The Gargasindi School is a special education centre located in Calp (Alicante) which educates diverse students with special educational needs from 3 to 21 years old. It is for this reason that our main goal as an educational and transformative-of-society centre is the indivdiual development of each of our students in order to get a full inclusion and social involvment of them.Newly celebrated the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the philosophy of our centre could not be better fitted with the commitment to the drama and, in general, to the arts as a basic means to provide our students chances to develop new ways of communication, expression and inclusion in the social environment. Drama has a positive impact at an educational level as a personal one, in terms of self-steem and motivation, communication and expression, and use of their possibilities and abilities because they become the starting point for the pattern of the activities; as well as a social level. The effect in this field is related to the own nature of the activity since it includes all the individualities from a teamwork; at the same time the activity makes sense when it is obtained a final product that will be played in front of the audience in general, which obtains a social visibility, overcoming of prejudices and, as a last target, social transformation. Finally but not least, drama offers us the chance to develope all thos contents needed for the established curricular model, providing with coherence the different working fields as the work is done in a crossing and functional way.But the effort for the social transformation can not be only from the educational scope, but it must be shared and it must include all the members of the Community in a wide sense, that is, organizations, associations and institutions which involve professionals from different social fields. This offers us a favourable frame to propose the work among European partners which includes the formal scope and non-formal scope as well in education through those associations which share a project in common: the specialization in the drama field and arts with people with disabilities in order to promote the personal development and the social inclusion of the participants. For this reason we have chosen ÁRATOS company from Thessaloniky (Greece) and TSVETE Theater in Sofia (Bulgary) with which it will be developed a project divided in two stages: a first course dedicated to the drama and arts training workshops in each of the partner organizations' headquarters and a second course dedicated to the rehearsal and performance of those plays designed by each of the partner institutions. These plays will be recorded in digital content for its divulgation in social networks and also in DVD format for its later broadcasting. The protagonists of these actions will be the 36 students/users from the participating organizations (12 different students or users from each one) who will participate in the training workshops as well as the performance of the play, accompanied during the mobilities by 2 coordinating professionals from each institution. Nevertheless, the nature of the proposed activities allows a greater impact, not only involving the rest of the students/users who are not direct beneficiary but also at a social level, taking into account that they will produce cultural content which will be difussed among the audience in general. Regarding the rest of students and users, they will benefit due to the enrichment of drama methods and techinques as a consequence of the contribution of the participating associates; and also due to the mobilities which will take place in their headquarters, since they provide the same chance to interrelate and meet people from other countries and cultures. Apart from the impact mentioned before at a personal development and participation and social inclusion, it is also expected to obtain in a long term a greater implication of the educational and regional authorities in oder to value the arts in general and drama in particular as a way to gain social transformation; as well as achieve a multiplier effect of these practices in formal and non-formal contexts to offer more and better chances not only of social participation (leisure activities and free time) but also of promoting job ocupation for people with disabilities.

"The project focuses on problems whose essence is contained in the guidelines of the ""Europe 2020"", in ""Inclusive growth - the economy is characterized by a high level of employment and ensuring economic, social and territorial cohesion."" After the analysis of the situation, problems which every European country has to deal with have been indicated. ""Big effort will require the fight against poverty and social exclusion and for reducing inequalities in health, so that everyone can benefit from growth. It will be also important to promote a healthy and active aging to bring about social cohesion and higher productivity. The project involves compliance with the ""European anti-poverty program"" which aims to provide economic, social and territorial cohesion, and aims to increase awareness and recognition of the fundamental rights of the poor and socially excluded, giving them a chance to live in dignity and take an active part in society. It includes fight against discrimination (e.g. people with disabilities) and the development of a new program for the integration of migrants that would enable them to use their full potential. The project is also a response to the guidelines contained in the ""Strategy of development of the Lodz region 2020 “. The project involves the following objectives: to develop cooperation and exchange of experiences for educators, for the creative activity of people at risk of exclusion: senior citizens, the disabled and addicts; leveraging and expanding the professional qualifications of those working with the disabled, elderly and dependent; acquiring new skills and improving existing psychological, interpersonal and methodological ones, necessary for the work with mentees; dissemination of modern art therapy methods of work among staff working with people at risk of marginalization and people working for these communities; more opportunities for personal development of educators participating in the project, raising self-esteem and reduce the risk of burnout. The target group will consists of educators working with people at risk of marginalization, people in charge of the educators who join the project and people working on behalf of communities at risk of marginalization. These groups will participate in the workshops and will be shown the proper methods of work. The recipients will be indirect participants in the project dissemination activities at local and international levels. These will be both educators and mentees. The challenges mentioned at the beginning, based on careful analysis, facing each European Union country, make it possible to deal with the problems of inclusion of marginalized people. Educators are trained differently in the partner countries, and the systems of dealing with persons associated with the treatment and rehabilitation of excluded people also look different. Connecting factor is the way educators approach rehabilitation of people with these backgrounds - all the countries of the European Union must make every effort to enable as many people as possible to return to an active life in society. International cooperation gives each partner a much greater opportunity to learn and know the solutions, programs and methods that are worthy of imitation and the implementation of which will enrich the education of adults, change the way partners conceive previously used methods of work, and would guarantee the acquisition of a fuller and richer knowledge. Around 1500 persons will be involved in the project"

