<< Objectives >>Nature is widely recognised as vital to older people’s wellbeing and health. However, frail older people spend little time outdoors due to different barriers, such as reduced mobility.FLOWER enhances green skills of frail older people and their informal caregivers to connect with nature in a meaningful way. This will support their social inclusion, wellbeing, and health, while raising awareness on the importance of nature conservation and sustainability<< Implementation >>FLOWER will use existing research and best practices to develop a set of blended learning resources. We involve over 300 frail older people and informal caregivers through methods of co-design, ensuring the results are in line with their wishes. We will bring the learning resources into practice by organizing nature workshops for frail older people in 4 countries. Based on these nature workshops we will develop guidelines to support replicability by care and senior organisations across the EU.<< Results >>The result will be an online toolkit with video and audio, and downloadable offline materials for frail older people and their caregivers. This will enhance nature-related competences of frail older people and their informal carers. This promotes their social inclusion and well-being as well as an increased awareness on sustainability. Our promotion activities support the replicability of the results across Europe. In the future, this will lead to happier and healthier older people in the EU.
