Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje as project coordinator.Modern policy implementation and organisational frameworks fail to create a sustainable approach in the resolution of wicked problems as growing global concern. They include problems that are hard to define, difficult to solve and need various approaches for their potential solution. Poverty, climate change, health, gender equality, and justice are all wicked problems that are part of the SDG Agenda. SCORE aims to create a cooperation structure and develop a model for tackling these problems. Wider transnational capacities are involved, proposing a bottom-up approach in social-planning processes. Our aim is to demonstrate that such problematic can be solved through cautious approach of HEIs in the process. SCORE promotes and strengthens the European cooperation on this topic while designing and piloting novel research in tackling climate change. Specific topics that are to be addressed include environment and climate change, inter-regional cooperation and research and innovation. The project consortium will mutually benefit by active participation. Practically, project participants will be able to demonstrate decisiveness and capability in solving numerous problems in the relevant area, setting the foundation for other organisations to be able to implement such approaches. Furthermore, through the project implementation and follow up phases, a new generation of scholars will gain the knowledge, tools and methods for solving wicked problems. Sharing good practices and developing inter-connected higher education systems will be supported through sustainability network, models, e-tools and guidelines generated by SCORE.<< Objectives >>Implementation of SCORE sets an overall objective of developing a model and creating a cooperation structure with the project partners in tackling wicked problems. The inclusion of HEIs in addressing such challenges will set the foundation for present and future generations. SCORE aims to enhance various approaches in targeting such complex topics.Specific project objectives include:-Developed and evaluated model for transnational and inter-organisational cooperation of solving wicked problems,-Establishing inclusive bottom-up social planning approach,-Applied pilot research on air pollution as a wicked problem, and-Established transnational interdisciplinary structure for solving wicked problems.Air pollution, as wicked problem par excellence, is properly objectified as founding example for the proposed approach. Inclusion of project partners and various cities in its resolving, will serve as a proper example in the assessment of different economic, political, environmental and social policy responses.SCORE aims to target and involve a wider range of institutions and organisations, such as:-HEIs of the project consortium,-HEIs in the international and national networks of project partners, and-National and European policy creators.<< Implementation >>The project implementation is based on the inclusive approach with practice feedback. The activity plan is based on three horizontal activities and six project outcomes and it is divided in eight components, which further contain tasks that contribute to the main objective of the project. Appropriate activities are made to ensure quality project management and dissemination. The outcome project activities are organised in the following structure: analyse, agree, develop, test, and disseminate .<< Results >>The project will deliver the following results - State-of-art analysis that will present state-of-art development on wicked problems research and approaches- SCORE E-tool for holistic bottom-up approach for identifying solutions to wicked problems- SCORE model guidelines ensures that the model and the e-tool can be used to perform research on wicked problems by other academics within the partner institutions and other HEIs that are the target groups- Informative Kit for Wicked Problems for Policy Makers that should equip policy makers with all the necessary knowledge about wicked problems and what role can SCORE model and e-tool play in identifying solutions- SCORE Experimentation Report is a summary of the transnational research performed by the partner organisations that used the developed model and e-tool on the wicked problem of air pollution- Sustainability network will be established as an online platform to ensure the sustainability of the model, e-tool and the guidelines.

