Jana BrzechwyFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2016-1-TR01-KA201-034306Funder Contribution: 142,750 EURUpon starting the project, its objectives were carefully studied by the team of teachers from all partners. Therefore, our goal was to accomplish the project objectives. Through the activities which we carried out we contributed to the development of our institution and of our teachers’ expertise, as well as to the improvement of our students’ skills. According to the project, the objectives established by collaborating with our partners were: acknowledging and preserving the rich heritage belonging to a composite culture (museums, cultural directorates and institutions); protecting and improving the environment, including forests, lakes, rivers and the wild life; encouraging compassion for living creatures (environment centres, NGOs); developing an inclination towards science, humanities, research and reform initiatives. In order to achieve institutional developments of all partners, all partners collaborated with local and regional qualified institutions so as to highlight the particularities of the regional nature and culture through educational activities. We successfully collaborated with institutions such as museums and universities and NGOs..We closely observed the way in which our project partners collaborated with partners from their own regions and we successfully exchanged good practices when organising activities within mobilities. The teachers of projects who took part in the project managed to successfully attain its objectives, put effort in order to carry out the activities in an adequate manner, found ways to develop and apply innovative practices, accomplished their own activities focused on research and on the thorough study of topics related to culture, science or environment protection. Five teachers from partner schools who took part in the training session in Greece have applied the practical abilities acquired there upon their return to our school; in addition, they themselves organised a range of extracurricular activities where they put into practice the knowledge acquired during the transnational experience. The pupils of the schools were strongly motivated by the anticipation of taking part in extracurricular activities in an international context, as well as of accomplishing an educational journey abroad. They have enthusiastically participated in all activities, collaborated with their teachers and, at the end of their activities, they attained a wider perspective on the necessity of preserving their natural and cultural environment. Socialising with the pupils from the partner countries and the experience exchange have led to the improvement of the school life and to the formation of a wider perspective on the quality of education within all partner schools; furthermore, it led to the formation of opinions regarding European educational standards, which are essential for their future.

In the researches, it has been determined that acts of violence extend to schools for similar reasons and this is a problem that requires immediate action. The fact that a child dies every half an hour as a result of different violent acts worldwide has been the main factor that unites us. However, let's not forget that these little brains who are exposed to violence and tend to be violent will rule this world in the future. We should declare mobilization in the national and international arena by joining hands as state institutions, educators and families. Our students, who tend to be violent and exemplified in our partner schools, will take an active role in our project studies, which will draw attention to this universal problem, which is very busy with the current global education system and prepared emergency action plans. Our students will present 5 different contemporary art applications such as songs, drama, collage, graffiti and avant-garde make-up in the field of ""art therapy"" internationally in order to raise awareness of violence. These students who are exposed to violence and tend to be violent will realize that they are a member of the society in which they exist and will create an extraordinary awareness in the social platform and related literature in their artistic performances. Italy, Slovakia, France, Portugal and Turkey will run ""I am 'more' than what you see"" project. The project will include 7 mobilities in total, including 5 student mobilities and 2 staff trainings. Related artistic activities will take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th days of the mobility. On the 5th day of our project, a presentation of artistic performances will be held publicly in the predetermined area of the host country. With our project, we will have concrete outputs such as 5-song music album, 6 m2 collage and graffiti work, drama video, avant-garde make-up catalog in 5 different arts listed above, and these will impose a multi-national solution mission to our project on intra-school violence and early school dropout. Our project will contribute to the awareness of the participants in 5 different foreign languages. In this way, our project will gain a transnational dimension for language acquisition. Our project will have a different meaning at the EU level in terms of communication with universities, non-governmental organizations, local and national media organizations. Our project consists of students aged 14-18. In the ""short-term exchange of student groups"", 2 teachers and 5 students will participate. LTTs with student participation will take 5 days. Participant staff trainings will be held in Portugal at the beginning of the project and in France at the end. Two teachers from each school will participate in these mobilities. Our main goals in these activities are;-To raise awareness with 5 different artistic good practices in school violence and early school dropout.-To develop the artistic and language skills of the participants.-To disseminate the culture of tolerance and democracy of the participants in the European axis.Immigrant / refugee students who have a strong artistic aspect and have a violent tendency to be rehabilitated, who are exposed to violence, have social and psychological problems, will also be preferred in local activities and in the mobility by providing necessary legal conditions. Each partner school is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and also implementing the action plan set. The project contact person at each school is responsible for his own school.Schools will be in constant communication and exchange information with video conferences, eTwinning, Twinspace, facebook, project web page, email, skype and WhatsApp. It will be our most important domain to spread all the activities and products in our project with the project corner, project website, interviews, media information, photo exhibitions, surveys and video conferences. There will also be social events such as the project opening ceremony and visits to historical sites to increase intercultural interaction. Surveys, brochures and posters to be applied will increase the effectiveness of our project. Our project also has the potential to make a local, national and European voice for partner schools and the target audience. Our project will have important results in the field of social psychology. Students, teachers, local institutions, local media and local people who will meet at 5 different national and international artistic performances will make an important contribution to the development of the ""no to violence"" theme in the European dimension."

