"It draws on the researched and tested technologies and pedagogical models of previously successful EU co-funded projects (like MAPLE and S4F) and contemporary business development models to provide long term sustainable Open Educational Resources (OER) and services that underpin progression to nationally and internationally accredited qualifications in Mathematics at Level 1, 2 and 3 of the European Qualifications Framework.IMAS objectives are:To provide teachers with a statistics data tool for automating progress measures of mathematical learning progress, reducing time spent on administration and transferring it to teaching informed by empirical data from testing. To raise levels of digital literacy in schools in order to make people more self-sufficient in their use of technology and less dependent on formal retraining every time there is a shift in the technological ecosystem. To develop a strategy to support the development of Open Education Resources, including free services founded in a sustainable business model that is self-sustaining.To gather empirical evidence of what children know and can do in mathematics in order to feedback to and develop the curriculum based on direct evidence. To provide a teaching resource showcasing best practice in Mathematical teaching including schemes of work, lesson plans and other resources. The project partners are from ES, NL, BE, CY, IE. They represent mainly small business enterprises and two universities. They have a wealth of technical and pedagogical expertise and share a collective enthusiasm for practical methods of reducing costs and improving efficiency through the use of free software, OERs and free services supported by a contemporary ""freemium"" business model. The main results of the project areAn Statistical Analysis Gathering system to be able to draw the evolution of Maths learning in schools at levels EQF 1, 2 and 3. A taxonomy of Maths knowledge will be developed to categorize the 24 questionnaires developed in all the project languages to run the Baseline tests (BLT). The technical environment to run the BLT is moodle.Performing the Statistical Analysis of the “big data”. This means collecting the data running BLTs; organize the results to be analyse; and create reports to show the results and conclusions, and aggregated results showing national and European results Create a repository with maths resources categorized using the taxonomy developed. There are two types of OERs in it. 600 resources available in Internet, and 30 interactive resources developed by the project in HTML5 and SCORM format using Storyline 360. The areas of the resources to include will come from the results of the BLTs.Dealing with the Pedagogical Strategy of teaching maths, and totally related with teachers, the project creates a guidance system to select resources (from the repository) to use with their students depending on the results on the BLT related with their levels and with the areas they need to work more deeply. They will also have a In-service e-training programme to learn which active methodologies they can use to teach maths and howFinally, there will be a project eLearning Platform which will be used by all the other results, and where all those results will be available, with a Creative Commons licence, to be used during and after the project is finishedSo in this project the focus is on the integration of new pedagogical methods, technical infrastructure and business methods associated with the contemporary internet disruptive innovation and evidence based pedagogy. Statistic data provides very clear opportunities to contextualise improved learning through empirical research and we have a proven method of doing this that can scale at low cost to every country in Europe. Activities are focused on collecting evidence from testing what children know and understand about maths before and after formal teaching. In order to take this beyond simple empirical data collection on a large scale we will provide the support and infrastructure for free to enable learning and hence improvement in knowledge, understanding and skills. There will be progression routes for students to gain new qualifications, nationally accredited, directly referenced to levels in the EQF, and supporting ECVET and EQARF principles. The associated training and guidance for teachers will have a multiplying effect and can be extended to all STEM subjects. The project management is based on the principles of Prince2. The pedagogical method is assessment based on learning outcomes and competence based criteria supported by comprehensive open source collaborative technologies running in the Cloud. This is complemented by online exams to provide grading. All are OERs and provided with free Creative Commons licence."

