We empower them by training as eco-literate and green entrepreneur so they can find green jobs. We can provide learning, teaching, training activities and internship opportunities to them so they have been employed in green start up companies and they gain skills to start their own green start up company. The project has brought together 6 partners from Slovenia (Ekonomska šola Novo mesto), Turkey (Nature Conservation Centre), Austria (Innovation Education Centre), Italy (CIAPE), Spain (UCAM) and Portugal (Rightchallenge), all of them related with youth, online-training, nature conservation, entrepreneurship and eco-literacy.<< Objectives >>The project focuses on increasing youth employment in the green business. Our first focus includes collecting data to present youth's knowledge, attitudes and habits and expectations regarding ecological literacy and green entrepreneurship. Moreover it also includes analysing and describing the green start up company by data collection from the selected institution through a survey and we will create a list of key topics like sustainability, waste management, packaging, water and energy conservation, carbon emission and finally we will prepare aguide as how to be eco-friendly or green start up company. The second focus is designing online training program. We will cultivate young people as eco-literate and green entrepreneur by online-training, mostly interactive video lessons with core learning modules. After the training they have a change to apply the internship program in green start up companies. The program provides that young people are able to see the trends, activities, and changes in green economy by interacting with supervisors on real job site. They can see how to contribute to human wellbeing, sustainability, biodiversity and eco-industries as well. The third focus is organising a competition for young people who are dreaming of green start up. According to a survey conducted by MonsterTRAK, young workers want employment with a green company: %80 of those surveyed said they are interested in a job that has a positive impact on the environment and a whopping %92 would chose working for an environmentally friendly company.<< Implementation >>Five main activities will be developed:1. A Guide: How To Be Green CompanyAnalysing youth's knowledge, attitudes and habits and expectations regarding ecological literacy and green entrepreneurship. Finding good examples and surveying key topics in ecoindustry would be useful tool to make the best decisions to address sustainable world.2. Online training: Eco-literate and green entrepreneur skills for young people integrationTraining young people to cultivate eco-literacy by creating learning modules; how does nature work, how does man impact the Earth's natural systems, sustainability and circular economy, green entrepreneurship, solutions for the future, entrepreneurial ideas to help restore Earth's natural systems.3. An Internship Program in Green CompaniesInternship is the best way to get a foothold in a career door young people may never get otherwise. They will complete a week internship and see fresh ideas, unique angles, the latest eco-industry developments and hands on help.4. Green Entrepreneurs CompetitionOrganising the competition to bring young green entrepreneurs to connect globally and receive support on turning their ideas into a tangible impact, with a focus on urgent issues like climate change, deforestation, waste management.5. At the same time, in today’s rapidly changing world, there are some key competences that children need in order to thrive at school (critical thinking, learning to learn, etc.), but don't actually practice every day in their lives; so, most kids will never really hone those skills. Experiential learning is the best paradigm of educational innovation and transferring of a non-formal learning method to formal education. More specifically, experiential learning is an educational philosophy that seeks to draw on students' experience to learn. It's basically the opposite of textbook-based learning. By taking things out of the classroom and bringing them into a real-life context instead, kids can actually learn the information they're being taught in school in a way that's more interesting and involves hands-on learning.Through our project we will cover the following needs:For teachers:- Initiatives that will facilitate their job: Through our suggested experiential activities, the students will be more concentrated and focused in the classroom, and they will diffuse their energy in the experiential activities and thus, they won’t be disruptive, facilitating the teachers’ job- New didactic methods that will make their lessons more attractive to students: With our project’s activities, the participating teachers will have the role of a “tutor” or “facilitator”, instead of the “lecturer” that many times loses his/her audience- Upskilling opportunities: The participating teachers will gain significant experience in experiential learning, and will be able to learn new pedagogical approaches that will accompany them for the rest of their professional life. They will also be the recipients of a knowledge transfer from educators specializing in non-formal education. For school principals:- New training approaches that will make the school more attractive to not only students and their parents, but also to teachers that seek an innovative workplace: After the completion of our project, the participating schools will have the opportunity to install new innovative approaches, pedagogical methods, and training initiatives that will bring something fresh to the school environment, attracting more students, parents, and teachers than before- Innovations which allow them to be characterized as a “model school” or help them to later claim the title of “experimental school”: After the completion of our project, the management of the participating schools, will have the appropriate tools to further develop them, in order to claim the title of “model” or “experimental” schoolFor High-school students, aged from 15 up to 18, including students with learning disabilities:-Motivation, in order to take a more active part in the learning process: By taking things out of the classroom and bringing them into a real-life context instead, the participating students will learn in a way that's more interesting and involves hands-on learning.