MAGNETO addresses significant needs of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) in their fight against terrorism and organised crime, related to the massive volumes, heterogeneity and fragmentation of the data that officers have to analyse for the prevention, investigation and prosecution of criminal offences. These needs have been identified after consulting with eleven different European LEAs –members of the MAGNETO consortium. In response, MAGNETO empowers LEAs with superior crime analysis, prevention and investigation capabilities, by researching and providing tailored solutions and tools based on sophisticated knowledge representation, advanced semantic reasoning and augmented intelligence, well integrated in a common, modular platform with open interfaces. By using the MAGNETO platform, LEAs will have unparalleled abilities to fuse and analyse multiple massive heterogeneous data sources, uncover hidden relationships among data items, compute trends for the evolution of security incidents, ultimately (and at a faster pace) reaching solid evidence that can be used in Court, gaining also better awareness and understanding of current or past security-related situations. In parallel, MAGNETO will spark an ecosystem of third-party solution providers benefiting from its open, modular and reusable architectural framework and standard interfaces. To achieve these objectives, MAGNETO will test and demonstrate its developments on five representative and complementary use cases (types of crime), under real-life operational conditions in the facilities of eleven different LEAs, keeping them continuously in the production loop, adopting an agile implementation methodology and a multi-disciplinary scientific approach, combining researchers with exceptional track records, officers with top-level operational know-how in law enforcement, recognised experts for legal and ethical compliance to EU and national standards, and qualified training experts for innovative curricula development.

"According to Eurostat (2013) Health problems related with working conditions affected 7,9% EU-28 nearly two in every three people in the EU-28 who had experienced work-related health problems during the previous 12 months and had been absent from work as a consequence had been absent for at least four days. The continuous increase of young workers (between 15 and 24 years) in the world economy, raises special concerns in the safety and health. Younger workers are more likely to be victims of accidents not - deadly, more serious, than their older colleagues, because of the general lack of professional experience and understanding of the risks present in the workplace, and also due to lack training in safety and health and lack of physical and emotional maturity. In the European Union, for example, the incidence rate of non - fatal accidents is 50 % higher among young workers than in other age groups. Besides the costs and negative consequences to individuals, this phenomenon hinders economic growth and competitiveness. In many EU territories OSH issues, are already included in the curricula, but in other countries, the curriculum restraints, time limitations and teaching training priorities difficult all the process. The curricula and activities have to be continuously updated. This Strategic Partnership (SP) includes partners representing different and complementary fields of expertise and previous experience with schools, in their respective countries. Besides ensuring strong involvement of teachers and high impact on the intervention, the partnership will also assure future dissemination of the project outputs and network implementation.This project should be carried out transnationally to build a SP combining OSH and education experts. By supporting teachers' education, MS-SM2, will help them to expand skills, and provide the right tools to deal with OSH issues at school. It intends to involve them in the construction of knowledge and in the sharing of best practices, which will simultaneously improve the quality of the teaching and learning process and potentially increase the knowledge of young people to protect their health and quality of life. Following the main goal of SP, ''MS-SM2'' intends to carry out a joint initiative, to implement in 3 years, that will allow the exchange of knowledge and experience developing educational teacher's guidelines in the scope of OSH. Throughout this period, the project will also support several informal approaches and resources referring to the teaching of OSH subjects. These networked activities will be carried out using an existing Web platform which answers the project's needs. Additionally, the project will increase the dissemination of best practices in the refereed web platform, potentially leading to transfer the project outputs and network implementation to the classroom. These materials for the classroom and teachers training are specially to prepare future workers about the risks in the work of the future:o To promote an increase of the teachers' professional development, by providing a diversified training blended offer (formal and non-formal knowledge achievement), through the construction of IO1; o To promote the storage of OSH educational resources in a platform by creating a repository of best practices designed for the educational/training system in safety and health;o To promote teacher's involvement (especially teachers working in schools with highly diverse, low income communities and high early school leaving rates) in innovating methodologies by using a collaborative platform to make accessible the diversified experiences from partners and by promoting training benchmarks for teachers and trainers;o To contribute to minimize young/future workers work accidents numbers by promoting OSH education and improve the awareness for the hazards at work, by constructing a OSH materials for teachers training and for the classroom, with activities and methodological suggestions on OSH, with inclusive materials, and a Students booklet ( including an audio version to low vision and blind students and a version in braille, in order to allow the replication of the ""MS-SM2"" by other agents and its spreading (digital publication).o The minority groups and people with disabilities need special protection in the working life. They meet most with the risks also. Among the goals of the proj are disseminated occupational health and safety culture for them."

