<< Objectives >>The concrete objectives of the CYBER CITIZENS project are to promote educational continuity and civic engagement throughout life, fight fake news with an innovative news platform, promote cultural diversity and living together, raise awareness of journalistic narration and cultural sensitivities vis-à-vis various societal issues, support the digital transition of young people, students, retirees, civil society volunteers by facilitating access to information, democratize media access.<< Implementation >>Optimizing the ZEMUS Search Engine is at the core of the project, as it will promote the set objectives which will be achieved through the updated and state-of-the-art new Zemus engine for easier and more inclusive access to the world's leading news. This new version will be tested and exhibited through the LTTA which will upgrade the trainees' skills in digital methodologies for civil participation and will be disseminated during the series of the CYBER CITIZENS National Workshops.<< Results >>The project will provide an optimal tool for reinvigorating accessibility to news outlets across generations and cultures thus facilitating democratic participation and participatory journalism and advocating for everyone`s right to true and reliable information. It will also improve the participants` and organizations' competence in guiding and advising learners about civic participation and the use of digital platforms.
