Diverse set of activities will be deployed including: workshops with professors for development of digital OER materials and curricular interventions, bootcamps and virtual/hybrid exchanges for students and broad dissemination of the activities.<< Results >>The project will produce a White Paper with situational mapping and recommendations for enhancing the teaching and learning about circular economy. It will also develop a digital repository of OER materials related to circular economy as core outcome for future use and development, enhance academia-industry linkages and University linkages (MoU) in the region and organize activities with students to develop circular economy mindset.

If so, the relation between man and his environment, the idea of place and context should be re-examined, which implies a change in the scale or an expansion of the traditional approaches of architectural education.ENABLE is in line with Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities from the Sustainable Development Goals. According to the 2018 Review of SDGs implementation it is necessary to integrate urbanization into diverse spheres of the national development planning. Given its implications for overall growth and transformation, more efforts need to be undertaken to increase awareness to ensure that urbanization is integrated into national development planning from a strategic and multisectoral perspective. The project objective begins from the aspiration for creating a networked academic environment with an intention to challenge the inherited inert high-education models in a south-east European context to an interdisciplinary and transnational educational network with diverse methods already developed in different European high education environments. This will result with a proposed methodology for sustainable cities using multidisciplinary approach tested in a form of a networked syllabus for the course Studio implemented on the three project partners high educational institutions. This strategic approach will take in consideration the field of sustainable city planning education through the topics of urban and economic growth, social inclusiveness, history, innovation, heritage and tourism. With its complex nature the city of Prilep, North Macedonia is chosen as a study case of this project in order to confront it with a collaborative international educational network. The process contains two (2) years of international and interdisciplinary collaboration between entities from North Macedonia together with other EU based entities (Austria, Italy and Czech Republic) which will complete this international consortium of higher education institutions and private research institutes. Faculties at the three higher education institutions (School of Architecture and Design at UACS, Institute of Spatial Planning at TU Wien and Department of Architecture and Territory at Mediterranean University Reggio di Calabria) will engage with the syllabus in a form of a regular or a selective courses in their master programs complemented by the practical experience transmitted by two other partner institutes (IECE Skopje and Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation Brno). The project timeline will be structured through three (3) main activities representing the objectives of the project, developed in time frame of 24 months. I. Research and development of syllabus / MethodologyThe development of the syllabus for course Studio will include research activities and meetings between the international consortiums. On this meetings the structured methodology will be developed and will eventually lead us to a formation of an international networked syllabus. As an addition to the approach and methodology precise semester schedule will be discuss in order to synchronize this possible overlap. As a tool for further information exchange interactive platform will be set up to strengthen the collaboration beyond the duration of this specific project.II. Course studios implementation / SyllabusThe three architectural faculties (SAD at UACS, Institute of Spatial Planning at TU Wien and dArTe at Reggio di Calabria) within their existing curriculum can easily transform their regular or elective studio subject in the last semester of the master program in the networked course studio. Each course will have the city of Prilep as a study case and from the diverse theories students will develop strategies for city development. In order to get familiar with the context, study trip will be organized at the beginning of the semester with all involved parties.III. Synthesis of the course production / Concept for sustainable cities using multidisciplinary approachSyllabus implementation will contribute to the international workshop where semester outcome will be elaborated and re-evaluated in the presence of all parties involved. This production of strategies for city development will provide fundamental strategic guidelines that will be used as a basis in further development of sustainable cities.Synthesis of the courses outcome will be presented at the final international conference and further embodied in a form of publication will consider the diversity of understanding the path towards sustainable cities development.Development of methodology for syllabus for the course Studio is the main project outcome which can generate concepts for sustainable cities using multidisciplinary approach applicable in various circumstances with similar characteristics.
