The so-called ‘digital revolution’ is changing the world in which we live and work. Trends such as home-working and globalisation are contributing to increased use of remote teams. Team members and teams are becoming increasingly geographically dispersed: team members might work just a few kilometres from their colleagues, or in different countries and time zones. Whilst remote teams bring benefits for both employers and individuals, they also bring some new challenges, especially for team leaders and managers. TeamMate 360 developed a new set of VET resources to help team leaders, managers and organisations to adapt to and improve the management of remote teams and team members. Project partners developed a new, multi-lingual, on-line 360° assessment tool called, ‘TeamMate 360’. The tool was based upon a set of 72 observable behaviours, organised into a set of 24 Specific Skills sub divided into a set of six Core Skills: -Developing Team Plans-Team Leadership-Team Communication-Working as a Team-Performance Management-Exploiting Technology. After being trained and recognised as certified ‘360-degree Feedback Coaches’, a team of 10 VET coaches planned and implemented seven national pilot assessment exercises. In total 125 team leaders and managers completed the TeamMate 360 assessment with around 100 taking part in a new VET course called ‘The Remote Manager’. The data from the TeamMate 360 assessments was analysed resulting in a set of seven national benchmark reports plus a comparative analysis of the skills and behaviours of managers from the UK, Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece, Ireland and Bulgaria. Based on the pilot testing phase of the TeamMate 360 assessment exercise and the delivery of the Remote Manager courses, a Best Practice Guide to 360-degree assessment was prepared. In addition to a wide range of dissemination activities, the project culminated with the delivery of a series of six national conferences including the UK conference hosted by the Chartered Management Institute. During the conferences, participants learned about the design and use of the TeamMate 360 assessment tool, the project results and impact. In addition to impacting on team leaders and managers and building new national and European capacity and capability in the use of 360-degree assessment and feedback, the Erasmus+ project also provided ‘proof of concept’. Consequently, partners have ambitious plans for the continued use of the tool including adding more languages training more ‘360-degree Feedback Coaches’ and developing other editions of the 360-assessment tools including a version for Directors and Coaches.

Not all entrepreneurs / business owners / managers have a background in business and management. However, all of them need to master some knowledge regarding, precisely, business and management. Is, being aware of this context and the difficulties that aspiring entrepreneurs experience in their quest to become business persons that the project was created. As such, the Your Business Success (YBS) project developed an approach to enable the primary target group (aspiring entrepreneurs and business owner/managers of micro and small enterprises) to prepare practical and performance-focused business plans. This was achieved through the development of a new digital business planning tool and methodology supported by a new VET course and learning resources. The YBS digital business planning and management tool help participants to prepare business plans where the enterprise’s objectives are linked to and supported by operational plans, VET training and employees' skills, competences and performance targets. Partners created a new VET curriculum and course called Your Business Success. The project increased the quality of VET provision in the field of entrepreneurship and enterprise support through the delivery of a C1 training the trainer course. Once trained as YBS Coaches, the VET teacher/trainers can deliver the YBS VET course to the target group, thereby developing their knowledge and understanding of business planning and the use of the YBS digital planning tool. The project contributed to the development of an increased sense of entrepreneurship within the primary target group. It also increased the digital competence of VET teacher/trainers by exposing them to the effective use of digital technologies in the delivery of enterprise VET courses. At the end of the YBS project, Partners have created a new training course that promotes the use of innovative methods and a new pedagogical approach to the delivery of business and enterprise planning and management; Partners have created a new open education resource relevant to a wide range of different audiences, including aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners and managers and enterprise support agencies and VET institutes engaging in enterprise training. Partners seek to widen the impact of the project beyond the immediate target groups by preparing a good practice guide in the form of a book (Output 3: Best Practice Handbook: Planning for Business Success). Through the dissemination activities and the multiplier events (E1 - E6), Partners tried to influence the strategies and initiatives supported and sponsored by a range of other VET actors and stakeholders (e.g. regional/national government agencies, VET centres and education institutes, business support agencies and awarding bodies with responsibility for and/or an interest in raising interest in entrepreneurship and the development of micro and small enterprises).