The main objective of ALL-ECOM project is to promote the acquisition and improvement of skills and competences needed for the adaptation to the changes and challenges of the digital economy.With this objective the project has been developed in three phases which cover the core activities of the project work plan: WP2 to WP6. The rest of working packages cover the transversal activities of the project: Management (WP1); Dissemination and Exploitation of results (WP7) Quality assurance (WP8) and Evaluation (WP9).All the activities foreseen have been implemented and the expected results have been achieved.1. Preparation- Research PhaseIn this initial phase the specific skills and competences necessary for the e-commerce have been detected through the development of the following research activities:WP2 Skill gaps analysis through desk research and quantitative/qualitative researchWP3 Analysis of training offer and innovative learning methodsThe results of these researches allowed the project to know from the key actor’s point of view the skills and competences that are needed regarding e-commerce.2. Implementation-Development PhaseThe results of the previous research phase have been the basis to develop the main project outputs. In this implementing phase occupational and training standards, programs, contents and tools considered appropriate to meet the training needs detected in the field of e-commerce have been developed.The working packages implemented in this phase have been:WP4 “Elaboration of a common map of qualifications”WP5 “Development of open educational resources and tools”.During 2016 and mid of 2017 the main activities programed in the WP4 have been carried out: -The exchange of methodologies-The staff mobility “Training on the design of qualifications using the learning outcomes approach” -Definition of new learning outcomes-LOs related to e-commerce -Elaboration of a Common Map of Qualifications In WP5 of this implementing phase:•The training courses developed in the previous stage have been transformed into open on-line courses MOOCs and hosted in the project e-learning platform accessible through the project website: http://www.allecom.org/index.php/en/training•It has been also developed an on-line tool for the self-assessment of competences on e-commerce. The tool incorporates 7 questionnaires that respond to the seven units of competence defined. Users can self-assess their level of knowledge, skills and competences on these matters. Testing phaseIn this phase the training courses and the on-line tool have been tested by project beneficiaries in all partners’ countries. The final aim of these testing activities has been to receive direct feedback and inputs about the project results in order to make improvements in these results based on their opinions, suggestions and proposals of direct beneficiaries. A total of 213 project beneficiaries have participated in the testing activities in the different partner´s countries. The expected project results achieved lay the groundwork for the accomplishment of foreseen long-term results (outcomes) in workers, employers and entrepreneurs of the commerce sector to upskill and to facilitate their adaptation to the requirements of the digital economy and also in national VET systems to give answer to these requirements.-More than 300 workers and employers have participated in the research phase.-111 workers and employers of the commerce sector have improved their skills and competences on e-commerce.-More than 11.550 stakeholders have been involved in project activities.-120 representatives of the target groups have participated in the working groups for the validation of project results.-3 national VET Systems have adopted project results to update their NQF and improve their Systems

Border authorities and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) across Europe face important challenges in how they patrol and protect the borders. Their work becomes more problematic considering the heterogeneity of threats, the wideness of the surveyed area, the adverse weather conditions and the wide range of terrains. Although there are several research tools and works targeting these areas independently for border surveillance, nowadays border authorities do not have access to an intelligent holistic solution providing all aforementioned functionalities. Towards delivering such a solution, ROBORDER aims at developing and demonstrating a fully-functional autonomous border surveillance system with unmanned mobile robots including aerial, water surface, underwater and ground vehicles, capable of functioning both as standalone and in swarms, which will incorporate multimodal sensors as part of an interoperable network. The system will be equipped with adaptable sensing and robotic technologies that can operate in a wide range of operational and environmental settings. To provide a complete and detailed situational awareness picture that supports highly efficient operations, the network of sensors will include static networked sensors such as border surveillance radars, as well as mobile sensors customised and installed on board unmanned vehicles. To succeed implementing an operational solution, a number of supplementary technologies will also be applied that will enable the establishment of robust communication links between the command and control unit and the heterogeneous robots. On top of this, detection capabilities for early identification of criminal activities and hazardous incidents will be developed. This information will be forwarded to the command and control unit that will enable the integration of large volumes of heterogeneous sensor data and the provision of a quick overview of the situation at a glance to the operators, supporting them in their decisions.