MOB4APP project aims at enhancing the professional development of VET professionals in order to improve, manage and support cross-country mobility for apprentices in Europe. The project will provide VET professional, companies and VET learners with specific knowledge, skills and competences necessary to promote, guide, assist, facilitate and assess effective mobility experiences abroad for apprentices. The trained VET Professionals will be able to design, develop and deliver quality transnational work based learning arrangements, recognising and overcoming some of the most common problems associated with practical implementation of long-term mobility for apprentices in Europe. The MOB4APP project aims at strengthening the role of VET professionals as link between apprentices and companies by developing a training path for VET professionals and supporting materials for companies and apprentices. The project will address VET teachers and trainers as primary target group while VET students, trainees and companies as final beneficiaries. Most official EC documents and recommendations confirm the existence of a mismatch between the benefits of long-term mobility for apprentices and the quality of the professional competences needed to implement this practice in an effective way (EC, Mobility of Apprentices in Europe, Report, 2019).In this regard, the project will produce the following tangible results: - IO1 MOB4APP Training Programme for VET professionals- IO2 MOB4APP Toolkit for companies and apprentices- IO3 MOB4APP MOOCThe partnership includes seven partners (Co.Meta, CISL Marche, Berlink, Pro Work, the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce, The Pedagogical University of Krakow and the Spain Chamber of Commerce) from 6 different countries (Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium and Spain). The MOB4APP project is seeking to generate particular impact for VET Professionals (primary target group), VET students/trainees and companies (final beneficiaries) through the creation of original materials, activities and training modules to support, manage and implement long-term mobility for apprentices in Europe. The project activities aim at providing VET professionals with specific knowledge, skills and competences necessary to promote, facilitate and assess effective cross-country mobility for apprentices. The key strategy to impact on end users is to combine the training of trainers, with activities to raise the consciousness of companies, trainees and Policy Makers on the potential of mobility experiences abroad for apprentices in terms of acquisition of competences, employability, competitiveness and innovation. The second strategy is focused on the provision of innovative pedagogic approaches, tools and materials, producing resources, which can be very easily incorporated within existing training practices.

"Women are In: Skills and Competences for Work and Entrepreneurship (WOMIN):The current socio-economic context proves the necessity of entrepreneurship development, as being an efficient way of supporting the active measures of the labour market to create new jobs and to stimulate the economy. The European strategies in the field of employment emphasise entrepreneurship because it plays an essential part in employment policy and fighting unemployment. The personal and social costs of unemployment include severe financial hardship and poverty, debt, homelessness and housing stress, family tensions and breakdown, boredom, alienation, shame and stigma, increased social isolation, crime, erosion of confidence and self-esteem, the atrophying of work skills and ill-health. EU Commission ""Women's situation in the labour market"": Women work more part-time are paid less and often still carry out the bulk of private domestic and care responsibilities. Across the EU there is a serious gender inequality where women are under-employed and tend to have low self-confidence, low skills and competences. Partner countries all have the same issue which needs to be tackled - empowering women adults with entrepreneurial skills and competences that move them closer to the labour market and able to have the option of working from home.6 partners:UK: WSX Enterprise & Make A Dream Publishing Ltd; Netherlands: PROWORK; Lithuania: ZISPB - will deliver training to own staff, trainers and associate partners who will deliver workshops and coaching to disadvantaged women furthest from the labour market.Turkey: BOSEV: upskill trainers to improve entrepreneurial skills and competences for migrant women and refugees.Romania: BUCOVINA: will target 5 Roma communities to improve their entrepreneurial skills and competences.Using non-formal education methods we will develop a digital toolkit and entrepreneurial training programme. We will deliver both to 24 educators and trainers from UK, Romania, Turkey, Lithuania and Netherlands during a 5-day short term staff training (C1) event held in Suceava, Romania in Month 12. These trainees will be evaluated using KOLB’s Experiential Learning Cycle. They will then go on to support 240 women across the partnership (10 per trainee) in Months 13 - 19. Impact on the social and mental well-being of women (distance traveled) will be evaluated using the WEMWBS tool with qualitative feedback from trainers, women and stakeholders. A further 60+ trainers will participate in 6 webinars. The training programme and digital toolkit will provide educators/trainers with tools to strengthen their entrepreneurial and digital skills and competences and those of their beneficiaries. We will hold 6 transnational partnership meetings with 2 staff attending from each partner. At the first meeting, we will agree on initial assessment protocols and offline workshop training programme that are user-friendly (for trainers and women learners). These will be evaluated via local women focus group and local stakeholder meetings in Months 3-5. This will be fed back to the partners in Month 6 at the 2nd partnership meeting. At 2nd meeting PROWORK will present a draft digital toolkit to partners; this will be presented to and evaluated by stakeholders and women focus groups Months 7-9. At the 3rd meeting in Month 10 we will have agreed content for a pilot training programme for delivery to 24 educators/trainers at the C1 training event in Suceava Month 12. Trainers will deliver the learning to 240 women beneficiaries between Months 13-19. We will create 6 webinars to support the training programme as part of the digital toolkit. The digital training represents a path for trainers and learners to acquire the digital skills and competences needed for entrepreneurship. We do so by exploiting the resources, videos, games and other content that we present at the 1st partnership meeting before co-creation of the digital toolkit and webinars.Following a review in Month 22 (final meeting) each partner will host a local multiplier conference with a minimum of 30 attendees per event in Months 23/24. All activities will be robustly evaluated, reviewed and re-evaluated during project implementation.C1 workshop training participants will receive recognition in the form of Europass Mobility Certificates, to enhance their CVs and future employability in the field of adult education (evidence of CPD). Through the new methods, techniques and approaches learned, educators, trainers, support staff, volunteers and stakeholders will benefit by being introduced to new skills, new cultures and new outlooks on life as a whole.Projected targets for women:- 60%+ to show improved socio-economic and mental well being- 30%+ to progress on to further training/employment/self-employmentProject results will be available for 5 years after the project completion. They will add to the evidence base of what works, why and for whom."

