One of the most current and crucial problems of Turkey and Europe is the integration of young refugees who have been forced to flee his or her country because of persecution, war, or violence. Turkey hosts the largest number of refugees in the world and its response to refugees has been generous and positive. According to UNHCR figures Refugees and asylum-seekers in Turkey including almost 3.6 million Syrian nationals and close to 330,000 registered refugees and asylum-seekers of other nationalities. Over 98% of Syrian refugees live across Turkey in 81 provinces. It is indicated in UNHCR’s situation report that the total number of refugees in Turkey hits almost 4 Million, close to 1.4 million of them are under 15 years old, and over 800,000 are aged between 15 and 24. Almost 1 Million refugees are Youth and facing many challenges in this new environment. The integration process of young refugees needs to be supported with life skills such as strategic thinking, goal setting, problem-solving, leadership, entrepreneurship, and effective communication and networking. The new generation of young refugees entering Turkey must be competent at being part of a team and consequently knowing an effective team culture and taking initiative in an efficient relationship. The main objective of this project is to create voluntary based, collective organizations where the young refugees have the opportunity to take in part in learning, training, teaching activities, creating an e-learning platform, e-guidebook, and research that will serve as a tool to ease their integration process into the new community. These collective organizations at each partner not only stay in close contact to support each other but also spread the word about this project to other organizations in their countries. This Project’s curriculum tackles some of the most important surviving skills. This project aims to target young refugees to involve them in a program focusing on building leadership, entrepreneurship, and career development skill trainings. Our learning, teaching, and training activities will create leaders and entrepreneurs of young refugees by promoting them with leadership and career skills. 30 young refugees will develop new skills that ease their integration process and help them to become a valuable asset in the job market. They become an example for other young refugees and inspire them to show their full potential. Two Training Activities targeting different skills in accordance with the themes of them will be organized. Namely: the first training will focus on leadership skills, while the second one will be on entrepreneurship skills and career development skills. In general, the call for application will be made public at each partner and young refugees will be invited to participate. The selected young refugees will be asked to commit to this project. Throughout the project cycle, young refugees will gain increased awareness about leadership, entrepreneurship, and career development skills, and develop those skills further to reconcile their personal aspirations with the demands of society. Before we started to write the proposal, the partners were consulted as to their needs and priorities. These priorities were researched and need analysis was conducted to find out which problem was really pressing. After that, we worked on the schedule and framework of the training activities in accordance with the expertise of the partners involved. The project also aims to yield 3 intellectual outputs: Academic Research, e-Guidebook for Young Refugees and an E-Learning Platform. The creation of an E-Learning Platform for the young refugees will ensure continuous support and communication among them and will be a venue for future the young refugees to benefit from. We believe that this project would generate more competent young refugees who could be more effective and efficient in their future professional lives in a world, which gets more interdependent every day.In order to reach a wide range of objectives, building the right partner structure is key to reach desired results without compromising quality. Therefore, we bring together partners from different backgrounds. Our partner structure involves Non-governmental organizations in Turkey and the EU, university, and software-media company. Our planned Multiplier events will served as result of our project as well. With multiplier events we plan to disseminate our results with academia, private sector, governmental institutions, grassroot non-governmental organizations and other relevant parties. Introduction about each intellectual output, the purpose of their use, and areas where they can be utilized will be shared with the audience that will be composed of scholars, university representatives, students, NGO representatives and other stakeholders.

