The main goal of the project is the implementation of the nonformal method Living Library into formal education. Living library is a method of holistic approach to education to deal with own prejudices and stereotypes. Through the activities that this method implies, teachers, students and all who participate, ""read books"" ie. talk to individuals from different, often marginalized or socially labeled groups. They come into contact with their social positions, raise questions about society. A Living Library is a place where we start curiosity, reduce differences, overcome fears, acquire new knowledge, and get acquainted with different views of the world. The method's goal is to create a tolerant, solidar community and as such is an excellent tool for building a bridge between formal and non-formal education. Implementation of the method is carried out through: - a training course for teachers - organizers methods, - realization of Living Library in all partner's organizations, - training of pupils through youth workshops on various topics and volunteer actions of pupils of schools, - activities within the institution, - coordination and meetings for intellectual work - and pupils mobilities. Behind written instruction for youth workshops, the main result of the project is teacher's book for Living Libraries in schools. We wish to expand the knowledge gained through the project through the implementation of the method in Development plan, publishing manuals and free downloads, organizing seminars in the institution and the local community, participating in an expert conference, in cooperation with partners and through pedestrian education."

Our main target is to create digital balance for our students and families and offer other activities to make them aware of the lifestyle they have today and possible means of action to make changes. We also want to contribute to the awareness of the lifestyle the students have today in different parts of Europe. At the same time all schools and participants will have the opportunity to observe teachers in other school, to learn and reflect about pedagogical teaching methods. All schools will contribute with knowledge in certain areas that will influence participanting school in their upcoming school development plans. This project will:1. Change of the pedagogical methods to motivate more students - find other ways of teaching. Using new tools and learning environments and ways of thinking in teaching.2. Adapting new methods and not relaying on the books (traditional learning) to be more innovative in the way of working with students.3. Introduce new methods of work. To be more international (global citizenship), be openminded to other cultures, use ICT as tool in all subjects. In-real-life learning as part of lifelong learning.4. Adapt crosscutting subjects in projects5. Sharing - peer learning-cooperative leaning, best practise, workshops as teachers and other school staff are learning from each other.6. Improve the knowledge in how to be creative and have other learning environments than classroom. 7. Communicate and present results by using different web tools. 8. Adapting new learning environmentsParticipants will observe, participate in lectures and workshops, discuss observations, share best practise and have possibility to reflect and change their own way of teaching.Together, we will develop knowledge in how to educate our students and create a classroom where life-long learning is in focus, as well as our students adapt 21st Century skills needed in the future. A benefit is the enhance motivation of both students and teachers as they learn and present their knowledge and cooperate with others. Another benefit will be the improvement of communicative competence in foreign language as well as sharing basic values, point of views and ideas of our partners. We aim to be creative, have other learning environments than school such as outdoor learning, create eTwinning projects with our students to use digital tools in a context, motivate our students to be more physical active and reflect upon health, food and body. We are of course going to offer activities that include digital tools, cooperation, collaboration, creativity and learning more about students, lifes in other European countries as part of becoming aware of the European culture and belonging. This will be an opportunity for participants from Serbia, Iceland, Finland and Sweden to learn more about the similarities in the European community through cooperation for both teachers and students as well as they will improve their multilanguage communication skills.Though we are schools that want to give our students education that will affect their life and create balance. As part of the project we will plan for different challenges, competitions and assignments and focus on sharing brainbreaks, being physical active by walking and measuring distance - walk through Europe with digital map, give challenges to students and their family members, since we aim to affect the way of life and make all citizens more physical active for healthier lifestyles.Since we are aware of our students being online, we want to offer projects through eTwinning to involve our students in this project as well, though only teachers will be participants.

It’s a perfect cooperative tool which will allow us to bring STEM closer to our students. An active and creative STEM learning facilitates the students incorporation to the labour market, as it helps our students to make decisions, solve problems and fosters their creativity. In addition, the student’s communicative and digital competence are essential as it is a cooperative transnational project. It also improves the cooperative ability and promotes respect towards other people. All the activities expect to promote the Intereuropean dialogue and the knowledge of other languages and also promote the introduction of cooperative learning elements between nations. The main concern of all the partners is to innovate in the STEM teaching methods in order to contribute to strengthen our students entrepreneur spirit. By choosing the specific theme of Astronomy, we will thus scan the different fields of STEM studies, incorporating transdisciplinarity. Thus, a wide range of different subjects will take part in this project: Sciences, Maths, Technology, English, Arts, History, Music, PE,… The participation of primary school teachers in the project will also enable us to carry out the inter-cycle link. The common thread of the project will be the creation of a sundial in the schools, or if possible in the city of the partners. The result of the project will thus be available to a varied audience: pupils, teachers, parents and the entire local population. We will create a social link between the different actors of the project. In addition to the creation of the sundial, our students will work on other activities, such as the creation of a 3D model of constellations, representation of the surface of the Moon, quizzes, “Padlets” and interactive maps on the System Solar, poems and even musical performances on Space,…Students will create a virtual world around Space and use “Future Classroom”, using digital tools such as ""CoSpace"" from Lab21.0.The second main objective of the project will be to establish an inter-cycle link between kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. The little ones will present their vision of Space and then participate in the activities created for them by the older ones.Tutoring will be set up between young and old, which will enhance the work done and allow students to increase their self-esteem.The students will be the most favoured ones, as innovation and creativity in the methodology will contribute to improve STEM teaching. Participating in this project will also improve our students' digital and linguistic competence, as they will communicate and work together on different activities.Teachers will also receive a positive benefit from it, as it will affect directly the methodology in STEM lessons as well as interdisciplinary work. Access to different educational resources, new technological tools and interdisciplinarity will lead to a profound change in the way we understand the teaching of STEM.Mobilities and communication among students, teachers and educational community are a fundamental part in a multilateral project like this, and it will not only contribute to improve linguistic competence but also to acquire a new way of understanding Europe and the society in general. Its impact will affect all families involved and the whole educational community. The project will be disseminated online: schools’ websites, eTwinning and different social networks. Parents, students and educational community will be able to access all information via these publications or through informative meetings, to which other schools in the area and education actors will be invited. European citizenship, teaching of foreign languages and new methodologies that will favour the development of basic competences, new technologies... All these things are necessary nowadays for a student to become a successful professional in the future. We want all this to be a hallmark of our schools. Finally, we hope that during this project on the theme of Astronomy, our « Students Observers Learn Astronomy And Run to Travel to Space » !"
