EHD are the most widely celebrated participatory cultural events shared by people living in Europe. EHD, as a joint action of the Council of Europe and the European Commission, represent a unique example of a grass-roots initiative organised and shared by millions of European citizens. As organisers of a project involving European cultural heritage, we would like to share our project results with the rest of Europe, through storytelling (oral, digital, visual). This project is also created taking into account the need of schools from 6 different countries to ensure social inclusion for all their pupils, to give them the opportunity to get in contact with parents, grandparents and the elderly who live in their local area and children from other European countries. The participants are 6 schools from Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, and Turkey, at primary and secondary level. Nearly 3000 pupils and180 teachers are going to be involved in all the Project's activities and be direct and indirect beneficiaries. The Project will last for two years. 2 Project Management Meetings (Starting the Project in Greece, and Project Summary in Italy), 2 Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils (in Romania and Latvia ), and 2 Short-term joint staff training events (in Turkey and Lithuania) are put into action. The Project focuses on the inclusion for all, spreading positive messages about diversity, where we value differences and other cultures. One of the main aimsof the project is to raise the students' awareness towards other european cultures, encourage students to learn different foreign languages, stimulate all the partners to make use of the ICT tools for communication and collaboration, so as to improve competences in these areas. We support the individual needs of the students by adapting our teaching methods as required. We will give them a wide understanding of different customs and cultures. Assisting them with contact withstudents from partner countries. The project's theme “Treasures” has brought together schools from Lithuania, Italy, Romania, Latvia, Greece, and Turkey. It is about the hidden cultural treasures in each country, whether they are tangible or intangible. Teaching and learning through practical activities mixed with myths, legends and local tales is an enjoyable way, both for teachers and students. In the context of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, our Project will contribute to raising awareness of the importance of Europe's cultural heritage through education. The students will learn about stories, myths, legends and local tales and will also create their own. By listening to different stories from each country, the students will learn about the similarities and differences between cultures and traditions. Each school will organize a Club (""Treasures of Europe"") with weekly activities related to the Project. The elderly will be invited once a month to share their knowledge and wisdom. Students will visit historical and religious places related to our Project’s topic. During the transnational meetings they will create a new tale involving all the six countries moral values identified in national myths and legends. In this adventure of knowledge they will be guided by their grandparents, the elderly and the people from the Senior Citizen Club and Ex-Teachers Club (Romania), as an exchange of good practices for others.A myth will be converted into a play using drama techniques to perform a mini-production. The final products will assure the quality of the project, such as google surveys, PPT presentations, digital storytelling of myths, legends and tales using the drawings and paintings of the students, lapbooks and web tools 2.0 as storyjumper or emaze, videos with the stories the students have made. An illustrated book of a new tale with ISBN number, a guide for teachers, a book of paintings done by children, a calendar with 12 pictures created by the students related to our myths and legends and the 2nd one with 12 photos taken on Project’s activities during the 1st year.Participation in the project is for all. All students will be involved in all the activities .All teachers, parents and grandparents will work closely with them to build their confidence and enjoyment in learning in order to reach their full academic potential. It will internationalise our schools and create a European dimension in the curricula. ""Storytellers across Europe"" will gather Europeans of all ages, genders, religions, beliefs, promoting a comprehensive approach to teaching and learning."

It is our task to reflect on e.g. our use of energy and natural resources. Each and every person can decide how much energy he uses or if he buys fair-trade products or not. This inevitably leads us to the following question: “What can every individual in our society do to contribute to a more ecological, just and social world?” The goal of the project “Exploring the Sustainable Development Goals” is to answer this question. In the course of the project we want to explore the topic of sustainability from different perspectives with 18 pupils from Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Turkey. The focus is on the sustainable development goals which are the core themes of sustainability itself: Health, climate protection, sustainable consumption, sustainable production, global justice, … The goal is to learn about how to act in a sustainable manner with regard to the future as well as to reflect on their use for our own behavior. Through a combination of analysis an practical projects the 14 to 20 year old learners are meant to become ambassadors for a more ecological, just and social world. In this way the pupils will be part of the process of change towards a culture of sustainability. As a result of the joint activities, a public TwinSpace is created in which all project activities and results are documented.
