"<< Background >>Non-formal education is an extensively used and intensely debated notion in the field of youth. It stands for a range of key learning principles, methodologies and approaches in the youth field, emphasizing the learner's intrinsic motivation, voluntary participation, participation in democratic life and critical thinking. It is widely acknowledged and recognized that non-formal education provides unique learning opportunities to young people on a daily basis. The non-formal education industry is committed to promoting and developing formal education. The industry supports and coordinates the education of children, youth and grown-ups throughout the non-formal education field increasing young peoples' general and academic insight and skills and enhance the ability and desire to take responsibility for their own life and promote active citizenship. Thus, the main objective of this project is to develop a new, innovative, qualitative and effective mobile program of non-formal education for youth learners to develop their skills of leadership, responsibility, self-motivation and sense of belonging as well as key competences. Over the past year, the situation under the influence of Covid-19 has created a gap in the involvement of young people in social activities. The project team has identified several reasons: loss of motivation, apathy, irritability, isolation from peers and society as a whole, young people are attacked by negative, harassing thoughts. Ever more young people spend their daily lives in social networks and in the social world, both studying and working, and spending time with their peers. This is a signal that the impact of covid-19 has created a huge gap between relationships, communication, collaboration and participation in social life, thus promoting active citizenship among young people. The project team sees an opportunity to fill this gap by stimulating the realization of a potential of young people by providing appropriate encouragement and with the MoPYL, which would not only restore self-motivation to engage in social activities, but also promote skills of leadership, responsibility, self-motivation as well as sense of belonging. The context and the main objective of the project goes in line with the aims of the local Agency to promote youth activity and mobility, participation in youth volunteering, non-formal education and youth information programs and projects, and to promote non-formal education of young people in the context of lifelong learning and all priorities of the cooperation partnerships as well as the national priority.The non-formal education sector recognizes organizations of different fields: social, education, religion, culture. The consortium of this project consists of organizations covering three sectors: social, education and religion. In this respect the project consortium ensures not only a cross-sectoral approach, but also a transferability of the project results additionally foreseeing to transfer the project results to a sector of culture.The Mobile Program for youth learners is planned for one school year starting from September 1, ending in August 31 (since the project is to start on November 1, the project team shall manage activities regarding the Mobile Program starting from January 1, ending December 31) similarly to general education of Latvia, Spain and Romania.The target group 1 of the project is young people from age of 13 - 15 and youth workers - teachers, who work with these young people. Since the project partners have already discussed the possible Mobile Program among their organizations' young people, the project consortium recognizes the possibility and direction of how the needs (leadership, belonging, responsibility, self-motivation) of the target group of young people may be met. As to the other target group - leaders, teachers working with the target group 1, the MoPYL will ease the teaching and working with young people of teenage group.<< Objectives >>The project promotes Erasmus+ Programme's priority ""Inclusion and diversity in all fields of education, training, youth and sport"" as the most relevant. Additional priorities promoted by this project are development of key competences and supporting teachers, school leaders and other teaching professions. Additionally, topics addressed by the project are creating new, innovative, joint curricula and inclusion, promoting equality and non-discrimination. All of the priorities and both topics will be ensured through the main project output - the Mobile Program for Youth Learners, by non-formal methods applied for each lesson, as well as an intensive 3-day training course for teachers (target group 2) and 4-day teaching course for the young people (target group 1). The main objective of the project is to develop young people's leadership, responsibility and self-motivation skills, to take responsibility in order to teach / lead next youth leaders, as well as to strengthen a sense of belonging in young people in social communities. The project team will ensure this through a one-year mobile training program developing lifelong key competences (Literacy, Language, Personal, Social and Learning, Cultural Awareness and Expression) based on nine Christian core values: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The main horizontal priority of Inclusion and Diversity will be ensured by collaborating with local community social institutions that shall purposefully address the young people from families or institutions at social risk for whom it is hard to involve and less opportunities to be included in different social life activities.The main project result produced will be a a mobile education program that is adaptable to different sectors of formal and non-formal education for youth learners starting from thirteen years. This program shall support teachers (San Gabriel School) and teaching leaders (Scout Society and Krimulda Congregation). Through this mobile education program, the project will promote young people’s sense of initiative - leadership, self-motivation and social entrepreneurship - responsibility. The Mobile Program shall be freely accessible through the use of open licenses in order to support teachers and leaders of non-formal education organizations throughout Latvia in Latvian, Spain in