Context/background:In this project the partners will develop a new skill competition model for people with disabilities - the ParaSkills Competitions. In the EU 47% of people with disability are employed, and only 28% of people with severe disability are employed. Employees with a labor disability, supported by Sheltered Workshops often have difficulty joining the open labor market due to the economic crisis, poor certification and bad image of the employees with a labor disability. Competitions like the Paralympics and skills competitions like Euro/World Skills and the Abilympics are influential instruments in creating attention and a perfect showcase to show the abilities of people with a disability and it also improves learning opportunities and creates qualified and highly motivated employees and improves their chances to join the labor market. The PSC will be a spectacular promotion of the SW employees and their professions. Employers from the open labor market will play an important role in the support of the employees with a labor disability and the promotion of the project. The project focuses on the following target groups:- Employees with a labor disability (SW employees) - Employers in the open labor market - Workers organisations- Sheltered Workshops - management - Sheltered Workshops - trainers/coaches/adult learning staff - Policy making organisations - Umbrella organisations - General public - Government (regional/EU)- Adult еducational organisationsObjectives of the project:Main objectives:- Enlarge the socioeconomic participation of disabled employees in a structured and sustainable way- Improve lifelong learning possibilities for people with a labor disability and provide certification based on learning outcomes- Improve the image of disabled employees and affirm they role as reliable, important added value, interesting source of labor capacity, and are or can be trained and qualified to join the common labor market- Decrease the reluctance of organizations to employ people with a labor handicap- Improve the basic and vocational skills of disabled employees- Improve the connection between the open labor market and the disabled people - Further development of the P-Scales certification system- Increasing formal certification for people with a disability (referenced to the EQF аnd ECVET-compliant)The activities that will be developed during the PSC project :- Further development of the P-scales system and training of assessors- Selection and certification of employees with a labor disability- Extensive networking- National try-outs and national workshops in partner countries- International ParaSkills Competitions- Final webinar- Feasibility study and business plan for future ParaSkills Competitions (focus on sustainability)- Transfer of knowledge and resultsMethodology used:The PSC project combines ParaSkills Competitions with the innovative certification methodology P-Scales referenced to the EQF and focused on transparent assessment of learning outcomes (ECVET).Short description of the results:• Organizing 6 national try-outs and 1 European PSC (expected visitors: 80 ) • Create a base for biennial recurring PSC, with employees with a labor disability from different countries• 3-6 SW companies will join the PSC• Approx. 50 candidates (SW employees) with 4-6 different job types will be prepared and compete during the PSCs • All 50 candidates of the PSCs (national and international) will be assessed and certified (P-Scales)• At least 20 assessors in different countries are trained (train-the-trainer) to use the P-Scales assessment and certification model and platform• At least 10 trainers/coaches are involved in workshops (exchange and transfer of knowledge)• At least 10 employers are involved in the project• A workshop at all partner countries (total expected visitors: 80)• 1 final webinar, website, brochures, newsletters every 6 months, use of Facebook, Twitter, and other media like television to disseminate the results• Disseminate the results of the project to 20 countries, through existing and new networks, and to different target groups (SW companies, employers, policy makers etc.)• Feasibility report with plan for sustainable development of PSCPotential longer term benefits: This PSC create a unique and innovative event within Europe. We can raise awareness of the importance of professional excellence of the employees with a labor disability and the importance of training this target group for Europe. It also promotes the education and training excellence within the Sheltered Workshops in Europe. It creates a sustainable skill competition model which can be developed further. It increases the certification rate of people with a labor disability and tightens the gap with the open labor market. So together we meet the challenge and build on an inclusive society.
