    "Our project aims at making our students aware of the richness of the European culture in all of its different aspects and, at the same time, at improving theirs and the teachers' digital competences.We decided to focus on the Cultural Digital Heritage, which, according to Unesco, is defined as “Cultural, educational, scientific and other kinds of information created digitally, or converted into digital form from existing analogue resources”.We aim at connecting it with the 21st century skills (communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking), raising awareness of the importance of Europe's cultural heritage through formal and non-formal education. Meanwhile, teachers will be granted more competence in the use of ICT, strengthening the profile of their profession.Some partners already worked on an eTwinning project on the same issue, and with this project we will have the chance to enlarge our scope and reach more people and institutions.We also aim at raising awareness of the importance of European citizenship, at supporting students' creativity, skills development, problem solving, while searching and thinking about creating a new digital product, and finally at improving students' and teachers' knowledge of different kinds of ICT tools.To achieve these goals we intend to use digital materials already available, but our main goal is to produce our own digital materials in the following areas: Children's Games, Natural History, Traditional Music and Dances, Drama, Traditional Festivals and Historical Heritage. All these materials will be collected in a series of e-books.Each school will specifically focus on one of the previous areas, and during the L/T/T activities these will be shared among partners and then disseminated in our countries (through conferences, meetings, Erasmus corners, etc.) and more importantly on the web (e-books, etc.). In this way we will be able to share information about European cultural heritage not only in our schools and in the surrounding areas, but in all the European Union and beyond.We will use an interdisciplinary method. This will enhance confidence in subjects that, when taught separately, may cause anxiety in students. They will learn about European History, Literature, Art, Music, and Nature.In order to let the students participate in the host country’s lifestyle and language, we also intend to teach the students some practical structures of the host country language.The different groups involved in the project are: pupils, teachers, school staff, families, people in the local communities, especially elderly people who preserve traditions, other schools in the area, local experts, local authorities and journalists. About 140 students will participate in the mobilities, and about 2,000 will be involved in the project. The other schools will be involved in the activities during the mobilities, mainly in order to disseminate the results of the project to a wider number of people. Journalists and local authorities will be involved to help the dissemination.Our project will include local activities, mobility activities and dissemination.The local activities have been devised to prepare students for the activities during the mobilities. They will include researches on the field; most of these materials will be produced using specific ICT tools; the results of these activities will be shared online mainly through eTwinning. The mobilities will be necessary to achieve all our objectives. Each mobility will deal with one of the specific aspects of European heritage mentioned before.The dissemination will start during each mobility through the involvement of different stakeholders, like families, older generations, local institutions, etc.; we will use posters, practical booklets, leaflets, the project website and the final e-books.The main concrete results will be: 1) a project website, containing all the activities and outputs of the project; 2) specific presentations of the cultural heritage topics; 3) A series of online and on site lessons on the same topics; 4) practical manual booklets on how to further develop the topics after the end of the project itself (""dissemination kit""); 5) a series of final e-books related to the project activities.The involved schools will benefit in several ways, and these benefits will last for several years. Apart from the benefits which are common to all Erasmus+ projects, we will also obtain an improvement of the educational offer, an improvement of the ICT skills, a strengthening in the knowledge of the European Cultural Heritage.Since it is obvious that we will be able to deal with a limited part of the potential Digital Heritage, our project will be open to further developments inside our schools but also in the wider school community. We also hope that our work will hopefully become part of the Unesco Digital Cultural Heritage and thus contribute to the development of European culture in the world."

    "Our ""Young European Entrepreneurs Schools "" ' project brings together 5 high schools located in France, Italy, Poland, Lithuania and Spain in order to join our efforts and to araise in our students the desire to create entreprises on European level and to facilitate their access to all information related to the world of business and entrepreneurship in these 5 countries. We want to accompany our future young entrepreneurs step-by-step to find business ideas and take advantage of their ideas. By bringing together general information on the labour market, trade and business creation in each of our respective countries, by bringing knowledge for a better understanding of cultural differences, we wish to share ideas of companies with our European partners and thus develop business ideas together. We will work on this project with our most vulnerable students in the technological and tertiary sectors in order to encourage them to be involved in their social and professional future; with those who spend their holidays in shopping malls because they have no other means to escape the greyness of suburban cities or the monotony of rural life. Throughout the project, each partner school will create a Mini Enterprise that could be turned into a real business in the future. All the results of the project activities will be commucated in a Brochure and a DVD entitled ""Young European Successful Entrepreneurs ' Handbook "" and via our Blogs and Main Website. Throughout the project, we will also develop a primer on Entrepreneurship, a Labour Market Study, a Prosperous Business Guide. We will also find original local products, promote them with commercials, and sell them. Mini-companies will confront their ideas and progress together. We will meet succesful entrepreneurs and interview them to share their experiences. We aim to make our students aware that entrepreneurs create new jobs, new sectors, new markets and the development of new technologies, thus guaranteeing the economic and social development of the country and, through such partnership, of Europe."