-Being activated and learning always new things: With our activities, the students will get out of their comfort zone and take part in innovative training through games-Acquire key competences: Our project will improve their key competences with particular emphasis on critical thinking, learning to learn as well as civic competences, through their participation in experiential learning activities. This will also help them develop the soft skills that will be necessary not only for their secondary studies but also for their long run.-Feel comfortable in the school environment: With the suggested experiential activities, students with learning difficulties will be more active in learning, reducing the chances of early school leaving as well.<< Objectives >>Through our project we aim to:1. Increase awareness of experiential learning as a non-formal educational practice2. Test and implement experiential learning methods derived from non-formal education to formal school education3. Improve students’ key competences with particular emphasis on critical thinking, learning to learn as well as civic competences, through their participation in experiential learning activities4. Improve teachers’ skills and enhancing their practical experience through the usage of new pedagogy methods5. Transfer knowledge among school teachers with formal educational background and educators specializing in non-formal education<< Implementation >>During the project's lifespan we are going to implement:4 Transnational Meetings:During our project, 4 TPMs are going to be conducted in the most crucial months of the project. Each meeting is designed in order to cover the basic needs of the partners for:- Understanding the project and getting to know each other (kick-off meeting)- Design the PR1 (kick off meeting)- Design the PR2 and the LTTA (2nd TPM)- Design the PR3 (3rd TPM)- Learn the final tasks and activities in order for the project to close and design the Multiplier Events (Final Meeting)2 Multiplier Events:At the end of our project, the responsible partner for the dissemination will organize a big event in Estonia for the dissemination of the project’s results. In parallel, the partner that will host the LTTA will also organize an event in Poland in order to “spread the word”.1 LTTA:During the LTTA, each partner will send one trainer of non-formal education from inside their organizations to be trained upon experiential learning techniques that apply to formal education and, more specifically, to develop students' key competencies.2 Knowledge Transfer Trainings (one for Teachers and one for Students)We are going to implement two knowledge transferring training: one for peer teachers and one for the students. Upon their return, the LTTA’s trainees will be the trainers of school teachers that want to be educated in Experiential Learning. Thus, in each country, 5 school teachers should be trained (30 teachers in total). The training will last for 3 days, 4 hours per day. After having trained the school teachers for 3 days, the non-formal learning educators will also train high school 5 students as well (30 students in total), for 2 days, 4 hours per day. Among the 5 students per country, at least one of them (at least 6 students in total) will be learners with learning difficulties. The Learning material for both will be the theoretical and Methodological Framework (developed under IO1), the experiential learning activities (material developed under IO2), and the experience and knowledge acquired during the LTTA.<< Results >>Our project will produce 3 main results:A Theoretical and methodological framework of applying Experiential Learning in Formal Education, that will provide to teachers, new didactic methods that will make their lessons more attractive to students and Upskilling opportunities, since they will be able to learn new pedagogical approaches that will accompany them for the rest of their professional life. Also, we will equip schools with new training approaches that will make the school more attractive to not only students and their parents, but also to teachers that seek an innovative workplace and innovations which will allow them to be characterized as a “model school” or help them to later claim the title of “experimental school”. A Repository with Training Material and activities of Experiential Learning, which will empower the participating teachers to have the role of a “tutor” or “facilitator”, instead of the “lecturer” that many times loses his/her audience and will gain a significant experience in experiential learning, and will be able to learn new pedagogical approaches that will accompany them for the rest of their professional life. Knowledge Transfer on Teachers and Students, that we will motivate teachers and students, in order to take a more active part in the learning process. By taking things out of the classroom and bringing them into a real-life context instead. Also, they will get out of their comfort zone and take part in innovative training through games. We will also improve students’ key competences and make them feel comfortable in the school environment: With the suggested experiential activities, students with learning difficulties will be more active in learning, reducing the chances of early school leaving as well. Also, the students will be more concentrated and focused in the classroom, and they will diffuse their energy in the experiential activities and thus, they won’t be disruptive, facilitating the teachers’ job. Finally, teachers will be the recipients of knowledge transferring from educators specializing in non-formal education.

