The core objective of SINTETIC is to set up and demonstrate a traceability system for trees, logs and boards based on ICT through a central Geodatabase covering all the forest-based value chain. This faces the 3 main drawbacks of the ICTs in the forestry sector: -Deployed only in areas with mature timber market (North/Central EU vs. South EU). -Currently cannot be used during the whole value chain, causing several losses. -A reliable tool for tracing the origin of forest product is missing, still allowing illegal practices. Along with the core objective, the SINTETIC proposal will pursuit: SOBJ1: To achieve a higher value recovery of timber assortments (+10%). SOBJ2: To increase the overall efficiency of the timber supply chain. SOBJ3: To provide a greater competitive advantage of the EU forest industry (yield of high value sawnwood products from 20% to 22%). SOBJ4: To increase of the EU forested area under active management (aggregation of 12.000 ha fragmented properties). SOBJ5: To increase both the timber value, the resilience and the ecosystem services provided. SOBJ6: To tackle illegal logging and the related timber trade (-15%). SOBJ7: To facilitate a homogeneous and widespread uptake of the ICTs in the forest sector. The main expected results are: RES1: Manual marking and quality assessment (traceability system). RES2: Smartphone APP for motormanual operations. RES3: Processor head prototype. RES4: Harvester LiDAR. RES5: Sawmill sensors and traceability of sawnwood. RES6: Earth observation illegal logging alert service. RES7: Forest ownership aggregation platform. To make all this possible, SINTETIC will develop a geodatabase with a set of data providers interconnected by the traceability system. It'll provide: 1) Multi-platform data acquisition for the whole supply chain. 2) Data transmission with sesecured digital tools and physical IDs on timber products. 3) Data storage, analysis and distribution for the generation of further services.

According to the results of the study (EU-SILC 2008, Eurostat. Perceived health in workers aged 15-64 in the EU27), 19% of all deaths produced in the EU-27 are workers in working age.Forestry, scientific and statistical data support that there are high rates of mortality and morbidity in the development of the activity, specifically regarding diseases overexertion and safety risks arising from the prevention own Firefighting.Fire extinguishing is developed in difficult conditions, as the nature of the emergency requires urgent action, jobs are painful and exhausting and almost always develop in an atmosphere of precipitation and nervousness. Prevention work and firefighting require a high demand physical and psychological, which sometimes can lead to an imbalance with the capabilities of workers. It is therefore necessary qualify to properly in each of the skills of his job in order to obtain a quick response, as required for work in this sector.Psychophysical requirements that are required for the performance of tasks, may be incompatible with the skills of workers after a certain age, due to changes characteristic of aging, which are exacerbated or increased by these requirements and cannot be made the work with full guarantees for the safety and health of workers from a certain age. So that there is a mismatch of the physical and psychological demands on performance, it is needed there specific training in accordance with those requirements that are directed at improving the development of the skills of the operator in his job at an early age, from the point of view of health and safetyThe objectives were: Development of a specific training program based in a Serious Game for prevention and firefighting operator that takes into account the activities carried out and that includes the physical and mental requirements necessary, and skills and capabilities to consider in the development of Europe-wide Training Program, in a context of aging population. Develop a report that brings to notice the impact of aging on physical, sensory and motor capacities of prevention and firefighting operator, and its incidence to perform safely the tasks related to prevention and firefighting, because high stress, toxic and dangerous jobs.Forestgame was created on the base of the Moodle and is available for use on mobile devices and PCs. The nature of this work requires a tool that can be used anywhere. Training program: http://moodle.beti.ltIn this project the TP was compiled with the help of training modules that combine the medical, physical, technical and mental conditions that allow workers to gain their skills. The project had 2IO:1.Report: Job Profile Diagram and Training Program For Workers Operators Of Prevention And Extinguishing Forest Fires. After, we had a physiogram specific for The operator prevention and fire fighting including skills and capabilities to consider in developing the Training Program is held at European level. Finally had been developed the European Training Program for the acquisition of the necessary skills, which enable adequate professionalization of prevention and fire fighting operator. 2.Training By Serious Game: Trivial “Forestgame”.While the training program in digital support includes all the necessary training for the development of the tasks of this job, thereby enabling initial training and periodic, the Serious game allowed majoring these workers in specific aspects of greater relevance using an app. By its interactive nature It allows to transport workers your work setting. This app is therefore it is more specific on those aspects of practical training and / or risk.PARTNERSHIP: SGS (Spain), GWU (Malta), BETI (Lithuania), ASEMFO (Spain), ENB (Portugal). This project achieved a unified training program in the whole Europe, to perform with full guarantees of safety and health workplace the activities of extinguishing and fire prevention of forest sector. The program consists of 9 modules and tests with different levels. The program was tested by forestry experts. Based on their evaluations and recommendations, were made different improvements and at the moment, the training is a useful tool that has already begun to be used in the consortium countries. This is multidisciplinary training that integrates medical aspects of physical, technical and mental condition because of the high psychophysical demands of the job. It is achieving the professionalizing the sector across Europe through a training tool available to download by anyone. The training program is easy to distribute and share because it's embedded in an App/website, so results of tests can be analyzed easily by the consortium through Big Data analytics to improve the training over time.http://forestgame.euThe Project results have been published in Open Access platforms:https://www.oercommons.org/courseware/lesson/63439/overviewhttps://epale.ec.europa.eu/en/resource-centre/content/forestgame-project