The Prevent Bullying and Abuse project was implemented by seven organisations in six countries (Hungary, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Portugal, Romania) between 1 September 2018 and 30 April 2021. In the past, all of them had experienced that young adults or school-age children from vulnerable groups were often exposed to violence or abuse in their environment. This problem has also been recognised at national level in the participating countries. Organisations from different fields have joined forces to tackle youth violence:The National Institute for Disability and Social Policy (HU), which works on behalf of people with disabilities; the Youth School in Copenhagen (DK), which also runs five second chance schools; second chance schools from Chambéry (FR) and Matosinhos (PT), the Association of Form Masters in Hungary (HU), the Sociology Department of Babes-Bólya University in Cluj-Napoca (RO) and the Teatre Tsvete in Sofia (BG).The project partners in the consortium sought and found innovative ways to raise awareness of the problem among young adults and their peers involved in or at risk of abuse. The solution was to develop a simulation game in which different young adult characters from vulnerable groups appear and participants have to put themselves in their shoes. They have to step into their shoes and deal with different abuse situations: verbal and emotional abuse, as well as financial, physical and sexual abuse. A key element of the project was to imagine and create characters that the consortium members could meet in their immediate environment, and to make the different incidents they encounter real life. They have to step into their shoes and deal with different abuse situations: verbal and emotional abuse, as well as financial, physical and sexual abuse. A key element of the project was to create and 'invent' characters that the consortium members could meet in their immediate environment, and to make the different incidents they encounter real life. In addition, these should be real-life situations, both in the project countries and in Europe in general.Another critical point of the project was how to process this with the participants of the game in such a way that they do not experience the participation as a lesson or an overly didactic game, but as an event that is enjoyable for them, and at the same time the experiences they have had make them more aware and empathetic in recognising, dealing with or, if possible, avoiding situations of abuse. The development of the simulation game was a long process, during which each partner independently tested both the characters and the method of processing during the three phases of development, so that the final product was continuously shaped by the experience of testing. The final product is a toolkit that could be played as a board game, or using only forum theatre techniques, or a combination of the two. Elements of the toolkit: Guidelines, which explain the essence of the game and make recommendations for possible applications,A guide to using forum theatre techniques,Suggestions for a game board,17 different character space cards5 - 5 situation cards for each characterGame master booklet. The toolkit is freely available in seven languages English, in addition to the languages of the participating countries, and can be downloaded from the project website (linket beszúrni) and the EPALE website (linket beszúrni). The project participants in their national language on their own web sites will make the toolkit available. The toolkit will contribute to the development of competences of educators working with young adults and young people of school age. It will help them to educate and sensitise their students on bullying and violence without using didactic methods. It helps them to recognise when such situations occur among their students and supports them in dealing with both the victim and the perpetrator. The results of the project will be further exploited by several partners, including in university courses, disseminated to students and teachers through the project partres’ national and European networks, and developed into a teacher training programme.

"The project ""In Europe, with us or without us - the fate of the excluded and foreign"" takes action on behalf of various disadvantaged groups, including seniors, women in difficult situation, victims of all kinds of violence, people with educational disabilities, migrants (with particular emphasis on the fate of women), opposing their discrimination. 10 partner meetings are planned, including 5 of 5 training days, during which attendees – educators from partner countries of this project – will gain knowledge about three specific methods (biographical narrative interview, biographical conversation, drama). These new skills will be used to diagnose problems and attempt to resolve them, and the first step in this direction will be developing profiles of adults of various ages (25 + / 60 +) with the disadvantaged environments. In each country, several interviews and biographical interviews with representatives of our target groups will be conducted, and their fate will be visualized using drama techniques. The following questions will be raised in interviews: we will ask ""natives"" what is their willingness to accept ""strangers"", what knowledge they have about the problem of migration and refugees, what is their political consciousness, what are their stereotypes on this subject, and whether they would like to find themselves in the situation of migrants in their own country. Other questions raised will concern the problem of Euro-orphanage, namely the effect of migration of parents and raising children by grandparents. On the other hand, we get to know what have been and are the expectations of migrants related to the new destination, and whether they have been met, what was the reason for emigration, how they made a choice of their destination and what was their knowledge of the social, geographical and cultural circumstances in the destination country. In Poleski Art Centre, the coordinating institution, the artistic activities will also be supported by the members of the Center for Active Seniors operating there. The project is aimed at education staff and instructors of the European institutions participating in the project, and a group of learners associated with these institutions, and to the people from the groups vulnerable to marginalization. Project activities will cover engage around 1,000 people, including listeners and viewers. The overriding objective of our project is to improve the quality of education and long-life learning. However, an equally important goal is to encourage the public to reflect on such notions as: hatred, respect, mercy and love, and build a dialogue between people, so that they talk to each other, and are curious about each other. The project also has the task of eliminating the fear of foreign, of a stranger, in front of a migrant. The project follows the guidelines of the ""Strategy 2020"" and the 2020 strategy for the Lodz region. Valuable result, also long-term, is the development of cooperation and exchange of experiences of organizations from the partner countries in the field of action for the integration and inclusion of people at risk of exclusion, through which educators increase their qualifications as well as gain new skills, psychological, interpersonal and methodical, necessary to work with their ""wards"". The project will facilitate an understanding of current events, mechanisms and social problems, faced to varying degrees by all European countries, among others, one of the most dramatic and complex phenomenon of modern times, namely the migration crisis. A lasting result of the project will also be: a generally available web page of the project, pages of partner organizations, links to the project on pages of other organizations working against discrimination and exclusion, e-brochure with descriptions of methods and results of the project in English and the national languages of partner organizations."
