<< Background >>According to the European Commission: “The growing importance of sustainability has reached all sectors and it is easy to consider green jobs as the preserve of eco-industry.” The last disasters, like the covid-19 pandemic and Australia fire are showing us we need green business forms and social innovation more than ever and young people can change the world by doing green jobs. We empower them by training as eco-literate and green entrepreneur so they can find green jobs. We can provide learning, teaching, training activities and internship opportunities to them so they have been employed in green start up companies and they gain skills to start their own green start up company. The project has brought together 6 partners from Slovenia (Ekonomska šola Novo mesto), Turkey (Nature Conservation Centre), Austria (Innovation Education Centre), Italy (CIAPE), Spain (UCAM) and Portugal (Rightchallenge), all of them related with youth, online-training, nature conservation, entrepreneurship and eco-literacy.<< Objectives >>The project focuses on increasing youth employment in the green business. Our first focus includes collecting data to present youth's knowledge, attitudes and habits and expectations regarding ecological literacy and green entrepreneurship. Moreover it also includes analysing and describing the green start up company by data collection from the selected institution through a survey and we will create a list of key topics like sustainability, waste management, packaging, water and energy conservation, carbon emission and finally we will prepare aguide as how to be eco-friendly or green start up company. The second focus is designing online training program. We will cultivate young people as eco-literate and green entrepreneur by online-training, mostly interactive video lessons with core learning modules. After the training they have a change to apply the internship program in green start up companies. The program provides that young people are able to see the trends, activities, and changes in green economy by interacting with supervisors on real job site. They can see how to contribute to human wellbeing, sustainability, biodiversity and eco-industries as well. The third focus is organising a competition for young people who are dreaming of green start up. According to a survey conducted by MonsterTRAK, young workers want employment with a green company: %80 of those surveyed said they are interested in a job that has a positive impact on the environment and a whopping %92 would chose working for an environmentally friendly company.<< Implementation >>Five main activities will be developed:1. A Guide: How To Be Green CompanyAnalysing youth's knowledge, attitudes and habits and expectations regarding ecological literacy and green entrepreneurship. Finding good examples and surveying key topics in ecoindustry would be useful tool to make the best decisions to address sustainable world.2. Online training: Eco-literate and green entrepreneur skills for young people integrationTraining young people to cultivate eco-literacy by creating learning modules; how does nature work, how does man impact the Earth's natural systems, sustainability and circular economy, green entrepreneurship, solutions for the future, entrepreneurial ideas to help restore Earth's natural systems.3. An Internship Program in Green CompaniesInternship is the best way to get a foothold in a career door young people may never get otherwise. They will complete a week internship and see fresh ideas, unique angles, the latest eco-industry developments and hands on help.4. Green Entrepreneurs CompetitionOrganising the competition to bring young green entrepreneurs to connect globally and receive support on turning their ideas into a tangible impact, with a focus on urgent issues like climate change, deforestation, waste management.5. Eco-Linkedln: The online service to bring eco-literate/green entrepreneur young people and members of green start up companies together.Learning, Teaching, Training Activities and Multiplier Events also support the project implementation.<< Results >>CARE shall result in:- Presenting youth's knowledge, attitudes and habits and expectations regarding ecological literacy and green entrepreneurship,- Presenting good practices in green entrepreneurship companies, analysing their actions for sustainability, waste management, packaging, water and energy conservation, carbon emission activities.- Presenting how the companies conduct activities to develop green entrepreneurship,- Creating a guide for young people how to start up their own green company,- Inviting young people who can contribute green economy,- Creating a community who interested in global environmental issues and they show their entrepreneurs to fulfill the demand for creative tools,- Creating a online training program for cultivating ecological literacy and green entrepreneurship,- Provision of innovative training tools for the promotion of ecological literacy among young people through measured effectiveness of internship program,- Empowered capacity of young people, youth workers, young leaders, green entrepreneurs and support staff for green companies through effective face to face and online training modules,- Creative approaches and the influence on policy makers related to ecological literacy informed youth practices using Eco-Linkedln Platform,- Cultivating ecological literacy, fostering young people engagement in green entrepreneurship, but also encourage them to take action towards global environmental problems,- Increased capacity of nature conservation, being exposed to informal education through ecological literacy online training as participants work together and share experiences in a natural setting,- Increased public interest to nature conservation in Europe by cultivating ecological literacy,- Improving knowledge and experience of representatives of institutions and youth workers about concept of ecological literacy,- Designing the ecological literacy online training to raise awareness and appreciation of biological diversity in Europe.