The cultural and creative sectors, especially the venue-based sectors (museums, performing arts, festivals, exhibitions, etc.) are among the hardest hit by the pandemic. They stimulate innovation, as well as have various positive social impacts, such as well-being and health, education, inclusion, urban regeneration, etc. In some way, the lockdown and social distancing measures have made evident the importance of arts and culture for people’s mental well-being, and this recognition provides a new opportunity to capitalize on the role of arts and culture in the face of Covid-19 emergency. Also, during these unfortunate times creativity and innovation are very important, because they represent powerful tools for education and development. Given that, this Strategic partnership between 6 organisations working in the field of youth, creativity and arts seeks to enable building the capacities of educators, youth workers and young people to use arts as educational tools for addressing positive values, such as solidarity, unity, inclusion, and equity, which have crucial importance in dealing with the Covid-19 emergency. Now, probably more than ever, it is time for unity and for the international community to work together in solidarity to stop its long-lasting consequences. That being said, with the project ‘Art is My Weapon’ we seek to engage young people across Europe in a unique intercultural action for addressing solidarity, unity, inclusion, and equity through painting murals on public surfaces across Europe in partners’ countries. Thus, during the project 42 participants will take part in a Youth exchange where they will paint murals on a wall (2 meters tall and 15 meters long) of a football field part of the Red Cross Training Center in Struga, the Republic of Macedonia. Upon return to their home countries, the partners and participants by involving local young people will paint one mural on a public surface in their local communities as well. All murals in each country will be part of one concept that will reflect the project idea in order to create landmarks in partner’s countries who participated in this project which will be revealed during an online exhibition on 12 August - the International Day of Youth. Also, during the project 24 youth workers will be trained in non-formal methods addressing solidarity, unity, inclusion and equity. The methods will be part of a Toolkit published on the project’s website for other youth workers, educators and young leaders to use in their future work, supported with video tutorials on their implementation. In that regard, the project’s objectives are set as follows:to commemorate the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to raise awareness about European values among youth and the general public, such as solidarity, unity, inclusion and equity through painting murals in all partner’s countries;to provide an opportunity for international cooperation and exchange of experiences and good working practices related to using arts as an educational tool in partner’s countries;to create a Toolkit about how to use arts as an educational tool, thus to increase youth workers’ capacity to facilitate activities addressing solidarity, unity, inclusion, and equity among young people through use of creative non-formal methods;to design and develop a Website about how to use arts as a tool for education, social and community development;to organize and implement an online exhibition where the murals painted in each partner country will be revealed, happening on 12 August - International Youth Day;to promote the Erasmus+ Programme, intercultural learning and non-formal education. The murals painted in the local communities of partners’ communities will have a long term impact on the general public who will be able to receive the message behind it for 5-10 years to come. One big mural will be painted during the Youth exchange by the participants, as well as 6 other murals in partners’ local communities that will be part of one cohesive concept. All murals will commemorate the Covid-19 emergency by promoting solidarity, unity, inclusion and equity. Thus, the murals will be painted on public surfaces by involving young people from partner’s local communities in order to make an impact on local and European level by showing what can be done by youth coming from 6 different European countries and backgrounds. With these murals we seek to make a triple impact - to beautify the environment, to make young voices be heard by promoting solidarity, unity, inclusion, and equity and to commemorate the Covid-19 emergency. In addition, since the youth workers will use the methods learned during the project, young people and other youth workers in partner’s countries and around Europe will be able to benefit from this methodology.

The project “Values of Peace, Values of Europe” was hosted but Center for education and training Prizren from Kosovo in cooperation with 9 other partner from Albania, Croatia, Italy, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Turkey and Bulgaria among which half are EU member state and half are candidate of potential candidate countries. In same time societies of half of the countries faced conflicts in recent history. Project included capacity building in all involved communities and mobility activities which were hosted in Kosovo and Croatia. Following activities were organised during the project: Seminar in Kosovo; local acuities in all involved communities, Training course in Croatia followed by local activities, Conference in Kosovo and publication. All organisations that were involved in consortium are youth civic organisations. Education within the project was mainly based on non-formal education methods, but in same time it provided space for peer-to-peer learning, learning by doing, as well as opportunity to exchange ideas, good practices, solutions. Project also provided participants with opportunity to think, discuss and test methods for youth work activities in their communities. Cooperation with institutions and other organisations was also established during the project. Main aim of the project was to build capacities of involved organisations and communities to promote values of the peace along with other European values within their target groups. Reason and main motivation for organisations to implement this project was rise of discrimination, hate speech, violence against minorities and nationalisms in Europe which they were not able to address without educating its youth workers and providing them with mentioned opportunities. In same time half of organisations are working in counties with EU membership perspective in which Euro-scepticism and lover support to EU integration during slow and not very visible reforms and progress on this path in more than 20 years. Therefore project had and mainly achieved following objectives:-To exchange practices, experiences and solutions for youth work provided by involved organisations;-To understand values of young people in communities and learn how to assess, measure and analyse it using pulls and other tools;-To provide training opportunity to youth workers and young leaders from organisations and communities regarding European and peace values;-To create new youth worker methods based on new resources and needs of organisations, youth workers and communities;-To prepare and promote publication regarding project and its results;-To create network and long term partnership among organisations regarding cooperation on promotion of European values and values of peace in communities and internationally;-To leverage capacities of consortium members to cooperate internationally and to strengthen their position in local communities by taking part in a multi-stage international project;-Finally, to build capacities of hosting organisation to organise large scale international projects (as this was first one hosted by CET Prizren) Project idea was created on network meeting, but organisations which are not part of the network were also involved in development and implementation of the project in order to ensure wider reach and spread of project results, as well as quality. The idea of the project was born during the meeting of CET Platform network, during which all organizations created a set of fields of common interest and their training needs. Based on it we came up with an idea of a project based on European values and peace building as a base of European societies.
