BEVERAGES is a marketing project developed by the German Walter-Eucken-Berufskolleg located in Düsseldorf and the Romanian Liceul Teoretic Henri Coanda, based in Craiova. The initial idea behind this project was to provide our students with the opportunity to employ and expand their business knowledge and skills in a more realistic environment and at the same time to improve their professional English thereby preparing them for an increasingly international labour market. The project focuses on skills such as critical thinking, problem solving competencies, self-initiative as well as communication and cooperation skills to foster entrepreneurial skills. The involved students also expand their IT skills by collecting, interpreting, analyzing and visualizing data with the help of digital tools. Due to the transnational context the students are encouraged to actively employ their English skills and to develop their intercultural competence. The German partner, the Walter-Eucken-Berufskolleg, is a vocational school located in Düsseldorf with round about 3000 students visiting the school on a full or part time basis. The 650 full-time students are either preparing for the “Fachhochschulreife” qualifying for admission to certain universities and polytechnics (GNVQ-level) or for the “Abitur”, the German university entrance qualifications (A levels). The students participating in the project attend the same class with the “Höhere Handelsschule” (GNVQ-level), are between 16 and 18 years of age and have had little opportunity so far to employ their English skills outside the classroom. The Romanian partner, Liceul Teoretic Henri Coanda in Craiova, is a school specializing in the field of humanities. It is attended by about 1000 pupils from primary to high school level. The participating students, aged between 16 and 17, take part in a voluntary course on entrepreneurship.During two bi-national meetings in Romania and Germany the students – stepping into the roles of young entrepreneurs - prepared for the introduction of a non-alcoholic beverage onto the market of their partner country. Supported by their partner students they collected and analysed relevant information on the foreign target market and planned their product, e.g. with the help of the 4 P’s. In a last step they presented their product and communication concept to an external jury of experts. The necessary preparatory work was carried out either within the framework of a voluntary extra-curricular course (Henri Coanda) or as an integral part of the “standard” curriculum in the form of mandatory lessons or project days for the whole class (Walter-Eucken). The lessons/project days focused on e.g. marketing basics, on how to conduct market research, on presentation skills and business manners. The main impact of the project can be described as follows: the participating students have developed an increased awareness for entrepreneurial thinking, are much more confident and motivated to speak English, have thereby improved their language skills and have learned to both deal with and to appreciate cultural differences. From the schools’ perspective the developed materials can be used and further developed in other learning and teaching contexts. Overall, the project has contributed to the schools’ profiles as modern, student-oriented, European schools and has the potential to motivate other members of the staff to initiate and take part in European projects.

Some families have a poor financial status. It is difficult to address the educational needs of these students using traditional methods. We will encourage students to connect basic skills to everyday life. We can see our students have technological skills but these do not help them learn and develop personally. Moreover, they do not know their native historic and cultural background and mutual past which they share with other European Union countries.AIMS-Using an innovative student-centered technology which will enable students to develop the inner abilities they were born with;-Developing the IT skills our students possess in order to learn and discover about the social and cultural environment;-Nurturing empathy towards the immigrants, towards the people/ adults they are going to get into contact along the project;-Stopping discrimination sometimes the immigrant population is subjected to;-Encouraging team work with a European dimension;-Creating material aids/ documents by using ICTTHE NUMBER AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PARTICIPANTSThe number of the students directly involved in the project is 48, although most of the designed activities are open to all students in both schools. The Romanian students speak Spanish very well as “Jean Louis Calderon” high school is specialized in humanities and teaching languages. The teachers involved in this partnership have a large experience in administrating international projects, in using ICT in teaching and managing extra school activities.ACTIVITIES DESCRIPTIONThey go into four big topics:1. Migration. The research of the issue. Creating questionaires for the interviews. Field work: interviews with immigrants, their families and those families returned from Spain to Romania. Recording the interviews. Creating a documentary.2. Information and Communication Technology. Organizing seminars to teach students the technique of audio and video design and editing. Creating documentaries and audio guides. Seminars about web design and web applications with the content administrators. Accessing social networks and ""cloud” posting.Applying all of this knowledge throughout the project.3. Theatre. Writing a script for a play on the migration topic. Rehearsals. Romanian-Spanish performance in both countries. Recording the rehearsals and the shows.4. Culture and history. Writing studies about the Romanian and Andalusian culture. Researches on the Romanian and Andalusian history and culture, laying the stress on mutual topics. Creating audio guides containing all of these topics. Visits to the most symbolic locations where the Romanian culture manifests itself in both countries using the audio guides created by the students.WORK METHODSThe students will be in the centre of the whole process, being involved in all the steps of the project, enhancing their personal abilities. We are going to develop concrete projects that will need the collaboration of all students and teachers alike, that will help us accomplish the varied aims of our project, and utilize the abilities we will have aquired and the use of ICT.We will use theatre and play as a means of expressing the sensitivity of our students in order to help them develop creativity in them when they tell about their lessons from real life contact. We are going to stimulate personal development and social intelligence. Through empathy, by living together in the partner’s families and direct contact with the migration phenomenon.RESULTS AND IMPACTWe believe a permanent evaluation of the project is of utmot importance. It is going to be made in three ways: permanent contact among the teachers involved in the project; student meetings; external evaluation done by the teachers and students who don’t work in the project. The written press, radio and television, will be invited to the play performance based on the migration topic, to the presentation of the audio guides made by the students about Andalusia and Romania in the Roman era, and of the documentaries about migration created by the students. This material will be accessible to the whole educational community on the project web page, on the YouTube and ""cloud”.LONG TERM BENEFITSOur project offers a model that can be later used by any school. Secondly, the papers can be used during classes as reference information about migration."

