<< Objectives >>The project objectives are:- improving the capacity of archivists, librarians, restorers, collectors and collections owners of so-called home movie archives how to implement low-cost digitization technology;- improving the capacity of the target group for maintenance of analogue and digital movie materials;- improving the knowledge and skills of the target group how to present attractively the digitized artefacts;<< Implementation >>The project includes:- Developing Competence Framework and Units of Learning Outcomes related to digitization of so-called home movie formats - motion picture films (8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm) and videotapes (VHS, SVHS, Betamax);- Developing open and flexible training materials incorporated in the Learning Management System (LMS);- Creation of five short educational movies, one longer movie and a guide;- Training and Multiplier activities; - Dissemination activities;<< Results >>- Methodology for low-cost digitization of consumer-level movie formats;- Competence Framework and elaboration of Units of Learning Outcomes;- LMS with Units of Learning Outcomes and additional multimedia resources related to low cost digitization of home films (8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm) and consumer-level videotapes (VHS, SVHS, Betamax);- Five training videos on focus topics related to low cost digitization and one video for attractive digital data presentation;- Training and Multiplier events
