ICT is a general term that refers to all kinds of technologies that allows users to access and manipulate information. Education is one of the fields ICT is frequently used and the usage of ICT in kindergartens has been increasing over the years.ICT can be a great tool to enrich learning activities in all subjects. Using different digital tools effectively in educational activities supports the child development and especially the STEAM skills. It is well known that using ICT tools effects child development in positive ways, but there is a challenge in how to get all teachers to use it.Because of that shared challenge, six kindergartens in Europe have come together to create a booklet that introduces the benefits of ICT usage in kindergarten and its benefits on children STEAM skills development. The booklet contains guides of what and how to use, simple games that can be adjusted depending on children age group and so on. This is why we named the project “ICT like 1, 2, 3” because we want ICT to be an integrated part of the education in our kindergartens and we want it to be easy for teachers to start using the new technologies. The project activities are structured to support the achievement of results. All participating kindergartens are actively using ICT in their organizations. Some of them use it more widely and some of them more specifically. Not every kindergarten have the same equipment. The six learning-training activities are planned in a way that all participants will see and learn something new in the field of using ICT in kindergarten. Through these activities, best practices will be shared and a booklet containing information and games for teachers starting using ICT will be put together. In order to increase the use of ICT by teachers in the organization, we want to offer them digital competence. This is done by sharing the experience gained from the learning and training activities aboard within the organization and measured by conducting a survey at the beginning, middle and end of the project. We all share a knowledge that using digital tools is important part in high quality early childhood education. In order to achieve a high level of ICT use in teaching, it is necessary to increase teachers' digital competences and skills to use these tools. Our differences in curricula, learning environments and past experiences will make our team stronger and the booklet we are creating more universal to use for all teachers around the Europe. In addition to the booklet we are creating an open twinspace and a facebook page to share our experience and new knowledge with all the kindergarten teachers interested in the field of ICT usage in early childhood education. The project involves the following kindergartens: Vretec Galjeciva – Slovenia, Kværnerdalen Barnehage – Norway, Taru Lasteaed Hellik, Estonia, Dobeles pirmsskolas izglītības iestāde ""Spodrītis"" – Lativa, Tallinna Lasteaed Pääsusilm, Estonia and Solheimslien Barnehage- Norway –"

Another goal is the creation of a learning platform for digital learning spaces dedicated to elementary education and professional training of educators, taking into account didactic considerations.<< Implementation >>During our partner meetings, we will do an exchange and obtain information about the digital agenda of the EU. Our joint activities will allow us to process our experiences with digital tools / media didactically and through peer learning. The results will be published on the learning platforms installed on the websites of our partner institutions, communicated on the social media, and shared with educators and social workers directly.<< Results >>We expect an expansion of the digital competences of our project participants. We would also like to publish a didactically validated set of digital tools intended for elementary education and vocational training on a learning platform. Dealing with the digital agenda of the EU should strengthen the European identity of the participants and contribute to the dissemination of European visions.
