virtual space where young rural Europeans can show their potential and creativity, and to express their will to create, investigate, innovate; favouring the management of pilot projects of local development in the European rural area.Activities (September 2018 - March 2021):- Face-to-face meetings (11/27/2018, Spain and 29 January 2020, Spain) and virtual meetings (quarterly). 9 workers in the field of youth (1 per entity).- Joint short-term training for staff (9 workers in the field of youth): ""Workshop Creativity and Mentoring"": Field Trip, Debates of ""You to You"", Course of ""Branding and Identity"", ""Innovation and Employment ""and RURAL LAB-Y Instructive Video as a result of Good Practices 14-19 / 10/2019 (Spain)- Joint Mobile of Young people, which includes:- Face-to-face mobility (45 disadvantaged youth and NEETs): ""Workshop Smart Rural Experiences"" (RURAL Conference LAB-Y ""Mobility of European Rural Youth"", The European Rural Territory: An Approach to Current Youth Needs"",""Professional Strategies for Youth Rurales"",""Start Your Business"", ""Exchanging Experiences with Young Entrepreneurs "","" Youth Leadership in Rural Areas""), and Artistic and Cultural Initiatives (Comic Workshop"" Vignettes Beyond Boundaries "", Performance"" Turn yourself around "") 6-20/7/2020 (Portugal).- Virtual Mobility: 225 young people (180 indirect and 45 direct): preparation, monitoring and dissemination of the results of face-te-face mobility (youth contribution for the development of Manuals / tools and resources of Good Practices): Virtual Book ""Exchanging Youth Experiences"" ; Virtual Photo Exhibition ""A Glance at the Rural Past and Present ""; Audio-visual on European Linguistic and Cultural Diversity , Virtual Report of Youth Proposals “Transnational Solutions to Global Problems"", job boards, online Training and Educational Resources ""Enter@-T "", Comic book: ""Chronicle of the Rural Youth"", LAB-Y MAP, Business Ideas Contest ""BE RURAL"" (MAPPING), Community Workshops (Local Fairs in digital format), RURAL LAB-Y Closing Conference ""Youth, Rurality and Transnationality"".Profile: young active students and professionals (including gender balanced participation), disabled people, with knowledge and experience in rural development, heritage, tourism, business, marketing, entrepreneurship, educational technology, R & D, web design, coaching, mentoring ...Methodology: lecture, presentation, brainstorming, feedback, discussion, data analysis, simulations, work groups, observation, visual stimulation, experimentation, tutoring, role plays, surveys, interviews, documentation and debates.Results: improve the skills of young people linguistically, culturally, educationally, professionally and digitally, increase youth participation and social inclusion, strengthen youth leadership, strengthen the organizational and productive capacity of workers in the field of youth, strengthen public youth policies, intensify the awareness of active citizenship. Although, the main result is in itself the genesis of the project itself (Digital Platform RURAL LAB-Y).Expected impact: creating an entrepreneurial culture, enabling a favourable environment, eliminating linguistic, geographical, social and cultural barriers, bringing promoter groups closer to their cultural roots and relationships with their inhabitants, promoting generational exchange, highlighting the role of informal education and not formal, recognize and validate educational and professional competencies and maintain the support network over time through the application of ICT.Benefits: for rural youth, promote personal, social, professional and artistic development (organization, planning, communication, problem solving, training them as Experimental Managers and active citizens in a strong relationship with their rural communities.) For workers in the field of youth, collaborating entities and relevant actors: development of skills such as mentoring / coaching, active collaboration with promoter groups, promotion of social change and creation of a collaborative Digital Network."
