We will wonder how the handicap, gender equality, multiculturalism and newcomers (or migrants) are being tackled with and represented in our European society. This question will be dealt with in three parts:- Explain (who are we); explain the themes (what is ...)- Questioning and analysis of each themes (what is at stakes?)- Proposing solutions to the issues identified. The main objectives are: opening doors to Europe for students facing economic and social obstacles, the inclusion of pupils with special needs, ensuring that our students acquire linguistic, citizen and civic skills and exchanging teaching practices among teachers. These objectives will have a positive impact on all pupils and teachers directly and indirectly involved in the project through innovative practices, project pedagogy and cross-disciplinary. Parents of students will be positively affected by the project. Through dissemination, our schools will make the results of the project visible and associate their image with that of Europe. This project, for pupils between 11 and 15 years old, will take place over two years, from September 2019 to June 2021 and will gather the Jules Lagneau College (France), Gymnasio Komotinis (Greece), Instituto Comprensivo G. Pierluigi (Italy), Vilniaus Balsiu progimnazija (Lithuania) and Scoala gimnaziala Nicolae Titulescu (Romania) around the theme of differences. The language of exchange and work is French and the disciplines involved in the project are: languages (French, Greek, Italian, Lithuanian, Romanian), history, science, mathematics and art.According to the school context and its specific characteristics, each school is responsible for a theme:- France: the handicap- Greece: multiculturalism- Italy: common cultural heritage- Lithuania: equality between girls and boys- Romania: migrationsFive learning activities are planned:- 12/2019: in France- 03/2020: Romania- 05/2020: Greece- 11/2020: Italy- 05/2021: LithuaniaDuring each learning activity, each school will involve 6-7 students and 2 accompanying adults, totaling 24-28 students and 8 accompanying adults per learning activity. Before the week of learning, students will work on the subject (explanation, investigation). During the week, they will present their results, exchange among themselves and make common proposals. They will visit a place related to the theme, they will be initiated into the language of the country hosting the learning week and discover other cultures and educational systems. All productions will be posted on the eTwinning platform and will constitute the multimedia manifesto written by our young European pupils and a link between secondary school and high school.

PIERLUIGIFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2017-1-RO01-KA219-037353Funder Contribution: 99,130 EURThe VERT project was an interdisciplinary project, which allowed students from Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Portugal to work on different areas of key European competences, especially on scientific skills, integrating a learning based on the resolution of problems and encouraging an innovative approach to teaching in the world of new technologies. The activities of our project aimed at a multi-disciplinary approach on the theme of global warming, connecting all fields of learning, in particular sciences, geography, history and civic education to make students understand the phenomena climate change and make them aware of the consequences of their behavior on them. Our students were involved in a process of investigation, analysis, experimentation, observation and documentary research on the theme of the project - climate change and its consequences on the life of the Earth, thus creating the conditions of a correct decision-making of our students, the future adult decision makers, on the steps and the solutions to fight against this problem which threatens our life. At the same time, by exploring an area of news that concerns us all - CLIMATE CHANGE, the VERT project offered teachers a reflection and exchange of practices on the methodology to be used and the type of activities to be implemented. to develop basic skills in their students, with particular emphasis on science skills. The common challenges of the partner institutions in this project have been to improve their science teaching methodology, to increase students' motivation for studying science, and to help students address this topic at the European level because that climate change affects the whole world. The project has put forward a pedagogy based on questioning, documentary study, experimentation and debate and it has allowed the passage of a teaching that privileges the transmissive mode to a teaching whose approach favors a student questioning on the real world (observation, investigation, action) and practical action, discovery, contact with specialists. The learning was based on the experiences and experiences of the participants. Throughout the project, the partners worked on these 4 areas of interest that allowed the gradual construction of the knowledge and attitudes of our students:- make students understand what the climate is;- analyze causes of climate change;- analyze the effects of climate change;-To encourage students to act in favor of the environment. The activities carried out allowed a journey through time, inspired by the past recorded, current scientific data and future predictive data and a gradual appropriation, by the pupils, of scientific concepts, the acquisition of knowledge and know-how and the setting in dialogue of several school subjects to facilitate the understanding of this complex subject of study, the climate change ,, in order to understand the climatic phenomena and to be aware of the consequences of the behaviors of each one on these and on the health of our planet. The activities carried out in this European partnership have enabled students to become aware, at local and European level, of the evolution of their environment over a period of 200 years (1917/2017/2117) and to consider the future. according to various scenarios: an optimistic scenario with a 2 ° increase in temperature and a pessimistic scenario with a 5 ° C increase in temperature. As the project unfolded, students discovered their own region with respect to the climate: type of climate, causes and consequences of climate change, and realized that it is very important to protect the climate. the environment and that we must act effectively to stop the destruction of the planet. Through the activities carried out, guided by the 6 logbooks and other didactic tools designed in the project, the students were able to go beyond the textbooks and they were able to explore data, knowledge and experiences on warming up. climate change, directly and immediately. By interacting with their European colleagues, they became aware of the universality of this problem and the need to act for the sake of saving the environment. In addition, this project encouraged students to become involved in eco-responsible actions, taking individual and collective responsibility for preserving the planet's resources.

One of these priorities is to take care of own patrimony.By studying it we can discover diversity and we can initiate an intercultural dialogue about the things we have in common. Therefore, the students will learn to work in a multicultural environment, build team work skills, do research and explore. The project will also give them the opportunity to establish links at school level, community level, regional, national European and international level. In our project, we will develop the transferable competences (competences for the Europass CV) and the personal skills of the students: good communication skills, team spirit, initiative spirit, flexibility, ability to solve problems, computer skills. The club-based learning method suggested in this project will contribute to the social inclusion of pupils, reducing the phenomenon of school drop-out and discrimination.A strategic objective of the project is to develop the key competences of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.During the project activities, language adaptation will take place at different levels of understanding, especially for people with special needs who will use media support. The new technologies will improve students’ quality of life, implicitly, of people with special educational needs. The results to be produced are multiple and will be a valuable source of good practices examples and interactive materials that can be used to promote the European values. All schools in the project agreed to use well known platforms to increase the visibility of our project. Each school in the project will create a profile on the eTwinning platform. They will also upload the project products on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform. All schools will share the final version of the eTwinning project page and Erasmus+ Project Results Platform, on their own school sites and on social media channels. Each partner will ensure the transparency of the selection, the principle of equal opportunities will be respected and conflicts of interest will be avoided. The activity within the clubs will be based on peer-to-peer learning. This international collaboration is expected to have a positive impact and bring satisfaction to all participating organizations, students, teachers, parents, stakeholders and local authorities, no matter if they are directly or indirectly linked to the projects’ activities.Strengthening schools’ European dimension and improving their image locally, improving teachers’ social and organizational competences which contributre to their professional development, arising students’ interest in other European countries and their cultures, developing a more positive attitude of parents toward school and toward European values, fostering closer ties with local authorities, cultural institutions and companies shows the positive impact that the project will have on all parts involved. Throughout the project students, teachers and community members involved will become more aware of their own national heritage and identity and will understand how their country fits in with the European Union as a whole. The visual aids created by the students will be used for various out of class activities designed to heighten the awareness of local heritage among community members. In this way, the students will help educate many people outside the school about the importance of keeping knowledge of each other alive. That's how they will present active citizenship participation."