Spanish, Romania in Romanian and throughout other EU Member States and outside in English.The main goal under the main objective of this project is to develop a new, innovative, qualitative and effective mobile program of non-formal education for youth learners in order to develop their skills of leadership, responsibility, self-motivation and sense of belonging as well as key competences based on the 9 Christian core values.Specific goals under the main objective of the project are as follows:1) to promote development of lifelong key competences of a) literacy, b) language, c) personal, social and learning, d) cultural awareness and expression.2) to support teachers (San Gabriel School) and teaching leaders (Scout Society and Krimulda Congregation);3) to promote young people’s sense of initiative and social entrepreneurship;4) to create new, innovative, qualitative and effective mobile program (curriculum);5) to promote inclusion and diversity by encouraging equality and non-discrimination among youth facing cultural differences, social, economic, geographical barriers and barriers linked to discrimination of gender, ethnicity, religion, beliefs.<< Implementation >>The implementation of this project will allow to look at the problem more broadly, thus offering a solution to a wider range of young people and a wider usage spectrum. Partners are needed to develop a more diverse, comprehensive and thorough program based in particular on the needs, necessitates and values ​​of young people's personal development, as well as training youth workers. The project also needs partners' wide experiences from different sectors - religion, education, social. Each of the partners in this project will share their experience and will gain from the development of a certain field of its organization.The main objective of this project is to develop young people's skills of leadership, responsibility and self-motivation, as well as to strengthen a sense of belonging in young people in social communities. There are 6 main activities planned within the project lifecycle. Each activity is planned in order to help achieve the main project objective, main goal, specific goals, Programme's priorities and aims of tasks:1. Designing of a Mobile Program (PPR). All partners will jointly work on the development of PPR in order to reach the main project objective. Lesson plans will be developed in a way as to motivate young people to lead next youth groups, to take responsibility upon their actions and to create an atmosphere of belonging. This will be ensured through the 9 Christian core values. Additionally, belonging will be promoted by maintaining an open, curious mindset, developing their self-awareness to feel belonged, by cultivating relationships for a sense of belonging, discerning the difference between a true sense of belonging and just “fitting in”. Belonging is the key factor of promoting inclusion, equality and non-discrimination of youth of different backgrounds and experiences. LRBM will be ensured through aims of every lesson plan, but through different non-formal methods and approaches. Key competences will be developed by non-formal methods applied to each lesson by Scout. All of this will result in a new, innovative curriculum thus supporting teachers (Gabriel) and teaching leaders (Scout, Krimulda).2. Testing of PPR by regular feedback will ensure that the Mobile Program is in particular developed on the needs and desires of young people. 3. An intensive 3-day training course (TC3) led by WG7 leader, S.Zalupe, C.Sfirlogea, S.Temprado for the whole project team prior to TC4 will ensure a highly professional approach in teaching the young people, which will result in a raised awareness and knowledge of the values promoted by this project, including the main objective, main goal, specific goals, Programme's priorities and aims of tasks.4. An intensive 4-day teaching course (TC4) in each partner country for all target groups. TC4 is an integral part of PPR, therefore all participants will not only learn and exchange experience during TC4, but will additionally continue to work on the development of PPR. This intensive course will boost up and refresh qualities and values taught since January thus rooting them into young people's minds. This activity will in particular promote the main objective, Programme's priorities and aims of tasks.5. ME in Latvia, Spain and Romania simultaneously - this activity will be organized by all participants. The aim of ME is to boost up dissemination of the project results and its values of LRBM. The project teams will invite the necessary experts of the field of project scope. This activity is crucial for follow-up and sustainability of the project.6. Communication and dissemination throughout the project lifecycle is necessary in order to reach stakeholders and promote project's values to ever wider audiences and in particular sectors other than represented by the project consortium in order to ensure a transferability of the project's results. This activity is necessary to promote values of EC and Erasmus+ Programme along with the values of the project.<< Results >>During the project lifecycle the project team will develop a Mobile Program adoptable to different sectors, simultaneously practicing it in three partner countries - Latvia, Romania and Spain, in weekly lessons. The triple practices will help update each lesson developed jointly by all partners and youth through feedback of the young people and teaching staff, taking into account the principle of teaching and learning. For a graphic design of roles and responsibilities, please see Annex 2, 'Project Team'. The learners of Krimulda Sunday School, Scout Society and San Gabriel School's branch of education of interests will be asked to give a feedback after each lesson. Professionals of San Gabriel School will supervise the development of the Mobile Program regarding the aspect of methodology, maximized digitalization of the project outputs, inclusion and equality. Leaders of Scout Society will supervise the development of the Mobile Program regarding the aspect of initiative, social entrepreneurship, greener approaches, non-formal methods of the project activities, cultural awareness, inclusion and equality. And Krimulda Congregation will supervise the development of