Available treatments have limited efficacy due to the highly aggressive and invasive nature of malignant cells, limitations of surgery and resistance to chemo/radiotherapy. More effective diagnostic methods and innovative therapeutic strategies, carried out by professionals able to successfully translate basic research into improved clinical outcomes, are urgently needed. In order to achieve this, TRAiNSGlioma brings together academic laboratory leaders in the field, universities, patient organization and dynamic SMEs in the frame of a MSCA-ITN action. They all together combine cutting-edge skills in preclinical and translational research, molecular imaging, genomics, chemistry, bioinformatics, modeling and education. The consortium is based on close relationships with clinicians and patients, enabling PhD students to play a key role in an integrated and ambitious project. They will implement new methods for early diagnosis and detection of invasive tumor cells. Innovative therapeutic strategies will be developed by identifying new biomarkers with dedicated imaging tools, designing new drugs that cross the blood-tumour barrier and implementing new combined therapies, including the emerging field of immunotherapy. A new generation of interdisciplinary researchers, exhibiting both scientific and entrepreneurial skills, will be trained to implement and transfer innovative theranostic strategies for GBM and beyond, in oncology, neuroscience and rare diseases. Active learning methods, integrated training sessions on transferable skills and an ambitious secondment plan will cover cutting edge knowledge on GBM, project management, ethics, IPR, market access, and multimodal and heterogeneous data handling. The training of 15 new experts will be completed by a multiscale analysis of all of the ESR’s data. This project will improve patient and public information on GBM, and contribute to the growth of SMEs involved in drug development, which will also facilitate market adoption of developed solutions.

The following institutions have participated in this Project:4 Universities UNIVERSIDAD DE ALCALA KATHOLIEKE UNIVERSITEIT LEUVEN PANEPISTIMIO IOANNINON EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION-CAMPUS EUROPAE3 Cooperatives Co-operative College Trust Cooperatives Europe asbl CoopeticThe project has been running for 26 months and, despite the health crisis we have been able to carry out the different activities although the multiplier events have had to been done on line.During this period, the IO1 was developed in a first phase, which consisted of developing a training course to help better understand what a cooperative is and to train how to undertake an activity under the model of a cooperative. This IO1 has been structured in the following units:MÓDULO 1: What is cooperative entrepreneurship? Módulo 1.A: Definition and principles of cooperatives entrepreneurship Módulo 1.B: History of cooperative entrepreneurshipMÓDULO 2: Cooperative business Módulo 2.A: Business Model / Design Thinking Módulo 2.B: Project Management : Methods and toolsMÓDULO 3: Cooperation in practice Módulo 3.A: Active cooperation in a team Módulo 3.B: Cooperation is going digitalThe material for all the units the material has been produced, as well as the activities needed to evaluate the knowledge acquired or to apply what has been learned. All units can be used as self-learning or with a trainer for which support material has been also developed. The course is available on: www.oercommons.org/search?f.search=coop4edu https://congresosalcala.fgua.es/coop4eduIt has been prepared by university institutions, as well as by cooperative associations or cooperatives that take part in the project. This has made it possible to introduce the transnational component, as well as the theoretical-practical union or the university-cooperative union. This course has been pilot tested at Coop in Manchester with students from all 3 university institutions. Likewise, some units have been used in Degree introductory courses and those units have experienced a great welcome. They seem to be a good way to introduce knowledge of cooperatives in training, an aspect that generally does not appear in the current study plans in different countries.During the second phase of the project, the IO4 has been developed as well as the document “Guidelines on implementation of the cooperative approach in higher education”. The document contains an introduction on cooperative entrepreneurship and education, an analysis of the legislation on cooperativism and entrepreneurship at the national and European level, good practices of entrepreneurship and cooperative and some recommendations. Each institution has contributed to the national vision and has contributed on how to broaden that national vision. Finally, 2 work and dissemination meetings have been held with more than 80 participants each of them, where it has been possible to discuss with experts the experiences and the working documents prepared by the participants.During all these debates, it has been brought to light that a culture of cooperative entrepreneurship is lacking and that a great effort is needed. In recent years, much progress has been made at the national and European level in the culture of entrepreneurship, but now it is necessary to take another step and to incorporate also cooperativism. One way to promote this culture is through education and training, and some subject or units should be incorporated within subjects on cooperativism. The EU and the States should be asked to regulate in a more favorable and homogeneous way the matter of cooperative entrepreneurship. It has also been seen that the students who have participated in the pilot course and those who have taken part in the meetings have highly appreciated this training and consider that it was lacking.
