    HSbooster.eu will increase the European standardisation impact coming from H2020 & Horizon Europe Research & Innovation projects, by designing, launching, and managing a dedicated booster-type initiative. HSbooster.eu will draw from the positive and practical experience of the H2020 CSA StandICT.eu and two previous Boosters (Common Dissemination Booster, CDB & Horizon Results Booster, HRB) and it will: a) Design and implement an effective range of Automated, Proactive, and Premium Services to boost standardisation results from European-led initiatives; b) Launch & manage a robust and efficient Facility to serve R&I projects over 30 months, also owing to an External Pool of Experts to support the Premium Services delivered; c) Deliver a Training Academy of next generation of standardisation experts; d) Enjoy steering from an authoritative Expert Advisory Group, tapping directly into the WGs & TCs of SDOs, tackling EU priorities, challenges & gaps. HSbooster.eu is proposed by a lean Consortium of Partners with extensive experience in the Standardisation landscape Trust-IT Srl (IT), the Coordinator of StandICT.eu and CDB, Dublin City University (IE), an active player in SDO WGs & TCs and in educating future standards experts, Dansk Standard (DE), with a track record in increasing European impact on the international standards scene, University of Belgrade (RS), experts in delivering training packages to support standardisation efforts, and SGS (ES), experts in certification. Principal outputs: The HSbooster.eu Service Facility, serving 300+ projects/organisations and providing feedback on the services received, A continuous Open Call delivering 230+ Premium Services, 250+ experts contractualised, and 1,500+ people trained); 14 Webinars, 3 Workshops, 1 final event, 3 Standards Impact Reports, an engaged, multi-stakeholder Community of 2,000+ individuals in Europe, bridging the R&I community (1,000+ H2020 and HE projects) and the standardisation experts.

    Metallic structures are the backbone in a wide range of industrial sectors e.g. energy, space, aerospace, automotive and metal forming. Metals are, however, not utilised optimally since conservative safety factors are used to mitigate residual stresses known to cause fatigue failure. Using synchrotron x-ray and neutron diffraction techniques, the full 3d stress tensor can be measured within the bulk of a component in a non-destructive manner which is not possible with any other technique. Knowing the actual stress levels and incorporating these into modelling tools will lead to three competitive advantages for companies: 1. Increased lifetime and reduced risk of failure 2. Reduced material usage due to reduced safety factors 3. Reduced time-to-market of new products, materials and processing technologies Diffraction-based techniques have been used for decades in academia but have not yet gained foothold in industry because of a lack of validation, standards and procedures. within the framework of the EASI-STRESS project, the consortium, consisting of large industrial partners and experts from the large facilities and universities bound together by RTOs and a standardisation body, break down the main barriers for industrial use of these strong techniques by 1. Validating the techniques and their accuracy against more widespread (semi)destructive measurement techniques. 2. Developing and implementing protocols and procedures aimed at standardisation for the measurements, in close collaboration with both standardisation bodies and industrial partners to ensure their industrial acceptance. 3. Defining (meta)data formats and software that ensure reproducibility and traceability of the data and enable their incorporation into modelling tools to secure the link between data and reliable end-product. 4. Setting up and validating an industrial test bed service for residual stress characterisation to ensure that all European industries can get a head start on the technology.

    DigInTraCE aims at the development of i)transparent and interoperableDecentralised Traceability platform using novel tracking, sensing and sorting techniques ii)Dynamically updated DPPschemes supporting certification and quality validation iii)AI based and decision making mechanisms for process and lifecycle optimisation iv)up-cycling, reuse and upgrade technologies for improved secondary raw materials use v)contribute to standardization, open and easy accessible data vi)business models creating new economic opportunities and learning resources for employees, promoting new digital skills and meeting regional social needs. The solutions are demonstrated in the sectors of a) Pulp & Paper focused in 2 cases: composite wood and furniture; and wood and Pulp & Paper and b) Chemicals focused in 2 cases: plastic parts from ICT equipment and automotive market; and polymers and textiles: in 4 countries, while composite wood case combines both the 2 main sectors.
