"The idea of the project resulted from dynamically developing technologies supporting agriculture and prepared to implement in the near future requirements for modern agriculture, which necessitate the adaptation of management and monitoring processes of agricultural production by future specialists in the field of agricultural production management, which are necessary in such work. After verification of the actual needs of participants and the education market for supporting agricultural production, we confirmed the assumptions from the application regarding the scale of the VET problem in this subject, which allowed to precisely clarified the goals to achieve and act together with the desired results. Establishing a partnership that will be able to meet the specific objectives set was key in the implementation of the project. The main goal of the partnership was to design, develop functionalities, software and create a ready-to-implement educational program integrated into the curriculum, educating in the profession of agricultural technician - specialization in precision farming with elements of geoinformatics. The use of a modern tool, which was an e-learning platform, enabled teachers of the profession and learners to cooperate actively, in practice more effective than conventional, and more expressive and efficient than the traditional use of technology in teaching. The beneficiaries of the project were the following target groups: 1. Three Polish vocational schools educating agricultural technicians, in particular their learners and teachers, 2. 10 Polish agricultural enterprises interested in the practical side of the project, using similar solutions in business practice and production processes; 3. 4 Slovak enterprises interested in the development of the R&D sector in this field and educational and training institutions; 4. 5 Greek enterprises interested in the development of the R&D sector in this area and other educational and training institutions. As part of the project, the following intellectual works were carried out: 1. An e-learning system was designed to teach precise farming techniques and geoinformatics (with on-line current access); 2. Training materials for the e-learning system in the field of precision farming and geoinformatics were developed; 3. A utility model was designed in enterprises conducting agricultural activity with the use of precision farming; 4. An interactive module and technical documentation were prepared, 5. An interactive educational module in teaching in the field of precision farming and geoinformation was implemented. As part of the didactic materials, 27 sets (9 presentations, 9 didactic sets and 9 scenario instructions) were created, consisting of almost 41 thousand words and which are available in 4 languages (Polish, Slovak, Greek, English). In addition, the following project activities were implemented: 5 International Project Meetings, 2 short-term trainings for 20 participants from Poland, 4 dissemination events in Poland, Greece and Slovakia, in which 227 participants took part. The methods of work adopted in the implementation of the project and cooperation undertaken under the strategic partnership in this area included: - task work - aimed at developing teaching materials for the interactive educational module - conceptual work - aimed at developing the concept of assumptions and functionality of the IT module; developing solutions - building an IT system ""AGRO e-learning"" with simultaneous verification of the assumptions and functionalities of the system, - implementation phase - providing an internet platform for entities providing vocational education. The result of work and project activities is a uniform model of the e-learning system playing the most important role in achieving the project's goal. The applied solutions have made the teaching programs more attractive, they have improved the work of didactic units, improved the quality of education, motivated to learn and work, and supported human capital which goes to enterprises using similar solutions in economic practice and agricultural production processes. Potential long-term benefits of our project are the possibility of further cooperation and exchange of experience, knowledge and good practices. It is also learning practical solutions in education, improving professional qualifications, establishing contacts and developing or transferring innovations."