Our project will focus on the social, youth and economic dimensions of the ecological transformation set by the European Green Deal. Together with our partners, we have identified, in the planning phase of the project, the two most important specific areas within the scope of the horizontal priority ""environment and the fight against climate change"", which will form the axis of our project: - Green Three Seas for Youth - Youth for Green Three Seas - Green Labour Market - green skills for youthThe organizations involved in our project represent industrial regions that are most exposed to the potential effects of the unfairly carried out ecological transformation. Youth from these regions should be given a say in the direction of this transformation. Young people realize that this is the moment when they have the opportunity to create a place for their lives and work in the future. That is why we decided to establish a cooperative partnership that will bring together 10 youth work organizations based in the industrial centers of the Three Seas Initiative countries. The ""Green Three Seas for Youth"" project responds to the needs of youth, the needs of our organizations, local, national and international needs that we identified during the planning stage. The youth voice is still not strong enough in the public debate. Our project is a way to strengthen it. On the basis of youth recommendations, we will develop a ""Green Three Seas for Youth"" Strategy, which will be presented to decision-makers. The strategy will contribute to youth activization. We got in touch with the Youth Councils operating in the countries of our organizations, their members say clearly - the lack of expert strategic documents and analysis that are based on youth recommendations is one of the biggest obstacles to effective action and lobbying for youth demands. Our project also addresses the needs of youth to increase their employability. The first chapter of our Strategy will be the chapter ""Green Labour Market"". - this is an area of particular importance for young people who will have to find their way in the reality undergoing transformation. Within the framework of our project we meet the needs of young people who want to develop competencies that will allow them to find their place in the labour market of the future. We will create a workshop scenario that will help young people find their way in the green job market, develop their green competencies and prepare them to live and work in the societies of the future.<< Objectives >>The aim of the project is to strengthen cooperation within the Three Seas Initiative for climate, environment, sustainable development and the European Green Deal. Building a strong partnership of organizations and institutions for the climate will contribute to increasing the Initiative's potential by increasing social capital within participating organizations, associate partners and third parties that will be affected by the project through dissemination events and a social campaign. The project also aims to increase the role of young people in the public debate by basing the main result of the project, the Green Three Seas Strategy for Young People, on the recommendations of young people. We will raise the competences of young people, thus increasing their employability in the changing reality of the Green Deal. The preparation, implementation and popularization of the ""Green Labor Market - Green Competences"" workshops, which will become an integral part of the local activities of our organizations, will implement our goal in the field of sectoral priorities: Promoting active citizenship, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship of young people, and Empowering young people for employment. Conducting such workshops in the areas of activity of our organizations - industrial areas, will have tangible effects in the form of supporting young people in making career path choices, by educating and raising environmental awareness and related knowledge about the effects of climate change, as well as the effects of activities aimed at their retention on the economy and the labor market. In the first place, it is a workshop work with the use of non-formal education methods conducted with the use of modern digital means of distance communication. This method will be used to carry out activities aimed at developing the results of the project. At the same time, 10 stationary international meetings will be held, which will aim to get to know each other better, evaluate the activities on a current basis, manage the project and set project goals for the next stages As part of the project, we also plan to carry out a blended mobility activity, which aims to test workshops in the field of green competences and green jobs prepared earlier by young people. 20 participants from groups at risk of social exclusion will take part in the exchange. At the end of the project, we are planning a wide-ranging online social campaign and a series of 10 national dissemination meetings with decision-makers..<< Results >>The first result of the project will be the ""Green Three Seas for Young"" strategy. The document will consist of the following parts: Chapter I: The Green Labor Market Chapter II: Just Transition Chapter III: Inclusive climate policies Chapter IV: Ecological education The strategy aims to collect demands and recommendations of young people from industrial regions who will be affected by deep reforms under the European Green Deal. Young people are aware that these changes relate primarily to their future, therefore they would like to comment on the topic and involve them in the transformation process. The strategy will be preceded by an online survey in which 10,000 young people will take part. The second result will be scenarios of workshops on the green labor market and green competences. Again, the youth saw that traditional professions in their regions, such as mining, metallurgy and heavy industry, would be deeply reformed. Youngpeople understand the need for change, therefore they want to better prepare themselves and their peers for the new times. A separate result will be an extensive information campaign promoting both the European Green Deal and the ""Green Three Seas for Young"" strategy. The campaign will reach 100,000 online audiences and 200 audiences attending national dissemination events. Policy makers will be invited to the national meetings and will be officially presented with the strategy for inclusion in local policy. More than the above, thanks to the implementation, young people: - will acquire the competence to create international campaigns to disseminate the results and products of the project, - They will acquire competence in conducting surveys, street probes and then analyzing their results and their presentation, - increase their competences in cooperation with international organizations, - will expand their language competences, - learn to manage international projects, - will raise digital competences, - learn how to work effectively in international (multicultural) groups, - learn the basics of running a social campaign, - they will gain self-confidence, - learn design thinking, - will gain the ability to work in a group and build relationships in a team, - will develop creative thinking, - will develop knowledge of the English language, - will gain communication and self-presentation skills, - learn to plan activities effectively to achieve their goals, - gain new, valuable international contacts, - They will learn how to create a strategy, - They will learn the principles of the European Green Deal, - They will be given the opportunity to comment on topics important from the point of view of young people.