    Lyrics from Here, Music from Over There is a large-scale project combining literary creation, translation, setting to music, creation and reheasal of a show, a professional recording, and its dissemination during concerts. It is the result of the collaboration of three schools (from France, Lithuania and Romania) and it took place over 2 school years. The main objectives were to allow pupils to get involved in a collective and international artistic creation, to develop their imagination, their entreprising spirit, their feeling of belonging to the European community, their practice of foreign langages, their oral fluency and comfort on stage. The first year was dedicated to writing the lyrics in the French school during weekly songwriting workshops. These workshops were organised as after school activities, under the supervision of Papillon (a French singer songwriter) and Sebastien Polloni (a maths teacher, also a singer songwriter). 10 voluntary pupils took part in the workshop. They were selected according to their motivation and aptitudes at investing themselves in such a project. Alongside these workshops, the French pupils shared their productions with their Lithuanian and Romanian friends (selected according to the same criteria and in the same number) through a blog, emails and video conferences. The Lithuanian and Romanian pupils also worked at writing lyrics in their languages under the supervision of their teachers (Vita Mèleniene and Iuliana Irina Stefura). They also started to write music, while keeping their partners informed of the advances of their creations on the blog and the content-sharing platform. In April of this first year, the 30 pupils met in the Lithuanian school to prepare a show of songs (1 in French, 1 in Lithuanian, 1 in Romanian ) under the artistic supervision of Papillon. This 6 day residence then lead to 1 day of public rehearsal of the show, in the Lithuanian school attended by parents, teachers, members of staff, the school principal and local authorities. During the autumn of the second year, the 30 pupils met in Romania for a 6 day residence to rehearse the previous songs and create 3 more songs (one in each language) and one day of rehearsal and performance, attended by teachers, parents, members of staff, school principal,and local authorities. The project then entered its second phase: finalising a complete show which would be performed, sung, and completed by the a live drawing performance. In May of the second year, Lithuanian and Romanian students came to France for a 5-day residence with rehearsals of songs, finalization of arrangements, implementation of technical elements of video performance, work of staging during and in between songsA first concert took place in the amphitheater of the high school at the end of the 5th day of residence, in front of pupils and staffs. There followed two days of broadcasting for 3 concerts. 2 concerts were held at the Halle aux Grains in Brioude (for school day and evening public). The final show was held at the Cooperative de May, a concert hall in Clermont Ferrand, in partnership with the Sacem where an audience of 213 people was conquered by the show. The audience was varied: parents, families, simple listeners and the return of the professionals was dithyrambic ... Besides the pupils taking part in the transnational activities, around 2,000 people were be directly impacted by the dissemination of the project. It allowed each school to widen its outreach, and to have its aptitude at leading a large-scale international project recognised. The pupils from the three schools learnt about other European cultures through music as a common vector. This universal language will probably make them want to follow this collaboration or create new ones, thus developing their aptitudes to speak foreign languages, to become entreprising and creative, making each of them an active European citizen.