- Keeping people’s (young people, youth workers, professionals working with youth, young leaders, green entrepreneurs and support staff for green companies) interest to issues about ecological literacy, nature education, entrepreneurship,- Contributing to social inclusion of young people from disadvantaged background,- Building a society who feels close and attached to nature will contribute to using natural resources sustainably and thus building sustainable planet,- Getting a foothold in a career door young people may never get otherwise through the internship programs,- Creating an environment where young green entrepreneurs could see fresh ideas, unique angles, the latest eco-industry developments and hands on help through the internship programs,- Improving internship programs in green companies,-Organising a competition for young people to provide planned financial support for innovative green solutions and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.- Designing a Eco-Linkedln Platform to bring eco-literate young people and members of green start up companies together,- Sharing the experience with a festival,- Developing an community by socialising, volunteering, friendships, civic pride, conserving nature, and appreciating one another’s differences,- Increased mutual understanding, cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue among partners.- A final result will be the strengthening of networks and influence of policy makers and interdisciplinary organisations, stakeholders.

While the right to work is a fundamental right enshrined in Article 27 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, it is far from being a reality for many people living with a disability or a long-term medical condition. The Europe 2020 strategy objective aims at reaching 75% employment rate in the EU. However, at EU level, about 47% of persons with disabilities are employed, compared to 72% of persons without disabilities. Women with disabilities, young disabled persons and people in need of high-level support are more likely to be discriminated against and excluded from the labour market. At the EU level, 19% of young people living with a disability are early school leavers compared to 11% of non-disabled young persons. The high rates of early school leavers among young people living with a disability can in most cases be related to accessibility issues and the absence of adapted programmes.Social entrepreneurship can act as an important bridge to inclusion for people on the margins of mainstream society. Online social entrepreneurship is an especially relevant area of endeavour for young people living with a disability or a long-term health condition. Sharing life experiences and demonstrating that living with a disability or a long-term health condition is possible; explaining how obstacles have been overcome; directing others to appropriate support services or networks; opening a forum for discussion and debate; connecting other young people in similar circumstances; are all potential social entrepreneurship opportunities that the INFLUENCER project consortium will explore.Technology provides opportunities to level the playing field for youth living with a disability or a long-term health condition like never before. It can support more equitable societies; more inclusive communities. It can help to build support networks for people of all ages who live with a disability or care for someone with a disability. It can help to demystify certain medical, physical or cognitive disabilities and create a more understanding and empathetic society. Partners believe that the areas where they work will be significantly impacted by the outcomes achieved by the INFLUENCER project. The key actions to achieve the aims of the project are:1. Developing an in-service training programme to introduce Best Practice Guidelines for youth providers on supporting the inclusion of young persons with disabilities through online social entrepreneurship while also guaranteeing their safety online2. Developing an EASY READ TOOLKIT for youth living with a disability on how to develop their social entrepreneurship idea into a sustainable entity. 3. Developing an EASY READ TOOLKIT for youth living with a disability on how to stay safe in online environments and a suite of media-rich resources to build digital and social media literacy.4. Developing an accessible, bespoke online environment to support the new young social entrepreneurs to launch their online careers where networks of youth living with a disability who are interested in developing their new social enterprise can congregate; build key skills; support each other; and exchange ideas and knowledge

