Furthermore, the project will help youth workers gain new competences, improve the quality of youth work and enable 18 young Europeans to do EVS in another country/continent. The result of the project will be a stable and sustainable network of 9 organisations willing to host and send volunteers with fewer opportunities abroad, 14 EVS projects for youth with fewer opportunities abroad, follow-up EVS projects, an EVS supervision training module and an improved quality of youth work. The primary target group are young people aged 18 to 30 in each partner organisation, preferably youth with fewer opportunities. This project will support their further personal development and preparation for the project. Secondary target group of the project are a project coordinator and 3-6 youth workers in each partner organisation which are actively involved in work with these young people. The youth workers will gain new intercultural and professional experience during this project. The local community in all partner organisations will also greatly benefit from the project – especially in terms of intercultural learning and tolerance. The following activities will take place during the project: - Partnership building seminar (10 project coordinators + KERIC experts) - EVS (14 young people with fewer opportunities) - 6 EVS supervisions during the second month of the EVS (KERIC coordinator + European coordinator) - Final meeting (9 project coordinators + 1 expert) Through the youth mobility projects, this project will help to solve the issues connected with the community where the young people with fewer opportunities come from. By motivating the young people to change their lives, gradual steps will be taken to the change of their community as such. We expect that the employability of young people with fewer opportunities at the labour market will be increased. Secondly, we expect that the living conditions of the young people and their community will be improved in the long run – especially issues of poverty, social exclusion and isolation. Other themes that will be particularly addressed by the project are: cultural diversity prejudice, racism, xenophobia participation of young people in public life inclusion of young people with less opportunities global issues European, Asian and Latin American awareness Underdevelopment of rural areasThe methods of work follow the principles of non-formal education.

Due to statistical data and reality facts, Maghweb has the strong certainty that communication must be professional, focused on beneficiaries and with specific languages and tools; communication can enhance social action, drop down barriers and add value to local work. Moreover, Maghweb believes that communication techniques can be used also in the No-Profit world, in order to make it more concrete and near to beneficiaries' needs. The project aimed to give specific help to those NGOs that work with young women, victims of violence. Maghweb has conducted an analysis (through questionnaires and interviews) of the needs of Corporación Amiga Joven (Colombia) and Jeevanrekha Parishad (India), the two partner organisations. The results show the economic and logistic difficulties that NGOs face when they need to reach their target groups, their beneficiaries, stakeholders and sponsors. The biggest problem in communication is the lack of competences of internal staff, the lack of resources for external communicators and the sensitive topic, thus the difficulties to safely communicate with the beneficiaries. The project aimed at the capacity building of organisations through the competence development of their staff.General objective: Capacity building of organisations who work with young women (who are or not victims of violence) for strengthening their ability to fulfill their mission over time, thereby enhancing the organisations’ ability to have a positive impact on lives and communitiesSpecific objectives:-Fostering cooperation and exchange of good practices in the field of youth between Programme Countries and Partner Countries from different regions of the world, specifically between organisations working with young women (who are or not victims of violence)-Improving organisations’ capacity in communication through the competence development of their staff-Creating an international network of organisations who work with young women for the strengthened advocacy of their mission and for the increased visibility of their activitiesYouth workers involved in the project improved their abilities due to the knowledge of the newest and most effective communication techniques, for women, NGOs & the community. Professional and personal abilities were developed to improve the quality of work with disadvantaged people. The project increased the partners' network, sharing results of the project and promoting the participation of other youth workers/NGO staff in the online training.

In the light of recent re-emergence of xenophobic tendencies in Europe, we believe the same process should be initiated and developed with regard to Europe-Asia relations. As more and more European citizens fear the “clash of civilizations” and the influx of migrants from countries with predominantly Muslim populations, we need to provide young people from Europe and Asia with opportunities to co-exist outside the stereotypical context of “isolated migrant diasporas vs. local communities”. Volunteering and youth projects constitute an excellent chance to do so. We believe the challenge of “building bridges” through youth work calls for systematic, long-term cooperation among European and Asian organisations. This, in turn, requires effort in order for partners to generate necessary potential and expertise. The overall aim of the project is to create conditions and develop potential that will allow European and Asian partners collaborate more effectively and on a regular basis in the field of youth work. This calls for framing specific standards of cooperation and methods for ensuring quality in the implementation of youth projects and volunteering activities envisioned in initiatives undertaken by European and Asian entities. First of all, the project is designed to pool the expertise and experiences of all involved partners. Another goal of the project is to provide a chance for exchanging practices and experiences with regard to management, risk handling and communication in Europe-Asia youth projects. All partners wish to enhance their organisational potential for cooperation by developing a set of methods, tools, solutions and practices that will set a common standard of high-quality operations in the organisation of youth activities and volunteering, taking account of relevant cultural and social differences. In order to share experience, skills and tools and to create the final product of the project (guidelines of the project management with the toolkit for international youth workers) we will use the following methods: transfer of methodologies and instruments, teamwork and cooperative learning. All in all, the experience and outcomes of this project will serve as an impulse and basis for a sustained Europe-Asia collaboration model, where quality is assured through commonly developed methods and tools that allow for a better understanding of the impact of social and cultural differences.

The project answers to the European Institutions’ call for more educational opportunities related to local and international culture heritages: cultural patrimony serves as a tool to develop young people critical skills and stimulate a sense of ownership, thus fostering social cohesion and fighting discrimination. Within the project, cooperation between Programme and Partner countries and exchange among participants will encourage intercultural citizenship education thanks and through the celebration of cultural heritage.FuSION project will develop innovative tools and methodologies based on the valorisation of the (inter)cultural heritage to support the efforts and quality of work of youth workers fostering participation and to enrich learning processes of young people. The developed approaches will support the continuous professional development of youth workers in partner countries, improving the quality of youth work, and the engagement of the local communities in volunteering activities involving international volunteers and interactive actions.
