    << Objectives >>The project 'Eco-Tourism for Social Entrepreneurship Health and Well-Being Among Youth' aims to empower young people in rural and urban communities to engage with their green areas and take innovative action towards fighting climate change through the promotion of ecotourism. By providing accessible opportunities and skills, the project seeks to foster eco-friendly mindsets and promote social entrepreneurship while addressing social and environmental challenges.<< Implementation >>The project will include a range of local and transnational activities as well as the development of resources that will aid youth to become active citizens in their communities and agents for change.These will include:- The development of a booklet on eco-tourism and a toolkit featuring non-formal methods for the creation of youth-led NGOs- The creation of a website and mobile app- LTTAs- Online webinars- Small-scale multiplier events<< Results >>The project will enable youth to become agents of change and take an active role in promoting sustainable tourism and supporting rural communities while addressing social and environmental challenges. They will learn the benefits of ecotourism and the importance of revitalising rural areas for cultural heritage, environmental sustainability, health, well-being and social entrepreneurship. The resources will be utilised by youth, youth workers and stakeholders at a local, national and EU level.

    << Objectives >>Obj1-To network transnationally, integrate cross-sectoral practices and enhance the competencies of 8 youth workers to address common rural communities’ issues going beyond borders. Obj2-To build the competencies of 16 other youth volunteers to reach out to youth rural/remote communities, PROMOTE youth activism and CONNECT with local policymakers. Obj3-To motivate and EMPOWER 60 other youth to undertake 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM campaign events with 240 youth and local policy makers.<< Implementation >>Through international on/offline networking & training for experience sharing, we will exchange & integrate diverse expertise, and build capacity to use appealing tools, uploaded on a safe platform. Then, on/offline, we’ll train 16 youth volunteers transnationally to impact 60 other youths locally. The latter will organise 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM campaign events nationally to include & activate 240 youths from diverse backgrounds, who visualise their stories digitally on the project platform.<< Results >>4 CSOs newcomers will have a transnational partnership, on/offline networking and training to enhance competencies of 8 youth workers and 16 volunteers to reach out and activate 60 local volunteers, raise awareness and motivate 240 diverse youths to initiate 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM campaign events as part of EU democratic life. On the safe BeActive platform, the participants will digitally tell their stories, showcasing initiatives for change to responsibility towards nature and society.

    << Objectives >>UP-Root’s project objectives are to promote sustainable city development, increase capacity to engage in and knowledge of democracy, and increase EU awareness. The project addresses current EU priorities on the environment, democratic participation and EU awareness. We aim to increase youth’s capacity to engage in political debate on climate change and sustainable development. We will promote young people’s voices in regional, national and European politics.<< Implementation >>We plan to implement the following activities:-Module on democracy and the environment, including 1 LTTA-Module on sustainable city development, including 1 LTTA-Youth-led webinars-Creation of guidebooks and open letters based on the 2 modules-Online and in-person dissemination-3 TPMs -Follow-up and evaluation<< Results >>UP-Root will increase awareness of sustainability and democratic methods. The project will increase youth’s confidence in the EU’s ability to tackle climate change, and increase youth voter turnout in the 2024 EU elections. It will promote sustainable city development and promote green practices on a local and global scale. We will increase youth’s capacity to research and advocate for environmental issues. This will promote young voices in global debate.

    << Objectives >>ON STAGE aims to empower young people to engage with political issues through theatre, creating accessible materials for the 2024 EU elections, and promoting social inclusion of marginalised youth and ethnic minorities in the national and EU political process. Through the activities and results, the project aligns with Erasmus+ priorities and the Youth Participation Strategy, promoting democratic culture and awareness.<< Implementation >>ON STAGE includes two theatre-based LTTAs where participants will develop and showcase their creative talents by writing, performing and recording their productions. There will be local activities aimed at addressing the socio-political issues affecting youth, the development of a Toolkit and a Guidebook tailored towards addressing marginalised youth issues and participation in the EU elections. The project will have a website, host online webinars, and organise multiplier events.<< Results >>ON STAGE will enhance civic engagement in disadvantaged youth from ethnic minority backgrounds and facing economic, geographical and cultural obstacles. They are expected to develop critical citizenship skills and be encouraged to vote in the European elections, increasing their social participation to advocate for change on matters of importance for them. Partners are expected to increase their intercultural skills and capacity to offer more opportunities with innovative methods.