Art is a way of expression, a way of joy, a way of making people understand things which can’t be done verbally. In fact, we can say that everything that is beautiful is art.Art is everywhere around us, and not just present in the museums and galleries.Every culture is associated with art.Art facilitates the preservation of culture. With the help of art, we’re able to learn the past culture and heritage of societies and facilitate future generations with the same.Art makes people optimistic about their future. Art can be used to help spread a message of inspiration, making people achieve great things in life. Art can be a form of communication between people, to focus on common issues for the betterment of humankind. We have a bad year world-wide because of the pandemic and we we need to be optimistic and we need to communicate each other. We need to make our art lessons effective again. While doing this we want to make our art students more equipped with necessary basic skills and we want to increase their key competences with creative and imaginative art activities. With our project we will use open learning opportunities and distance learning. Thus with our project 'Art rallies together internationally with students and teachers' we want to turn the disadvantages of this pandemic to an advantage for arts.Arts students don't need school walls to learn. If they need, it is for painting. We carefully selected our partners. Each acticity is specific and common for the selected countries. The participants will experience different art activities in each mobility. They will make Gilding Techniques in our mobility,Pencil-Drawing in Italy, Photograpy and Video shooting activities in Poland (Gdansk). We chose this partner from our country because they are experienced with Erasmus projects but we aren't.This is our first attempt. So if our project is funded they will help with the details and the organisation point. We will make Gothic art in Croatia, Marbling-Art (Ebru) in Turkey, Perspective drawing in Spain,Oil-Painting in Sweden.Six of the partners are schools and one is an art gallery. We want to cooperate with this galery because there are great artists and they will join the mobilities. It is very important for participaters' acquisition of key competences and basic art skills. Each school will work together with the art galleries in their cities as well. This is very important for sectoral cooperation and dissemination of the project results. Each mobility will last five days. And the partners will join the mobilities with at least four students and two teachers.Partners will choose the students according to their interests ,skills, behaviours, future targets and socio-economic situations. We want to add the disadvantaged students to the mobilities and school art works thus the social inclusion target can be fulfilled. One of the accompanying teachers will be an art teacher and the other will be an English teacher for a good communication. Before the mobilities, international online art lessons will be organised among the partners for preparation. Thus the participants will benefit distance learning effectively.During the mobilities the participants will practice with experienced teachers and painters. Thus learning by doing method will be used.We know that this is crucial for art education. The Objectives of the Project-showing the richness of the European art culture-increasing the students' artistic experiences and self confidence-giving participants a chance of interacting with different art cultures and make them more equipped-encouraging and motivating students to use arts as means of social, cultural, economic, political and historical knowledge of their own country, as well as of the partner countries-developing the language and artistic skills through practice-using open place and distance learning internationally-developing creativity, communication and promoting teamwork through international activities in order to stop the phenomenon of discrimination-creating some products: banners, drawings, paintings, posters, exhibitions, videos, short film, photos, photo album,interviews,questionnaires,surveys,booklets-the diversification of art teaching-learning methods through a practical-experimental,active-interactive approach in order to modernize the teaching/learning/evaluation process-the creation of facebook/instagram/youtube/twitter accounts of the project. In long term, the participants of this project will be more equipped on arts, more informed about other art cultures and thus more creative.

For many years people have to meet World Peace Day in the dark environment bringing pain, tears, brutality and destruction. Although wars always have a winner, the humanity loses at the end. With the ending of many human lives, there are crying women and children left . These thoughts are the starting point of our project .When the history of human beings is examined, we have witnessed that the most beautiful days and periods always lived in peace periods. In fact, the greatest wars are our human egos we can not bear and our own selfishness. However, it is already time for us to act as educational neighbors to reconstruct a habitable world we long for. Perhaps in the coming centuries there will be no country borders, perhaps the greatest crime will be discrimination and war cry. On the basis of these statements, thanks to this project our aim is contribute to the world peace with art events and universal visual expressions that symbolize world peace by painting from the hands of different country participants with the slogan ‘ No to all kinds of violence – war ‘ . We have already come to the point where we find our partners in chaos, confusion, violence, war, which is a common problem in almost every part of the world. We will have a large-scale (10-15 m²) paintings, which will be prepared in four acts in each mobility, in the form of works of peace, in the form of mixed and even numbered working groups determined beforehand by participants, and to attract international attention to the project by attracting public attention with the exhibitions in each country . In visual applications, the cultural and artistic colors of the whole world, including the priority participating countries, will be included.Event images will be posted on the participants' local and national media. The slogans prepared in different languages will contribute to foreign language awareness of the participants. In this way, our project will gain the transnational dimension . Our project consists of students in the 14-18 age group. 2 teachers and 5 students will participate in the ""short-term exchange of student groups"". Portugal will attend the project with 1 teacher and 4 students. His ""student group"" will last 7 days. Meetings will be held twice during the project, at the beginning in Turkey and at the end in Lituania. Two teachers from each school will join this movement. Our project includes seven mobilities in total. It is a social and psychological study. Partner schools will work to make projects for immigrants, refugees, eligible and disabled students. Every partner is responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluating specific action plans. School's contact person is responsible for his/her school. Turkey's(Trabzon) IMKB Vocational and Technical High School is the project coordinator. Schools will constantly communicate and exchange information with video conferences, eTwinning, facebook, project web page, email and WhatsApp.The most important concrete outputs will be the large-scale pictures to be made during the implementation phase of the project, all the activities included in the project (preparing the school journal / publishing online, preparing the project web page, organizing photo exhibitions, making surveys, making video conferences, preparing project DVDs).In addition, booklet preparation, sketch designs of works to be created, project advertisement film preparation, seminar arrangement and visit to culture / art spaces.Applied surveys, brochures, circulars and posters will enhance the effectiveness of your project. Our project also has the potential to bring local, national and European voice to partner schools and the target audience. Our project will have important results in the field of social psychology. All these results will make an important contribution to the development of the European dimension on the national and international scale of democracy, arts and multiculturalism, as well as on the students, teachers, local institutions and universities."