the Mobile Program regarding the aspect of individual approach towards each learner, inclusion, equality, active promotion of the 9 core values, LRBM and key competences. Krimulda is a leader in identification of the needs of young people through individual approach. Thanks to such an individual approach, teachers of Krimulda are able to stimulate young people's sense of belonging and responsibility, as well as self-motivation.Youth learners shall be asked for a feedback in accordance with the themes covered by the MoPYL after their weekly classes. Having acted in the previously mentioned manner for one full school year, the project team expects to have a first course non-formal education curriculum for youth learners ready. The MoPYL will be available in all project partner mother tongues - Latvian, Spanish and Romanians, as well as in English. MoPYL in all four languages will be freely available through the use of open licenses in all project partner homepages and on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform. The project team expects the MoPYL to become recognizable throughout all countries not only by the free access in partners' home pages but also by the final conferences in all partner countries, where the results will be disseminated. Additionally, the project team will make available the research database for the development of the MoPYL and shall disseminate produced project results available in all partners' homepages and social media profiles. The project team has even further goals after the project lifecycle - to continue the development of the MoPYL for non-formal education learners for the second course. It is necessary to continue the started work because the teenage is not just one year, but it lasts for several years - latest till sixteen in accordance with the Development of Human Psychology. The first course of the MoPYL is planned mostly for thirteen year old teenagers. Non-formal education organizations unlike regular schools do not form classes of definite age, therefore there - in one class, can be teenagers of different ages. This is one more aspect that a continued curriculum would help to regulate."

"Based on the real need and shared by all partners to emphasize training in our students aimed at social and labor entrepreneurship, we consider the creation of a strategic partnership for the development of a collaborative TV channel between the centers that allowed the development of competences, both on the part of the educators involved, and of all the students who came to work on this project. We see that in recent years all the emphasis has been placed on the teaching methodology, creating new pedagogical models that focus a lot on ""how to teach"" and that are necessary but that should not be lost sight of in the ""what"". Taking into account, in addition, the reality of the labor market in which the European Union finds itself at the moment, and the need to achieve a future for our students, we conclude that we need to promote social entrepreneurship in our students to achieve change. José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, says: ""Social entrepreneurship can be a very valuable program of change. Achieve better results for the common good. Demonstrate that it is possible to act more responsibly and equitably while still winning in the market; and become a real engine of growth in the EU. Europe must not only take part in these changes. Europe must lead them. »Work has been done in the different organizations involved with the aim of collaborating to create a teaching model that encourages social entrepreneurship, initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, and critical thinking, and that takes our students out of the school bubble in which they live, actively participating in society that surrounds them.A collaborative television channel has been created as a project integrated into the curriculum of each of the educational centers.All members of the organization have managed to expand the training offer aimed at their students, in order to promote a comprehensive education in students, developing key competencies, making them not only acquire theoretical knowledge, but also favoring learning based on practice and that encourages:- The development of competences such as linguistic competence, in mother tongue and foreign language, digital competence, sense of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, civic and social awareness (from Primary Education to Higher Education). - Interculturality and the exchange of experiences among students. - Opening new avenues of collaboration between organizations. - The implementation by teachers of projects that promote the development of skills in their students. - Sharing and learning about the experiences of other European educational centers in the form of reports, news and other formats.As tangible results, there is the creation of a web platform in which the collaborative TV channel has been published, which is freely accessible and that the partners continue to provide content after the end of the project. It is a means of communication that provides information of interest to other schools, where relevant information is displayed. In this web platform, in addition, the guide - project manual ( in English) is available, with which it is intended to share all the experience accumulated during the time that the project has lasted, the know-how, with other centers that are interested in carrying out a similar project, and that facilitates all kinds of documentation on it.It also includes a Resource Center where all members share educational resources.https://sites.google.com/fundacionbias.org/biastv/homeThis television channel and the website itself continues to broadcast videos today, and it is intended to maintain their long-term duration. A key action for the future is to achieve the sustainability of the web platform and the TV channel through economic agreements with brands that may help with the channel maintenance budget, both locally and nationally in each organization, as well as at a global level. The insertion of advertising, sponsors, on the web platform may also provide the organizations with the financial budget necessary for the maintenance of the TV channel and the collaborations between partners."
