CONSIDER aims to develop sustainable management model (SMM) for industrial heritage sites (IHS) for the benefits of the local communities as a resource for strengthening collective identities, improving the urban landscape, promoting eco-friendly solutions, and contributing to the urban economy and a sustainablefuture of the city. It will investigate SMM for industrial heritage while exploring participatory governance models as a tool to better integrate IHS with European society. Deindustrialisation processes all around Europe give rise to social, economic and environmental problems that are resulting from structural change. Thus, there is an urgent need to find SMM to overcome these challenges. 3 research objectives are; i) To expand on what is considered as industrial heritage, how to safeguard them ii) To investigate the history of sites to identify most influential factors used to maximise the benefit iii) To explore inclusive governance and participatory models as a tool to better integrate industrial heritage with society. The innovative side of this model is its inclusive approach to the problem (regionally, sectorial, taking into consideration gender aspects, and its highlight on the exchange of knowledge, technology and labour). This novelcollaboration will be improved by through synergies, networking activities, organisation of workshop, summer school, webinars, and final conference to facilitate sharing of knowledge. The circular knowledge exchange is based on systematic and triple-helix approach between academia (universities), policymakers (municipalities), and practitioners (SME/NGO) that will contribute both in identifying problems and developing guidelines for their improvement. This research brings novelty in respect of geographic regions that previously were not sufficiently investigated and inventoried thus providing the basis for further comparative research undertakings and sustainability of the project outcomes in creation of new knowledge.

EDICULA is an innovative approach that fuses the interdisciplinary collaboration among the sectors of applied sciences in the protection of monuments with humanities disciplines using XR technologies, to develop an educational framework to advance scientific transdisciplinary synthesis. The innovation of the EDICULA project is that it emphasizes that this transdisciplinary collaboration can be instrumentalized through education, with the various universal educational tools and the experience from the emblematic Holy Sepulchre rehabilitation acting as common base. The EDICULA project will address the following requirements of the innovation, education, modernization and internationalization:·Social and educational value of European cultural heritage, its contribution to job creation, economic growth and social cohesion. The project will raise awareness of the importance of Europe's cultural heritage through education, including actions to support skills development, social inclusion, critical thinking and youth engagement. It also includes new participatory and intercultural approaches to the protection of monuments, as well as educational initiatives aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue.·Innovative practices in a digital era, with focus on actions that promote advanced methods and tools for teaching, training and learning on different levels of education, including postgraduates and experts and a broader audience enhancing social participation, economic growth and social cohesion. The EDICULA project taking as a starting point the emblematic rehabilitation of Holy Sepulchre aims a) to promote cooperation between Universities in the projects of rehabilitation and protection of CH monuments b) to fuse the interdisciplinary and innovative research in the rehabilitation of the Holy Aedicule, its context and setting, to trans-cut with the history of architecture in Jerusalem c) to create immersive and interactive educational material and dissemination by using AR technology, d) to reform the curricula of the three postgraduate programs of the EDICULA partners, in order to promote transfer knowledge and create new courses that in a complimentary approach will lead to the promotion of a Joint Master Degree in the field of protection of monuments, e) to develop the EDICULA Teachers’ Course, in order to train higher education teachers to promote the transdisciplinary scientific synthesis as a key element for innovative education, f) to proceed with the organization of multiplier events and special conference sessions. Although the two basic axes of the universities are Education and Research, their interconnection is not always projected into Society. The EDICULA project aims to connect society with higher education in order to transfer research achievements to the wide audience, using the field of Cultural Heritage (CH) as a carrier. Innovation can serve as the catalyst to transform research into novel educational approaches to achieve authentic learning. The wide audience and experts are approached through digital games and educational toolkits in the field of protection of monuments. The added value of the project is that it aims to transfer the connection of society with higher education by teaching the importance of innovative transdisciplinary scientific synthesis to teachers in post-graduate programs in scientific fields other than CH.EDICULA is distinguished into four Work Packages that will lead to the achievement of the project. Within the duration of EDICULA project four Multiplier Events and one Teaching Activity will be carried out.

Global labour markets are in constant change in response to emerging mega trends like ageing societies and rapid urbanisation. We are witnessing the replacement of traditional occupations by creative communities whose raw material is their ability to address those challenges, imagine new solutions and innovate. A major role in this change is played by the creative industries (CI) defined as “industries that origin in individual creativity and talent and which have a potential for wealth and job creation through the generation and exploitation of IP”. The CI are one of the most dynamic sectors in Europe (representing 3.3% of EU economy, and 3% of employment), but in Israel are characterized by a small market, with few employment possibilities and a need to compete globally.CLEVER aspires to be the catalyst of change in HE and vocational training for creative professions as well as the entire creative economy eco-system. This will be done by ensuring that graduates in creative disciplines are fitted with updated leadership and entrepreneurship capacities and skills that enable them to maintain life-long portfolio careers and to enhance 21st century creative economies.CLEVER will:• Develop a Creative Leadership & Entrepreneurship strategic plan for each participating Israeli HEI to serve as a roadmap for short and long-term implementation, including: curricula updates, new academic and LLL modules and business models.• Develop new teaching capacities and methods in the Israeli HEIs aligned to creative leadership modules• Pilot of academic and LLL educational modules To start a change through the entire Israeli eco-system CLEVER will develop:• Benchmarking report between the Israeli and EU creative economy practices• Creative Israel 2020 Whitepaper policy recommendationWith these outcomes CLEVER encompass all stakeholders in the creative economy thus ensuring impact, exploitation and dissemination of results beyond the project's lifetime.

Engage2innovate (E2i) will investigate and address barriers to implementing EU security research and innovation outputs, including: poor engagement with end-users, stakeholders and citizens; lack of front-end research and problem framing; and ineffective innovation processes. E2i adopts a human-centred, transdisciplinary approach (as demonstrated in CCI – GA: 787100), recognising innovation as requiring both key elements: novelty and implementation. Social Innovation is a human-centred approach to developing meaningful solutions rooted in a rich understanding of end-user contexts, such that novel ideas (inventions) are actually implemented. Through effective engagement with security policymakers, researchers, and practitioners across the quadruple helix, E2i will champion good practice in Social Innovation and human-centred design. Researchers will demonstrate and deliver the E2i Security R&I Toolbox: (i) enabling adoption of Social Innovation and human-centred design approaches to engage citizens and end users in security R&I; (ii) supporting security R&I actions in framing and designing security solutions and outputs and optimising their acceptance and adoption; (iii) providing benchmarks, standards and quality criteria for security solutions through Responsible Research and Innovation; and thereby (iv) strengthening EU security research and innovation. To promote the engagement of citizens and end users, E2i will develop a Societal Development Plan describing the current landscape of Social Innovation. This will provide guidance on how the approach can strengthen EU security research and innovation, and include an explanatory conceptual model and practical exemplars to inspire and motivate. Finally, E2i will build on the enthusiasm and inspiration of the next generation of researchers and design thinkers through two international Social Innovation Design Challenges, showcasing new innovative thinking and solution concepts while fostering adoption of E2i outputs.
