Formazione e Sviluppo Srl,Agrupación Europea de Cooperación Territorial León-BragançaFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-1-ES01-KA220-ADU-000026961Funder Contribution: 165,830 EUR"<< Background >>The oral traditions and intagible heritage are central to the human experience. We express ourselves and communicate through different types of stories, from novels and newsletters to fairy tales and conversations with friends, and it is by ""telling a good story"" that we can connect with other people. The formal study of oral traditions have their origins in the literature and offers an analytical framework for understanding the standard techniques used in other media such as advertising or film to develop and communicate an effective narrative. Oral transmission of ancestral knowledge becomes a very important learning method to achieve integral development, by allowing recognition of cultural potentialities and values.<< Objectives >>Project objectives:1.To contribute to the professionalization and to the economic development based on the use of intangible heritage in rural areas through a new training profile. 2.To promote the European rural cultural heritage transmission and to contribute to improve the current professional qualifications thanks to the new competences created by the project.3.To raise awareness of the importance of rural cultural heritage at the local, national and European levels and its reciprocal/mutual recognition, through the practice of heritage interpretation in tourism and educational services.4.Protect the oral traditions and develop new strategies for preserving them generating a special awareness about intangible heritage.5.Promote the oral traditions as a resource for the employability of adults in rural areas.<< Implementation >>The project plan to develop the following activities:1.Two project results:a.Methodological guide of the new competences in Oral Heritage: This is a Training of trainers’ manual with the new professional qualification expected to be recognized. It is the material for teachers, trainers and educators (formal and non-formal levels) and for adult education authorities.b.e-Learning Platform: will inform and offer knowledge and learning tools on rural heritage interpretation to students and general public through a Learning Management System which includes e-Learning2.Three training activities as pilot training activity (one in each partner country). A three-days duration training course is planned with the aim of providing training of trainers.3.Three Multiplier events (one in each partner country) are designed for the broadcasting and assessment of the project results.<< Results >>The project aims at producing the minimum following results:- Development of a structured training course, aiming at the adult training in the rural areas, using an innovative methodology based on blending the theory with workshops and activities taking place “in situ”, and also having as the main trainers/teachers the adults who have that traditional knowledge. - Creation of pedagogic materials needed for the development of this training course.- Creation of the required promotional material.- Design of a specific software where all the project partners will be able to share materials, experiences and results of the project in their different stages and facilitate their dissemination in the European area. - Design of a “Program to transfer traditional knowledge for sustainability” which will have a clear goal to increase and multiply this knowledge. The people responsible for multiplying will be those who were trained in the training course; in this way we will guarantee a first step to carry on the transfer of the traditional knowledge. This program will be based on the practice of at least one relevant traditional activity in the local area of each of the partners’ countries taking part in the project."

The operational objective is to look at best methods and practices in the context of (civic) participation at the international level, to receive further training and to learn skills on how to achieve target group-oriented participation on the ground. The overall objective is social inclusion and the strengthening of civil society involvement and participation of previously uninvolved citizens. The scientific discourse on citizen participation and its methods is extensive and controversial. Both science and practice state that people with an educational background participate and disadvantaged groups are excluded. In addition, practical experience shows that municipal calls for participation are generic and not adapted to the target groups to be reached, and that existing networking structures are not taken into account. With the project ""My language - your language - success factors for good civic participation"" the four European partner organisations from Germany, Austria, Italy (with headquarters in France) and Spain would like to analyse the described gap of the lack of target group oriented access in accordance with the priorities ""social inclusion"" and ""common values, civil society commitment and participation"" and work on the following questions:- What is the experience of partner organisations with participation of people of different ages and nationalities, who are interested in and distant from participation, as well as people who are close to and distant from education?- Which best practice methods are there in the area of culturally sensitive addressing and participation in the partner countries?- What influence do individual values, the living environment and interculturality have on- access to people and their participation?Through the Strategic Partnership, this topic is to be developed in four transnational workshops of several days' duration in the partner countries. In their work, all partner organisations deal with the issue of participation of different target groups on an operational or strategic level. Due to the different focuses and expertise of the partner organisations, a large thematic breadth and depth is generated.During the project period the project group will work on an OPERATIVE level with the- the exchange of good practice in terms of content and differentiated access to different citizens and local diversity- the international aspect in the context of participation- and the educational approach resulting from the two aspects mentioned aboveapart. On an INDIVIDUAL level, the actors deal with different milieus and diversity on site in the workshops. This is intended to increase the empathy of the professionals towards the citizens. At the INSTITUTIONAL level, the innovative approach has an integrating effect, as the focus is on diversity and differentiated access to the respective groups. At LOCAL/ REGIONAL level the project is action-oriented. Participating actors should address target groups in their familiar language through networked, cross-functional learning. This promotes the connection between organisations and authorities at local and regional level. In addition, it has an integrating effect and strengthens the community and is intended to strengthen civic involvement. After completion of the project, social integration will be promoted and civic participation strengthened at SYSTEM LEVEL. It also promotes greater interaction between citizens, actors, administration and politics. The bottom-up approach will strengthen networking, communication and professional skills.Documentation is provided through regular reporting on a project homepage and is disseminated locally through press reports, work in committees and network structures. In the future, a more in-depth examination of this topic is envisaged by addressing the target group via a proposal with intellectual output."