The recycled waste from WEEE constitutes a great possibility that our territory can seize from an environmental and social point of view, with the possibility of future job opportunities. The Municipality of San Giuseppe Vesuviano, where ISIS Einaudi-Giordano is located, has been experiencing serious environmental problems for years. The project idea was born from the awareness that our students, as citizens, should not be considered only as bearers of needs but also of skills to be made available to the collective interest, starting a synergistic relationship with the local administration and with the territory in general so far weak. The project was coherent with the aims of the Institute which reflect the Lisbon 2020 lines, promoting the spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship, active citizenship, encouraging creativity and innovation. improving linguistic and technological skills, the quality and effectiveness of education and training. It lasted two years and involved only two European schools: Italy, Romania. These two establishments are secondary schools with a general and technological vocation. Their social and demographic contexts are very similar. Student and professional integration there encounter identical problems, linked to rurality, the disadvantaged social context and a changing labour market.Nevertheless, in our discussions we were able to identify very complementary guidance and integration policies, which we wish to put at the service of our public and our staff.Based on the priorities of the European programme: the fight against early school leaving and the problems encountered by disadvantaged pupils in guidance and integration, we have identified the following objectives:Priority Objective 1: To develop different pathways to guidance and integration, drawing on the experience of European partners.Priority objective 2: To build up one's guidance and integration pathway as a vector of success, including at school.Secondary objective 1: Develop citizenship and cultural skills on the basis of a European pathway for the future.Secondary objective No 2: Develop language skills specific to cultural exchanges, which are essential and rich... Even more so for pupils with special needs.Twenty French and Romanian participants will be selected from among our students in the final year in France and the third year in Romania. Priority will be given to students from disadvantaged social backgrounds and a mix of school profiles will be made, with a view to inclusion. The motivation of each one must be based on the will to build a different, multicultural orientation and integration path, open to Europe and the company. Four French and Romanian accompanying persons, educational staff attached to the follow-up of orientation and integration are also selected. Finally, eight French and Romanian staff will co-construct guidance and integration in a logic of mutualisation of skills. Coming from the educational teams, these personnel will be fed by the project and will animate it in order to propose at the end of the project a paper and virtual report on the theme of guidance and integration in different European pathways. The proposed activities are:- Exchange of good practices of the participating staff on pedagogical paths related to the guidance and integration of people with special needs or disadvantaged groups.- Pedagogical immersion of staff within the network of establishments- Vocational and language teaching activities- Intervention of local partners on the entrepreneurial dimension of guidance and integration- Internship in a company in the partner country (in pairs Franco/Romanian)- University or technical/vocational training immersion- School-based language training, guidance and integration activities in partner institutionsSeven highlights punctuate the project1. The hanging, selection of candidates and the foundation of the project workspace2. Joint training events for short-term staff: possible educational pathways, guidance and integration in Europe.3. Joint distance exchange event: entrepreneurship. - Orientation in France and Romania, Interculturality and European citizenship.4. Mobility support workshops, dare to take the plunge, student or professional integration workshops, linguistic support and preparation.5. Short-term pupil group exchanges in Romania: integration and guidance in Europe, different paths.6. Joint training events for short-term staff: Educational paths in relation to guidance and integration, an exchange of practices in the workplace and in the workplace, and the exchange of information and experience.7. Short-term student group exchanges Guidance and integration in France, another possible route Dare EuropeThe expected results are for the student participants on a chosen and positive orientation, with a reinforcement of linguistic, social and cultural competences, in a context of professional integration. For the staff, the construction of an edited and virtual paperback report, taking into consideration different paths will be finalised to open up other perspectives related to the theme. Thus, a wide dissemination of the programme is envisaged. A networking of the establishments of our local basins may allow to widen the orientation and the insertion in the continuity of the project. The submission of the project on the Etwinning platform is also a call for future partners. The willingness to publish a report on guidance and integration in Europe based on an N+2 project with other partners is a long-term objective."
