    SUPPORTER advances inclusive gender+ equality within the ERA. It supports institutions to develop intersectional, innovative, inclusive and impactful gender equality plans (4I-GEPs), tailored to sports higher education institutions, and explicitly addressing gender-based violence including sexual harassment (GBV). Building on state-of the-art knowledge and the expertise of advanced gender+ equality institutions, SUPPORTER co-creates an innovative capacity-building and mutual learning programme, delivering support and mentoring towards the development of the 4I-GEPs. Guided by inclusive and innovative epistemologies and co-creative methodologies SUPPORTER acts: -horizontally, by fostering institutional capacity and culture based on the principles of Diversity & Inclusion within an intersectional framework, ultimately enhancing the sports institutions’ reputation, attractiveness, inclusiveness and research excellence; -vertically, by triggering a transformative, institutional inclusive and sustainable change to sports institutions to address inequality-driven challenges and advance gender+ equality, focusing on GBV, thus also enhancing the institutions’ efforts towards meeting their gender+ equality objectives in the ERA context. To achieve these objectives SUPPORTER adopts a twinning-inspired approach, methodologically based on 3 interlinked processes (analytical, reflective, implementation), combining 4I learning and mutual learning schemes with co-creation and dissemination activities, engaging a diverse range of stakeholders, and building on knowledge and expertise from previous projects and tools. The multiplier effect of SUPPORTER, starting from the eight partner institutions and gradually reaching the sports ecosystem, has the long-term potential to trigger gender+ institutional change in a variety of further institutions, reaching society more broadly and contributing to wide-range systemic societal changes in line with the Ljubljana Declaration objectives.

    Joint project for the modernization of educational programs in Engineering (security in the administration and management of computer networks and systems), national priority for Moldova and Kazakhstan, regional priority for Vietnam.GOAL IN EACH OF THE THREE COUNTRIES:Overcome skills gaps on the intermediate levels (technicians, maintenance and protection of the systems and networks) and upper level (design, engineering for the protection of computer systems and networks), improving the employability of students and perfecting technicians and executives in companies.Aim of the project is to create a Bachelor and a professional Master degrees for the development, administration, management, protection of computer systems and networks in businesses in Moldova, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, at least partly avaiable by distance learning.     Wider objective is to enable Ukraine and Moldova to face the challenges of dealing with Human Rights policies in accordance with EU and international standards through capacity and institutional building measures. By developing and introducing new Bologna-compliant case-oriented master and doctoral curricula, intensive capacity building mechanism and establishing Offices of Student Ombudsman supported by Code of Academic Integrity the project will bring the following positive challenges in a short term:1. Improving of academic quality of Human Rights studies in Ukraine and Moldova;2. Society demand on promoting, facilitating and assurance of human rights concept and practices will be satisfied by comprehensive training services;3. Urgent necessity on qualitative legal support of internally displaced persons and refugees from zones of military conflict and occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea (Ukraine) and unrecognized territories of Transnistria (Moldova);4. Professional, language and personal skills of programme graduates allow them successfully extend their career on the preferred public or private law sector.Innovative character of the project:1. The project breaks the current stereotypes in the content of available academic HR curriculum in UA and MD and contributes to the fight against xenophobia and homophobia in society2. Students will be directly engaged in monitoring of human rights in their universities (identifying cases of discrimination, corruption, breach of privacy, etc.)3.) Some of human rights competences (rights of refugees, migrants) were not required by the market of legal services - now the situation has changed dramatically. The aggression of Russia led to the fact that 1.5m people have fled their homes and they have long would need support at different levels. The project provide the direct output for targeted Group - Internally displaced persons and refugees from occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea (Ukraine).

    Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the EU has responded by re-engaging with its neighbours. This builds on the assumption that bringing them into the European family of liberal democracies will increase the resilience of the whole European community against external negative interference. Combining insights from a variety of academic fields, RE-ENGAGE will deliver innovative research and concrete advice on how the EU should adapt its foreign policy tools to the current context. Russia’s war against Ukraine has radically altered European security, not only causing extreme civilian suffering in Ukraine, but posing a direct threat to neighbouring countries fearful of the war spreading. Confronted by the direst security crisis in decades, EU policymakers are forced to fundamentally rethink their security policies. Europe has demonstrated unexpected unity and resolve, adopting a series of sanctions against Russia, and increasing national defence spending to better handle potential military threats. This has also led to a revival of EU enlargement process. While this will not improve EU resilience to military threats in the narrow sense, it may counter hybrid warfare, which is the more likely threat faced by the EU and most of its neighbours. The neighbourhood policy and the accession process require urgent adjustment to build strong, resilient neighbourhood states capable of countering external threats, particularly those posed by hybrid warfare. A systematic investigation of how this can be achieved in the current context without compromising the EU’s values and security is therefore needed. Since Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, there have been increasing calls from the EU for a more context-sensitive approach to its neighbours. RE-ENGAGE will assist the EU in determining how best to achieve this goal through an in-depth study of six cases – three in the Western Balkans and three in the Eastern Neighbourhood.

    Sustainability reporting is a critical component of corporate responsibility and accountability in today's business landscape. It involves the disclosure of an organization's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance to various stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and the public. To increase scrutiny of businesses’ sustainability performance and strategy, current legislative changes endorsed by the EC emphasize the shift from voluntary to mandatory ESG disclosure as a world effort to address climate change and social inequalities by having the same referential framework for sustainability information. Thus, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners should collaborate to drive progress in this critical area. Our proposal aims to create a transnational, cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary research network aiming to design and provide a comprehensive understanding of how cultural and contextual factors shape sustainability reporting practices i.e. corporate disclosure on ESG risks and opportunities. The research objectives are: O1. Investigate the cultural barriers and identify cultural enablers that facilitate high-quality non-financial disclosures of ESG–related matters. O2. Systematically collect and analyze the quality of information toward a deeper understanding of the intricate interplay between cultural, regional, and industrial factors in sustainability reporting practices. O3. Define cutting-edge interdisciplinary models with culturally sensitive information and promote effective disclosure strategies for better sustainability reporting practices. The STAR project will move beyond the current debate over the quality of sustainability data and information and put forward robust research combining international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration to develop more effective and culturally sensitive reporting strategies as key means for greater transparency, accountability, and business resilience.
