Both microplastics and macroplastics have their devastating effects on biodiversity and in the long run, the resources we need to feed a growing world population. The challenges are real. We all recognize the problem, but the solutions are scarce. While plastic production is booming, recycling is hard and inefficient. Few attempts at collecting plastic from the oceans are successful and, in any case, extremely far from sufficient. We simply need more STEM-based entrepreneurship from young people in this field, but teachers across the EU are not well equipped to give the right tools and boost the courage of their students to be willing to enter the task of entrepreneurship - and certainly not in this vial field. We can see it in the numbers of new entrepreneurs across the EU: they are plummeting at an alarming rate. This Erasmus+ bid aims at bringing students from widely separate world regions together to understand the underlying factors behind the Plastic Ocean and to come up with entrepreneurial solutions to real local and global problems. This will result in a compilation of streamlined teaching materials, ready to use and easy to implement. From Tahiti in the Pacific Ocean to Valencia in the south, via Greece to Copenhagen the problems are diverse and complex and not least epochally important. We will learn from each other, not only regarding plastic pollution but also regarding the teaching of young students through best practice.Spanning two years the project will take a total of around 100 students and teachers on an academic adventure to the partner schools involved and each time we will focus on a new aspect of plastic pollution. At the same time the students and teachers will gain cultural knowledge and expand their social and professional network.<< Objectives >>There are three main objectives of this project.1. To conceptualize, create and streamline PBL teaching materials for STEM-based entrepreneurship for you adults in upper secondary schools.2. To have students learn about the scientific aspects of plastic pollution and to help them have the courage to enter international entrepreneurship in this essential field.3. To have our organisations develop the tools and gain the know-how to teach in this complex problem while at the same time become better at cooperating across borders.<< Implementation >>We will make 4 short term visits to the 4 partners in the project where students will receive in-depth STEM-based knowledge and analytical skills related to plastic pollution (2 activities) and participate in workshops with entrepreneurship-training making real alternatives to plastic products (2 activities). We will keep the project on track with three project meetings and we will have follow-up activities where teaching materials are being created and tested.<< Results >>The project will result in a compilation of streamlined PBL and STEM-based teaching materials in the field of entrepreneurship related to plastic pollution, ready to use and easy to implement. It will also boost the confidence of our particular students to create environmentally focused start-ups and to enhance the skills of the involved teachers and the international capabilities of the school organisations.

Students are the engine on which the European community is built and the knowledge-based economy is developing The main reason for this project has come from a need of our school of care for a few years, that is, we have a high percentage of unmotivated students to learn. We are a technological high school, weare not always pupils with the smallest grades, but once they get into our system they are not progressing, they see high school life as a punishment to stay in classes where it is important to promote them not to learn. As a result of the previous school year, we had 75% students with an average of 5-5,99; 15% undergraduates, 3% dropout and 7% students with unfinished situation, over 45 students/parteners with over 40 absences unmotivated and low results to graduation at exams. So if we motivate pupils to learn, we can easily guide them to a career and create generations of active students on the labor market.Specific objectivesFor students1. Increase in self-esteem to 80% of students participating in learning activity in Croatia by the end of March 20202. Develop to 80% of students participating in the Turkish learning activity of positive attitude towards school education by the end of October 20203. Developing to 80% of students participating in the learning process in Spain, the ability to be aware of their own learning process on the basis of awareness of the usefulness of theory in a practical context by the end of February 20214. Developing to 80% of learners in Portugal's learning activity, career guidance capability based on awareness of the importance of study qualification by the end of May 20215. Developing to 80% of the number of pupils participating in the learning activities of the equal education chance feeling in the partner countries, by the end of the project. For teachers:6- develop the skill to integrate in the didactic and extracurricular process of the methodologies, tools used by the partners (learned from each other) according to the project theme, to 90% of the number of teachers participating in each training activity by the end of itDirect target group -120 teachers and students+6 reservesThe transnational activities dedicated to teacher training will involve 2 teachers/partner x 5 states x 4 transnational activities = 40 teachers+3 Reserves/partner 4 pupils /5 partner/4 transnational activity =80 pupils will participate in the transnational activities devoted to pupils. Students will be aged between 11 and 19.+3 Reserves /partner.We have 28 participants with economic obstacles, geographical obstacles, immigrants with adaptation problems. We provided 4 short-term exchanges for pupils and 5 short training courses for teachers It is necessary to carry out the 9 activities in order to reach the objectives in which the pupils aredirectly targeted. The objectives can be achieved through learning-pupils' activities and mutual teacher education and applying their innovative methods in all partner schools Activities will consist of workshops with exchange of best practices and direct interaction, didactic, cultural, moral, linguistic, scientific. All will be continued at home, adapted, combined with online joint workResultsMotivating pupils for school and professional successDeveloping team spirit of students, improving self-confidenceTeachers will enrich their methodology used in class / extracurricular to motivate students to get better school outcomesExhibition of graffitiOnline tests for planning the moral, social and professional routeMagazine and Calendar Market Guerrilla PygmalionMagazine and calendar Origoclass-Men sana in body sanoJournal Political-social and ecological imbalances through the imbalance of freedom in relation to responsibilityExposition Practice without theoryEducational filmsMobile app Appery.ioMagazine: 100 reasons to learn, Traveler in 5 European schools, Dual Debate Magazine -Demotivation by StereotypingThe e Learning platformCaricature exhibition - the shortest road to successExhibition So yes, so noEducational Market BrochureMoral Calendar - Lifetime MaximsFinal resultsStudents - Polyglot professional dictionaryTeachers-School Guide for Successful Lessons and the decrease in absenteeism, Didactics of counseling, Student's counseling notebookIn the long run, we are following:had high-level teachers and would have a higher prestige be viewed by pupils, parents and the community as an effective stage in preparing young people andintegrating them into the labor market be part of several local, regional, national and European partnerships, broadening its methodologicaland didactic sphere of interferenceparticipate with many students at competitions and contestsbe looked at with respect and trust - will have a greater advancement in final examinations

Stefana Zeromskiego w ZawierciuFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-1-FR01-KA219-037374Funder Contribution: 118,360 EUR"Our ""Young European Entrepreneurs Schools "" ' project brings together 5 high schools located in France, Italy, Poland, Lithuania and Spain in order to join our efforts and to araise in our students the desire to create entreprises on European level and to facilitate their access to all information related to the world of business and entrepreneurship in these 5 countries. We want to accompany our future young entrepreneurs step-by-step to find business ideas and take advantage of their ideas. By bringing together general information on the labour market, trade and business creation in each of our respective countries, by bringing knowledge for a better understanding of cultural differences, we wish to share ideas of companies with our European partners and thus develop business ideas together. We will work on this project with our most vulnerable students in the technological and tertiary sectors in order to encourage them to be involved in their social and professional future; with those who spend their holidays in shopping malls because they have no other means to escape the greyness of suburban cities or the monotony of rural life. Throughout the project, each partner school will create a Mini Enterprise that could be turned into a real business in the future. All the results of the project activities will be commucated in a Brochure and a DVD entitled ""Young European Successful Entrepreneurs ' Handbook "" and via our Blogs and Main Website. Throughout the project, we will also develop a primer on Entrepreneurship, a Labour Market Study, a Prosperous Business Guide. We will also find original local products, promote them with commercials, and sell them. Mini-companies will confront their ideas and progress together. We will meet succesful entrepreneurs and interview them to share their experiences. We aim to make our students aware that entrepreneurs create new jobs, new sectors, new markets and the development of new technologies, thus guaranteeing the economic and social development of the country and, through such partnership, of Europe."