"Disparity in financial literacy among European citizens represents a big challenge for the EU. Any commercial, economic or social action (i.e. study loans, paying taxes, taking up employment, starting an enterprise, signing a rent contract, starting a mortgage) requires basic financial competencies that many people lack. This becomes especially problematic for adults, as this lack of knowledge becomes a real obstacle to plan their economic life and achieve entrepreneurial objectives (to start a new business, business loans and relations with investors).Financial literacy programmes target children or highly educated young in almost all EU States but are not able to reach adults, households and NEETs, facing more barriers in learning such subjects. The rising complexity of the financial system and of the connection in the economy has hampered the capacity of every EU citizen in the field of economic decisions. This, in turn, damages the economy discouraging people, in particular those with a low skilled background, when dealing with financial and credit institutions or with the entrepreneurial world. Thus, financial literacy education sits at the heart of any solid economic system for Europe, because education is key to shaping people’s mind-set, attitudes and skills. Finally, it is important to educate about the so-called “legal economy”. In fact, above all in the rural areas, uneducated or low-skilled people often address to informal or “black financial market” fostering illegal practices and exposing themselves to risks, such as usury or fraud. The project objective will be engaging this target groups and educating them on financial themes will impact in their live and support them in the understanding of financial activities. The project aims to close the financial literacy gap revealed by past European Projects and pointed out in significant publications by institutions like the OECD and EBF, with specific attention dedicated to the target group through a high quality Educational methodology applied to the financial education sector. Moreover the project wants to take a further step on. In fact, a key element for proper financial education is the provision of fundamental tools to recognize the illegal conduct on the part of the ""suppliers"" of services, necessarily related to financial choices in daily or working life. ICT tools will be developed not only for improve training methodologies but also to provide a useful tool to understand basic financial and economic mechanisms. The project will involve representatives of the following target groups:Unemployed/NEETs, households, professional (mostly freelances) workers and in general all low skilled people who feel the need to learn more about the financial world. Besides, a wide range of stakeholders will be involved such as trainers, financial and banking field and law enforcement representatives. For this reason, the general objectives of this project will be:- To increase the financial literacy of adults;- To increase the ability of the mentioned target groups to deal with daily or life economic/financial decisions;- To increase the ability of the target group about how to start a business and to cope with the related issues;- To educate to the so-called “legal economy” above all in the rural and less-developed areas;- To increase the ability of the target groups to recognize financial “misconducts” to make right their financial or economical choices;- To develop innovative education practices, with a particular attention to the methodology and the development of educational ICT tools, such as smartphone apps. The Intellectual Output that will result from the activity of the partnership will be: IO1: Legal economy training module.IO2: Training platform and App.IO3: Practical guide for informed and safe financial choices.Teaching/Learning activities aim at supporting the assessment of methodologies, training material and ICT tools developed in FAIRLY project. They will allow generating innovation on financial and anti-fraud skills and dissemination of FAIRLY results. A learning activity is the most accurate way to test the efficacy of the developed training material and of the FAIRLY platform. The outcome of the learning activity can give the chance to consolidate the methodology and to offer a valid training system for the sustainability of the project. This project brings together several partners from different sectors and countries, including Chamber of Commerce, Adult edu providers, banking system companies and expert companies to prevent, detect and investigate frauds, corruption and unethical business behaviours. In detail the partners will be: Italian Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (Luxembourg), CBE (Belgium), DomSpain (Spain), VEDA (Bulgaria), Hibis (Norway), CIOFS-FP Piemonte (Italy). The project will last 24 months and it will organize 4 project meeting and 6 multiplier events."

Large companies and public sector organisations use Wellness and High Performance Work Practices to support organisation development, staff productivity and to support staff welfare. Small and medium sized enterprises (SME) rarely use such methods. Stress in the workplace, especially within ambitious, growth-oriented SMEs is a significant challenge to enterprises and is becoming a risk to economic growth within this part of the economy. As major contributors to job creation and economic growth, it is important that European actors (e.g. governments, VET and education institutes and economic development agencies) seek solutions designed to help SMEs develop and grow. Stress-related absences impact on individual and organisational performance and tend to be longer than absences arising from other causes. EU-OSHA’s 2014 report argues the associated costs of work-related stress to individuals and employers are significant (e.g. lower income; reduced quality of life; absenteeism, presenteeism, reduced productivity, increased staff turnover. Work-related stress impacts on national economic performance and health costs. In the UK, it is estimated at £4billion per year (Employee Wellbeing 2011/CIPD 2010). Work-related stress impacts negatively not only the performance of individuals, SMEs, but also on national and European economic performance. The F4BG project set out to contribute to improving the performance of SMEs experiencing or aspiring to develop and grow through the development of a high quality work-based VET intervention thereby contributing to the development of an important area of skills within the European economy. The project aimed to address four objectives (1) To contribute to improving the performance of potential and/or actual high-growth SMEs through the development of the Fit4BusinessGrowth Model; (2) To develop a new Fit4BusinessGrowth Model and VET course; (3) To build on the knowledge and results obtained from earlier and related projects; (4) To deliver an exemplar project which will act as a demonstrator project for future VET products utilising wellness and high-performance work practices.Partners brought together three different bodies of knowledge (i.e. wellness in the workplace, High Performance Work Practices and High Growth Business Coaching) to synthesise a Fit4BusinessGrowth methodology. This enabled the development of the F4BG Model, a diagnostic tool and a set of coach and employer tools and resources to be prepared (IO1). These were trialed as with enterprises and VET teacher/trainers and resulted in the drafting of a strategy paper on the importance and longer term development of the F4BG Model and methodology. During the project, partners built on the results of earlier related projects and adopted many best project management practices, resulting in the delivery of a successful Erasmus+ project. The project directly involved 103 enterprises from the main target group. They were engaged in the trialing of the project's products and tools supported by a network of 62 trained F4BG Coaches. Partners created a Directory of F4BG Coaches and also prepared a set of 26 case studies showcasing the impact and experiences of both F4BG Coaches and SMEs. The project results and its impacts contributed to the drafting of a policy paper called, ‘A New Strategy: Fit for Business Growth’. The paper was presented at a series of national conferences (i.e. multiplier events) attended by over 350 people. Partners have also set out twenty four strategies to ensure the longer-term use and development of the F4BG Model including the integration of elements of the methodology within some VET qualifications in management and leadership.
