"Project ""Augmented Reality for Environmental Education"" will seek the possibility to use the Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an educational tool for young people in Europe. The main target group of this project will be youth workers and educators who are interested in new and innovative tools for youth education and engagement. With the aim of tackling the challenge of finding new education methods that are attractive for young people, project partners will create an educational tool with Augmented Reality application that will focus on environmental education. Taking into consideration the interactive digital nature of Augmented Reality application, this tool will be used to motivate young people to learn more about the challenges and possible futures regarding the environment as well as the change of habits that is needed in order to reach more nature-friendly society. Project partners will choose environmentaleducation topics and create scan cards-posters which will be used together with already existing and developed AR application, creating not only informative reading material but also complementary interactive educational content with images and videos that will give additional insight for each of the chosen topics. This educational tool created in the project will be available for printing out and using in classrooms as well as in a digital format online free of charge, therefore youth workers and educators who are interested in innovative tools will be able to access and use it within their non-formal education programmes and activities."

In many EU countries and at the European level, there is a general desire to support and further improve youth participation, as can be seen in the strategy for the youth sector 2020-2023. The topics of the guide are - Involving young people at risk and keeping them involved - Diagnosing the needs of local communities - Understanding and cooperating with the local institutional context- Defining the objectives and action plan of your project- Monitoring and evaluating the results of your project- Evaluating your own learning - A face-to-face training programme for young people involved in civic participation projects: contains 26 lesson plans and related teaching materials that youth activists and educators can use to train and guide vulnerable (at-risk) young people involved in local change projects by addressing the questions of Why mobilise in a project? How to build a team and value individual skills in a collective approach? How to diagnose the needs of local communities and identify the local context for the implementation of initiatives to benefit local communities? Youth unemployment rate in the EU-28 increased levels of poverty and risk of social exclusion of young people. This project intends to foster sense of initiative and entrepreneurship among young people and to stimulate them to be entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs in order to build new opportunities for the future. Potential for self-employment of young people have not yet been fully realized in the European Union. Many young people have professional and vocational, but not entrepreneurial skills. They lack relevant information and financial resources that could encourage them to start own business, rent a space and buy equipment. Project idea is about networking of coworking spaces and uses across the Europe and raising awareness about its potential among public administration at regional and local level in order to boost further coworking communities and self-employment possibilities of young people. Coworking is a style of work that involves a shared working environment and independent activity. Coworking users are mostly young entrepreneurs who use the space for work, cooperation, professional development and socializing. In coworking space they can find new possibilities of mentorship and learning from experienced professionals who also use coworking space. Coworking spaces provide global networking opportunities and can be a central point for the promotion of entrepreneurship among young people. The Project is about networking of coworking spaces and users across the Europe and raising awareness of decision makers on the coworking concept and its role in promoting entrepreneurship culture among young people. The partners involved are 7, coming form: Croatia, Spain, Belgium, Latvia and Hungary. Partners have different background and represent private companies, public institutions and civil society organisations. All partners have been involved in coworking space and community management in their countries and identified possibilities and need to support young people self-employment via coworking concept. The project aims to stimulate entrepreneurship of young people, to motivate them to be responsible and active citizens, and to improve business ecosystem for young entrepreneurs through better cooperation between public, private and civil sector.
