They will also find examples of discrimination through the art of music, cinema and television, they will create role plays and they will attend and participate in seminars and open discussions with experts and people who suffered discrimination during their school life. Herewith the aim is to achieve different objectives: on the one hand, to generate aspirational references for the role of women and LGBT people who are not correctly represented in students’ academic books and environment, so that the absence of references could not be an obstacle to the talent or vocation of a student and on the other hand to generate raise awareness of this possible bias which could avoid situations of discrimination both voluntary and involuntary in the future. To carry out this project six countries have joined with similar problems in this field because we believe that the realization of this project can be beneficial for our schools and our environment, having a satisfactory impact on our local community. Six mobilities have been prepared withactivities aimed to cover different aspects such as science, art, history, technology, including current cultural aspects, the mass media and methodological aspects. The groups which have been formed are of five people, comprising three students and two teachers. The selected students will have an age range between 14- 18 years old of the last level of secondary education. The selection processes will try to be as inclusive as possible and no student will be discriminated for academic or linguistic reasons. The main objective to be achieved is to improve the school environment, that is, to create spaces of respect and tolerance in which no student is discriminated against on the basis of gender or sexual identity depending on the collateral objectives such as improving linguistic, civic or technological competence. Moreover, different methods have been selected so that the diffusion and the impact could be the greatest possible. In this project the use of educational platforms such as eTwinning will be a useful tool for our collaboration."

Majorana-Laterza Putignano (Italy), ""Lycée Général et Technologique Jean-Baptiste De Baudre"" Agen (France) and I.E.S. San Sebastián Huelva (Spain). The five of us are highly skilled in TESL, ICT and have previously collaborated in COMENIUS projects with a satisfactory outcome to the whole community. It has been chosen following the AIMS specified in Europe 2020 Targets and Erasmus + in order to improve the DIGITAL competence through the use of ICTs as an important means in the development of the activities proposed; to enhance cleanliness and ENVIRONMENT preservation within and outside our educational environment, to provide strong foundations for its SUSTAINABILITY in the future to change the look of our schools and surroundings in terms of : neatness, organization, handling of resources, changes of mentality cutting down on unnecessary shopping (mobile phones, electronic devices), improvement of the state of our rivers, beaches, lakes and parks. It is an integrating project where European VALUES will be fostered. To achieve these goals, a set of comprehensive ACTIVITIES have been planned both by students and teachers at the different schools: an online platform to provide a second life to the recycled material, a website designed to capture and spread performed activities, partner communication of the process achievement through e-Twinning, at-school recycling of batteries, paper, books, plastic, electronic components, clean-up journeys to beaches or river banks and an eco-friendly garden. Our METHODOLOGY will enhance an active participation of the community motivating them by means of varied, realistic and viable awareness activities, as well as an objective evaluation of results through observation, questionnaires or surveys. The expected IMPACT of the project will be the improvement in the attitudes of citizens to reusing materials and to short and long-term environmental concern. Spreading the project RESULTS through the mass media to increase benefit is intended."

Students should become familiar with the concept of Circular Economy based on the use of renewable resources with the final aim of sharing their knowledge. The project will include theory and practical sessions in the form of traditional lessons, workshops and visits.Students will acquire the relevant knowledge through lab activities concerning recycling materials, by playing a board game devised by the CNR (National Research Centre) of Bologna in cooperation with several European partners called “Eco-Ceo” and by visiting local companies, Research Centres or Universities that are already working within a Circular Economy or towards implementing it.To start with, students will carry out three surveys among the different age-groups in their own country to assess any previous knowledge on the issue and to inform their choice about the nature and the content of the final dissemination tools. The students from different European schools will communicate through the eTwinning platform to coordinate activities, discuss results and decide the next steps.Once acquired the necessary knowledge, students will then be required to create a series of tools to share information about ways to promote a change from our current Linear Economy to a more eco-friendly system. For example students could create a video or a powerpoint presentation to inform their peers or adults (teaching staff, relatives, members of the local communities, local councillors etc.) and a board game or a comic for younger children. The partner schools will work together towards the outcomes aimed at the different age groups according to the results from the initial surveys.Given the relevance of the topic, dissemination will be a fundamental aspect and will take place beyond the project's deadline. A further conference open to other secondary schools will see students presenting their work and giving feedback on the whole experience. The project’s materials will be published on the school homepage, on the Erasmus+ section of the school website and on the eTwinning platform.Benefits: There will be obvious benefits for the students in terms of learning about a very relevant and contemporary issue which is fundamental for the future of our planet. Besides, the various activities should promote teamwork, problem-solving skills and the ability to share knowledge. Thanks to visiting businesses, Research Centres or Universities students will also have the chance to learn about employment opportunities within the market concerning this fairly new type of economy. There will be further benefits for the people belonging to the school community and to the local community in general, at whom the final outcome of the project is aimed. Finally the students will clearly have a great chance to improve their English skills and their cultural knowledge by working with another European Partner.Required partners: One European school, beside the leading one, one local business, Research Centre or University in each country working in the recycling sector, the CNR of Bologna which will support our theory lesson and the lab activities.

Just walk a bit along the straight road that ends at the Hippodrome and you'll see palaces and monuments that will amaze you. Whatever war-damage it's suffered, however much smaller it's become, it's still a wonderful city...."" This poem of Constantine Cavafy inspired us to start this""odyssey"" which is related to Cultural Heritage and it is about UNESCO World Gultural Heritage monuments and cultural heritage monuments which need protection and preservation, are considered to be of outstanding value to humanity and whose conservation is important for current and future generations. As 2018 was the European Year of Cultural Heritage, cultural heritage was to be understood, cherished and celebrated, therefore students of six partner schools from Greece, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, Spain and Estonia decided to become guardians of this heritage for the next generations and this educational value of cultural heritage was emphasized in this project, as was its contribution to sustainable economic and social development. The two- year project was carried out by 108 students aged 16-17 who proposed these monuments to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List by exchanging expertise and good practice after attending seminars, online courses and their creativity and skills linking culture with the multi-cultural and socio-economic dimensions of European societies nowadays. This was achieved by students’ constructing a website, producing 3D Reconstructions, GIS, videos, brochures of the proposing monuments, puzzles of the monuments, collaborative drama performances and concerts giving life to the monuments, educational trips to the UNESCO World Cultural monuments and the proposed monuments of each partners’ region so as students investigated which criteria were of outstanding value for their proposals, preparing the proposal plans with the assistance of the local authorities and their National UNESCO offices. An Educational kit was produced with all the materials created by students and learners which will be distributed in local and school libraries, UNESCO National offices, local authorities .It is also in digital form which can be replied easily and cost free and can distributed on local authorities',ASP school projects' websites, eTwinning platform and Erasmus+ Project Results Platform.
