It is necessary for new technology to take its place in the education, following the existing traditional forms. That is why our project aimed to improve the student’s abilities, skills and knowledge by within the area of new technology and through that to improve the quality of education. By using these methods we were able to help our students to become acquainted with an array of traditional celebrations, historical events, popular folklore characters, natural sites, inheritance and traditions in Europe in an attractive and informal way. By using this technologies we introduced a new model of education where knowledge is gained through personal experience. The students improved their technical skills on programming, as well as attention to detail, presentational skills, teamwork, and that boosted their self-esteem and creativity. All “E-Treasure - My Lovely Europe” partners have been united by the idea and the objectives of the project and the opportunities it offers for our students. They could improve foreign languages skills, gained knowledge about cultures and lifestyle of European countries and excelled skills in multimedia production through an innovative way of cross-cultural cooperation. They could work in multicultural groups at the same time having in mind that Europe is one civilization built by different nations, united under the same dome and that every nation adds their grains of the culture to the common Europe and built their fortune and treasures. Pupils of every partnering school could develop their skills in ICT. With frequent, regular correspondence, the pupils demonstrated improved communication skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing letters and emails. They also learnt how to make presentations using digital photography, digital videos, animations, games, presentations and mobile apps. What is more, they learnt how to plan pieces for ordinary film-making, use video cameras and edit their work for a particular audience. They created games by using different computer languages.On-going discussions with the staff let us to identify strengths and weaknesses in the project, as well as its organization, enabled us to consider and implement improvements.
