Moreover, important elements of the project were linking up education to a real environment, and teamwork at school and international level. The vast majority of activities were focused on group and collective learning in different environments, so the number of pupils involved was high. The project was going on two levels, school and international. The school part of the project was based on regularity, everyday activities, pupil's own motivation and participation calls. The project consisted of a number of sub-activities that ran continuously throughout the school year and were presented on the project website. These activities included class projects focusing on natural sciences and ICT subjects, lectures, discussions, as well as exhibitions and excursions to museums and science centers. The second level was represented by cooperation with our partner schools. Each partner school chose one topic from STEM. The school together with the local community prepared a five-day conference programme on the topic. The programme included workshops, discussions, competitions, exhibitions, cultural events, museum visits, meetings with experts, etc. The project focused not only on cognitive educational goals, but also on affective and social ones. Pupils learned to use their abilities, skills and knowledge, to find creative solutions and to create a positive relationship and motivation to study natural sciences and technical subjects. Pupils also learned to present results of their work both in the school environment and at international events. Thanks to the project, pupils also developed their cooperative and communication skills and met pupils from other European countries and learned mutual respect.

We want to make them realize that even if human migration could have been a source of conflict at the beginning, it has eventually enriched peoples and enabled humanity to grow by sharing. When we chose European partners, we wanted to explore countries that also had migration problems. On the other hand, the French agency encourages schools that have already had experience in Erasmus projects to support new schools from the same country to participate in this European program. Therefore, we have looked for, and found, a school which is far enough from our region so that their perception of migration is different from ours. The project is structured around four periods, each of them will provide an element that will be presented during the final show. The first period should allow us to explore our origins: where does my family, my schoolmates come from? Students will tell this in the form of a slideshow and / or video. During the first meeting, students from the four delegations will collect and select the most relevant documents to create a production that will be shown during the final meeting. The second period will be devoted to the legacy of migration: cooking recipes, folk songs, music, sports, etc. For this stage, each national team will list these riches from abroad. The pooling during the second meeting should allow students to write the questions that will be used in the Quiz staged in the manner of ""Burger Quiz"" during the final show. The third period will deal with the reception given to migrant populations, how they have adapted / integrated. Thanks to the testimonies of relatives and / or migrants, the students will list the different situations experienced today and in the past. During the meeting on this theme, the students will have to perform a choreography in which the body language will reflect the feelings of the migrants and of the welcoming population. The soundtrack will be produced with words / expressions said in a wide range of foreign languages: the students will have to record these sound samples during interviews they will make during their research work. The last period will be mainly devoted to the preparation of the final show: rehearsals of the choreography, writing of a song summarising the project (each partner will be in charge of writing a stanza), writing of the script of the show, setting of the Quiz scene, creation of posters,…We hope that the awareness of the problems brought about by migration will allow us to organise in our respective schools actions such as a ""migration week"" for example. This week could be an opportunity for students to present and highlight a part of the legacy of their families’ migration or to highlight cultural contributions from elsewhere that we enjoy today. We could ask the school cafeterias to offer menus of foreign origins for this week. The long-term goal is, of course, the acceptance of the others while respecting their origins and their history in a spirit of brotherhood."

We want to encourage innovations and finally to promote the spirit of collaboration and tolerance of diversity. Throughtout this project, different innovative methods and activities will be adopted like regular evaluation sessions, fieldworks and visits to places related to the project, regular presentations to the town authorities, school management and local community, publishing news on the project in the press, creation of a webpage, questionnaires for participants, email exchanges, filling up self – evaluation forms, multimedia presentations, educational films, lesson plans, lectures, research and acquainting students with power plants while building their educational models. Moreover, thanks to virtual and real mobilities, student exchanges and transnational meetings, online communication and social media all the participants will learn to overcome cultural, social and mental barriers between European citizens. Both teachers and students will not only improve their language skills but also work on the ability to deal with difficult situations in terms of human relationships. It is worth mentioning that all the activities are complementary to school curricula in each partnering country. Among the positive effects of the project getting to know cultural aspects and promoting each participating country can be mentioned. Thanks to such activities we have a chance to educate modern sophisticated citizens of Europe who are self-confident and open-minded and respect others. Thus it can be said that not only key competences are to be improved but also personal and social ones as well. There are five countries involved in the project are approximately 100 will be involved directly in all project mobilities which means a greater number in case of dissemination on local and regional levels. Apart from already mentioned effects several others can be listed: increasing the quality of what the school has to offer to potential students and the improvement of school curriculum what will bring positive effects even after the project is over. The teachers will become more motivated to incorporate new methods and techniques into their everyday work and the students will see maths and science as interesting subjects. Finally, schools will be promoted on international level along with EU programs."

BAGOLINO from Alcamo (Italy), Primary School No. 12 from Drama (Greece) and Osnovna skola Josip Pupacic from Omis (Croatia). We plan activities in which all students and teachers of our schools will be direct participants (mobility and work in project clubs) and indirect participants (dissemination activities, workshops in schools, lessons, etc.). We also plan dissemination activities for parents and local communities. Through dissemination activities (website, Facebook, eTewinning) we will also reach other people related to education in the EU. The main topic of the project is astronomy and all activities will be related to this issue. We plan to divide two years of work into three stages - past, present and future in astronomy. The past is to familiarize all participants of the partnership with the astronomical achievements of ancient Greeks, Sumerians and Egyptians, Copernicus, Galileo and Hevelius, to acquaint with legends about the stories of the creation of the space, the world and stars. All these activities are aimed at comparing the common cultural heritage of Europe and determining the differences and similarities between individual countries and their history in the field of astronomy. The present will focus not only on ongoing sky observation, trips to observatories and planetariums, but also workshop work and expanding participants' knowledge of the solar system, planets and the most interesting stars visible in the sky. Our students will improve their sky photography skills and learn modern technologies that allow people to travel to the moon, to space stations and build satellites. By participating in the Moon photo competition and building models of existing spacecraft, we would like to draw attention to modern technology, the beauty of the sky above our heads and encourage young people to acquire skills that are not usually studied in schools (photography, observations, sky maps, star recognition in the sky, design). The future means working on a vision of life in space presented in literature and film. We will learn about the possibilities of modern technology and man in the field of life on Mars or a space station, see visions of the future in science-fiction films, and create our own space station composed of models prepared by all project participants. The goal of this stage is to encourage our students to take actions to develop creativity and expand astronomical skills in the later stages of education. All activities will be conducted through workshops, joint online or real-time meetings, chats and joint creation of documents and project presentations. All activities will end with the creation of hard results, i.e. a dictionary of astronomical terms in the languages of the project, models of the solar system, space ships, habitats on Mars, a set of legends and stories about the creation of the space, a photo album of the Moon, presentations about partner countries, quizzes, games and competitions on topics whch are not only design, but also EU countries, presentations and videos on discoveries, known astronomers and space. All these studies and works will be used in the future in science, geography, technology, physics, literature and English lessons and will be disseminated to all interested parties. Soft results include improving knowledge of English as the working language of the project, increasing student integration through joint workshop work on the project, expanding knowledge of EU countries, its cultural heritage and human capabilities in space exploration, expanding astronomical knowledge among school students basic and encouraging them to acquire qualifications in this field at future stages of education, increasing self-esteem through independent trips and contacts with students from other countries and sensitizing all project participants to cultural diversity, the need for integration and a sense of belonging to a common group which is the European Union ."