Mitigating the impact of substance abuse has been at the centre of front-line youth work for many years. While much attention these days is focused on climate change, fake news and radicalisation, the drug problems that were front and central of youth policy and action in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, are still considerable today and front-line youth workers are expected to respond to these persistent problems with little in terms of training support to develop new methodologies for addressing the problems that are somewhat exacerbated by the social media habits of youth today. For the youth of today technology is ubiquitous. Over time technology has fused itself with learning, both in education and personal development. Smart phones, tablets and laptops are just some of the devices that are frequently used by a large proportion of the population of Europe, particularly young people. In 2016, 91% of young people in the EU made daily use of the internet. (Euro Stat). As countries increasingly move toward more relaxed drug laws, the role of educators and in particular front-line youth workers will become the main focus of public services who wish to prevent drug abuse. The VIDA project will develop and pilot a completely new type of drugs awareness training through the provision of innovative interactive inforgraphics addressing the 3 key themes of Problem Definition, Appropriate Response Actions and Prevalent Problems Today. 4 infographics will be developed for each thematic area resulting in a suite of 12 infographics each one focusing on a clear, succinct message. While these infographics will obviously have a direct impact as simple posters or images to display or share through social media, the real innovation of the VIDA project is that each of the 12 infographics will contain a QR code which leads directly to a fully interactive version with a range of different learning resources embedded as videos, audios, quizzes, puzzles, digital breakouts, WebQuests, etc. Each of the 12 interactive infographics will comprise a combination of at least 3 or 4 different learning resources that address the specific topic chosen. This will help to ensure that all learning styles can be catered for and that the learning outcomes can be reinforced throughout the learning experience. To support the implementation of these resources the project will also develop an In-service training programme for front-line youth workers to build their skills to develop interactive infographics; a Peer leadership programme to support a new cohort of peer leaders to harness the full potential of the interactive infographics developed and build their knowledge about the key themes being addressed; an Online interactive portal - VIDA MOOC that hosts all the learning materials developed and is accessed through QR code contained on the hard copy infographics developed.By the end of the project:- 12 interactive infographics addressing drugs awareness issues will be developed in 5 partner languages- 30 front-line youth workers will complete the pilot of the in-service training programme- 30 young people will complete the peer leadership programme- 250 young people will engage with the interactive infographics developed through the online portal provided

"CONTEXTIn some countries, sports practice is hardly ever considered an integral part of the school plan, but a sort of ""more or less"" subject in which you can relax, maybe play and, if necessary, you can do something else. Scientific studies confirm that sport is a very powerful ""medicine"", more than ever necessary in the healthy growth of adolescents engaged in studies because it is able to significantly improve their ability to concentrate, the level of attention, self-control. So who does regular sport, even intense, gets better results both at school and in tests that measure intellectual abilities.Numerous studies also show that physical activity levels tend to be low in Socially Disadvantaged Groups SDGs and that promoting physical activity in such groups can be difficult but important for their enhancement. Some schools are also challenged by poor student engagement, resulting in stand-downs, absenteeism, and anti-social behavior. Poor engagement leads to poor learning outcomes.A growing body of evidence indicates that sport is an effective way to engage students, that the values and characteristics of sport can be effectively transferred to classroom learning environments, and that quality PE and sport enhances school performance in other subject areas.Nevertheless, there is a tendency to see the sport, for some schools, as a nonfundamental or even extra-curricular activity, particularly in the secondary age group.According to this, there are declining levels of motivation in the teachers and participation of students in sport.OBJECTIVESThe overall objective of the PHASE ONE project is to strengthen schools’ capacities to design and carry out education-enhancing physical activity initiatives that target students, with special attention to Social Disadvantaged GroupsThe project aims also to develop, trial and evaluate approaches to improve educational and social outcomes through sport and the delivery of Physical Education (PE) and sports programs in the schoolsThe specific project objectives are:• The promotion of awareness of the importance of sport at school through better integration of PE into the school curricula• The professional growth of the teachers with specific attention to PE teachers• The exploitation of sport as a mean to improve the academic performance of all students and promote their social inclusion• The promotion of the importance of having an active and healthy lifestyleThe objectives will be pursued also through the help of Associated and Collaborating Partners of the projectCORE ACTIVITIES1.