    The ACT project focuses on learning, teaching and using foreign languages and new technologies and being adequate about using digital competencies. It cannot be denied that it is compulsory to keep up with the innovations in the field of digital literacy in order to be able to use it in a positive way. It is very important for teachers to include the usage of ICT in their yearly plans and the syllabus.Through this project we aim to provide the participants with the motivation to learn and improve the level of a second language they have been taught and to familiarize themselves with the languages of the other participating countries. It is obvious that knowing a foreign language is the key skill to start communication and collaboration. Also we would like to provide opportunities to the participating institutions to be internationalised in their studies and to lead the students to success in life through achieving their dreams, being academically successful and efficient lifelong learners. Thanks to this collaboration, all the participating countries will be getting more used to looking through each other's perspectives, improving tolerance and empathy. We intend to provide students with hands-on learning environments which they could use to learn by themselves in the future. All the technology based tools will be promoted to be used for improving the language skills they have been learning and increasing motivation to learn foreign languages. The project plans to teach students how to discover their self-motivation and confidence and improve themselves through the activities related to learning languages and using digital tools. Using technology in the education in the world we live in is of utmost importance, as it is possible to reach the knowledge with just a single click. All schools agree that nowadays students lack key competences like communication skills, interpersonal skills, and wider ICT skills.All schools will address these deficiencies and will try to improve key competences of students and teachers alike, using English as the target language. Furthermore, the project will improve the quality of teaching and learning via training sessions and workshops with experts in these fields of knowledge. As educators, we believe that it has a crucial importance to keep up with technological changes, especially in the field of education which changes very rapidly in order to be an engaging and aspiring teacher. This project is a very good chance to learn and practice new skills, to make long lasting relationships with 6 different countries in Europe and Asia, to polish foreign language skills and to learn more about people with different backgrounds and religions.

    Context of the projectThe project arises from the impulse given in the Spanish center to the search for new forms of teaching. In particular, in the English area, the theater has been used during two courses as a way of creating communication situations and working other aspects of the language such as expression, pronunciation or non-verbal communication.For its part, the Lithuanian center has been working for many years successfully with theatrical performances, being a center of reference in the country, and not only in this area.This common interest in the theater, together with the possibility of combining it with the teaching of English and the opportunity to know a geographically distant country, was decisive for the formalization of the association.Goals;Proposed objectives:- To improve the linguistic competence in the learning of a foreign language (English) of the students through real communication situations designed by the teaching staff.- Use theatrical representation as a tool to improve linguistic competence, as a means of linking students from different countries, as a way of sharing cultural contents and as a generator of intra-group experiences.- Increase the awareness of cultural diversity (differences and similarities) between very different European spaces; In this case a southern urban environment with a rural - industrial north.- Promote the use of ICT as a tool for communication and teamwork.Number and profile of participating organizations;Only two centers participate in the project:Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, concerted center of Madrid that teaches the levels of 2nd cycle of EI, Elementary and ESO. It has two lines per course, bilingual teaching until 1st of ESO at the time of developing the project. Located in the Alto de Extremadura (Latina). He belongs to the Franciscan Educational Foundation of Montpellier (FEFMONT)Naujosios Akmenės Ramučių gimnazija, non-compulsory secondary school located in the town of Naujoji Akmené in the Siauliai region in the north of Lithuania. The center was created in the 90s with the merger of previous ones.Description of the main activities carried out;FIRST STAGEProject announcement: The project communicates to the educational community (parents, students, teachers) through meetings and brochures.Choice of logo: Student teams design and choose the project logo together.Bi-weekly contacts: Face-to-face contacts via Skype in which teams exchange information to make presentations about the country, geography, history, art, the city and daily life.Presentations: Presentations to teachers' cloisters.SECOND STAGE-Weekly contacts: The students selected for the exchange write small theatrical representations on the migrations, the equality of opportunities, of gender, the environment and the democracy.Preparation of exchange visits: Spanish students not selected for the exchange prepared information for cultural visits.THIRD STAGEStudent mobilities are carried out in which the works and planned visits are represented.Results and impact achieved;The objectives set by the project have been met and sometimes exceeded expectations. The impact achieved has been felt in:The students participating in the project, especially the one who had the opportunity to travel to Lithuania.Families who welcomed Lithuanian students into their homes, who were able to interact directly with them.The teachers and students of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart center, who had the opportunity to attend the theater performances and spend time with the Lithuanian students.The 3ºESO group of the Montpellier school in Madrid and some of their teachers, who were also presented the work created by Lithuanian and Spanish students.Finally there is a group difficult to quantify that also enjoyed the work when it was performed outdoors in Madrid (Parque del Retiro and Templo de Debod). We saw how many of them stopped to contemplate the show and even some were encouraged to participate in it. The teachers were able to inform the people who were interested in the show from the Erasmus + project.Long-term benefits, if any:It helps the implementation of theater as a pedagogical tool in the center.Improvement of audio systems in the center's auditorium.Creation of a collective awareness (among teachers, students and families) of the importance and benefits of language exchanges.Creation of a Department of Exchanges in the center to definitively implement linguistic exchanges in the different courses of secondary education.Coordination of future Erasmus+ projects
