The ASAP Project was addressed to design and experiment appropriate Curricula for supporting the passage from physical to digital production in the publishing sector. The first step was addressed to map the new needed skills and competences as a basis for the creation of the curricula, showing the specific challenges on:• definition of the anticipated short and medium term changes and the new trends and best practices in education and training for the Publishing Sector• implementation of a link between the skills needs/competences gaps and the learning outcomes.Taking into account the impact of the changes in the competences and skills, the following phase of the ASAP project proposed an evolutionary map of the skill needs and designed and delivered flexible training programmes (one for each area of the publishing supply chain) that, according to EQF/ECVET standards, have provided employees, but also unemployed, self-employed, low skilled employees and young VET students the opportunity to update their professional skills and knowledge covering the gap related to the lack of specific skills determined by the “digital revolution”.In particular, the programme is composed of 5 specific professional profiles of the publishing sector (Specialist in production, Specialist in Design, Editor, Specialist in Marketing and Sales, Specialist in Publicity and Communication), one for each step of the publishing supply chain (Production - Design - Editorial - Marketing and publicity - Distribution and sales). A transversal module was developed with the goal of introducing the main innovation of the publishing sector. The profiles are indeed declined in Learning Units and ECVET points are attributed. For each occupational profile the “more innovative” unit is developed into the ASAP MOOC (Massive Open Online Platform); this way the ASAP project gives also the opportunity to attain the course entirely on line. The ASAP consortium believed that workers of the publishing sector who wish to successfully transform themselves into digital skills experts must learn to leverage their existing brand and professional approach considering the new digital channels, and to reduce their traditionally heavy dependence on the traditional skills and competences. So, the idea behind the work done is to support a step-by-step transformation and to lead the learners through a path of improvement where at the beginning they would seek for a fulfilment of their specific needs and at the end they would be ready to face the labor market with updated and new acquired skills. The project promoted a wide cooperation among the different stakeholders using a participatory portal and the MOOC for making the contents at the disposal of a massive target group (it can become the first MOOC of the Publishing Sector), also after the formal end of the project. In the MOOC, each unit is composed by: •Video Lessons (mother tongue video, one for each profile) = minimum 01:00 hour • Reading Materials = at least 30 (10 for each learning outcomes)• Other Videos / Reference materials = at least 30 (at least 10 for each Learning Outcome)• Tasks = at least 12 (4 for each learning outcome)• Assessment exams = Assessment exams = at least 45 quizzes for the assessment of each Unit (for a profile 180 quizzes)All these materials are produced in original, in all partners languages and for all the 5 professional profiles.A wide piloting has been conducted with 1082 learnersFinally a Memorandum of Understanding was signed among the VET partners through which they agree to: - formalise the ECVET partnership by stating the mutual acceptance of the procedures for assessing competences coherently within the ASAP model - define the procedures under which credits, in partner systems, can be achieved and recognized - design specific arrangements for credit transfer for learners for each specific mobility period- continue the LO Units Testing.

BACKGROUNDEvery company is excellent in something: products, marketing, technologies, work processes, HR, management, markets. Go&Learn is a training initiative aimed to valorise the companies’ excellence, let it be known to the territory where it operates, foster the company's training role. The project inserts companies in guidance and adjournment training/educational pathways, which are organized by universities, schools, and VET centresOBJECTIVESThe project, now at its third European edition, allowed to transfer and implement good training and guidance practices by aiming to:1. expand the already existing training offer of local and international G&L circuits2. promote the use of the G&L training units, supporting regional and international mobility3. promote the use of the G&L training units as innovative instruments for updating and providing professional guidance, also in a non-formal way4. integrate and enrich the website’s structure with promotional videosPROJECT’S PARTNERSENAIP Veneto (Italy) AFPA (France) C.E.C.E. (Spain) CEPYME (Spain) CFIQ Piemonte (Italy) Confindustria Veneto SIAV S.p.A. (Italy) ECOLE (Italy) ENAIP Piemonte (Italy) Malta Business Bureau (Malta) Malta University Holding Co. ltd (Malta)The 10 project partners work in the fields of education, vocational training, university and industry.PARTICIPANTSBy means of G&L, schools, training providers, universities and enterprises were able to strengthen their training offers, including a solid and widely tested range of transnational training and guidance modules, carried out in non-formal contexts inside the companies. The study groups that can benefit from the G&L products are open to students, teachers, employed or unemployed people, entrepreneurs.ACTIVITIES/PRODUCTSIO1 NEW G&L LOCAL AGENCIESThe widening of the G&L network was obtained by creating 6 new agencies/workgroup (made up of at least one institutional stakeholder and at least one training provider), which provided the new territories with local companies’ catalogues. The already existing Italian network was broadened by the GO&Learn+ project (by adding Veneto, Lombardy and Piedmont) and the first local agencies were created in Spain (Comunidad de MADRID), France (Auvergne Rhone-Alpes) and Malta.IO2 LOCAL CATALOGUES AND IN COMPANY PILOTING VISITSThe new agencies and workgroup created local catalogues of companies. The G&L training units were promoted by carrying out piloting visits in every territory inside the enterprises that are part of the project and of the local catalogues.IO3 INTERNATIONAL G&L CIRCUITSA catalogue of international study visits was also created by each agency of the hosting country and addressed to users coming from foreign states. The circuits are made up of groups of visits in multiple companies that last between 3 and 5 days.IO4 PROMOTIONAL CLIPS – COMPANY VISIT TRAILERSAfter having agreed on the content/technical requirements, some promotional trailers have been experimented and developed. They have been associated to the local catalogues, to integrate the current descriptive forms that are available on the www.goandlearn.eu website. RESULTS AND IMPACTIn this edition, the project, G&L+:- has set up 6 new local agencies/workshop in 6 new territories, made up of 19 actors (stakeholders and training providers)- has defined 6 local catalogues for a total number of 102 participating European companies- 33 visits have been experimented, involving 34 companies, 15 VET centers/institutions, for a total number of 639 participants (72 employed and 2 unemployed people, 512 VET/university students, 44 teachers/trainers, 9 VET staff).- 15 videoclips have been produced, together with a multilingual blend video,- 5 multiplier events were organized, involving 284 participants. The new edition of G&L training opportunities has highlighted that the ability to access a standard catalogue of study visits and seminars carried out inside the companies, which are able to facilitate the contact between economic fabric, cultures and territories, is a great added value for the professional growth of students, teachers and workers.Go & Learn + has renewed its format by delivering and promoting the training offer at a local and interregional level (local catalogues), at an international and cross border level (international catalogue), integrating itself naturally with training activities and anticipating its evolution through new topics of interest, such as the living industry, industry 4.0 and new experiences of innovation carried out by sectoral companies.Local and international catalogues, together with the produced materials are freely accessible and have been integrated into the multilingual website www.goanleran.eu and http://project.goandlearn.eu
