The goal is to understand and address the knowledge gaps and hesitations that limit the adoption of AI in day-to-day business practices, helping workers to cultivate basic digital competencies to meet modern labour market needs.<< Implementation >>PAITool will engage 400 SMEs and conduct a survey to understand SME needs in adopting AI in their business. An AI training course will be developed in English and Slovak to address these challenges, and a pilot will be deployed with at least 60 participants. Its impact will be evaluated through the collection of feedback. An online portal and eLearning platform will be developed to host the course online, and the project will be disseminated through numerous channels.<< Results >>PAITool will develop the AI course on the eLearning platform, which will be delivered to at least 60 participants, directly helping upskill employees and support the digital transformation of SMEs. It will remain online enabling the upskilling of more participants, such as the unemployed. Other outputs include the SME Digitisation Needs Analysis Report and the Feedback-Evaluation Report, that will enable future projects, educators, trainers and policymakers to build on the project’s success.

Most youths lack the soft skills to present themselves to employers and conversely employment agencies & youth workers do not always understand the potential the youths in front of them have. We aim to not only improve communication between youths and potential employers but also give the tools to gauge social skills & aptitudes better<< Implementation >>RISE wants to address the above by implementing a new method & platform to help the employability of young people. Pilots within 3 countries with youth workers & employment agencies will help train agents to recognise the potential in young people and offer them a pathway to explore & present themselves better. Workshops with youth workers, an online training curriculum & digital materials will help the employment agents improve their success in placing youths in better jobs more suited to them<< Results >>We will deliver a short study on the youth employment challenges in the 3 participating countries, adapting our method to cater for identified needs. We will build the online platforms and train 20 youth workers as multipliers that will go back to their agencies and help their colleagues use the platforms. Indirectly we will be helping youths get better job opportunities, be more confident in their skills and ensure equal opportunities for all.

One of the specific characteristics of higher education as a high value of the knowledge created and transferred in education is the activity for organizing and conducting educational-scientific conferences. The sharp need for education and science to move entirely to distance form due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19 has placed a number of universities that have reached a high level of scientific and educational credibility in a state of lack of preparedness and ability to maintain the level of conference events. To help universities maintain the quality they have achieved in the traditional academic standard, the partnership on this project will focus its efforts on illuminating the specifics of distance learning when organizing conference events in all components of organization and conduct, technical dimensions and recommendations. , as well as the qualification of the academic staff in the universities. This structures the project into three main activities - development of an intellectual product ""Guidelines for organizing and conducting conferences in remote form"" (the basis of project implementation), conducting training for teachers in order to gain sufficient understanding of the specific approach and new dimensions of quality and lastly, holding real conference events by the three university institutions. The partnership covers university institutions from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia (sports sciences), and an organization specializing in distance education from Malta. The project emphasizes the aspiration of the partners to achieve a significant regional impact along with the European challenges for general digital education. The target group of the project presents in the first place the teachers in the institutions of higher education. Upon completion of the project, the results of the implementation will be expressed in the following:-a tool will be created to actively confront obstacles in the educational process in emergencies such as the COVID-19 crisis and the need to move remotely to university activities;-conditions will be created for increasing the number of participants (including foreign ones) in educational and scientific conferences with a significant reduction of the spent resources;-a prerequisite will be created for increasing the use of distance conferences in the learning process through the developed skills of teachers to include them as a teaching method;-a document will be available - Guidelines for organizing and conducting remote conferences;-the widest possible access to the document at European and international level will be ensured by presenting it in English;-regional use will be achieved through translations into Bulgarian, Romanian and Serbian;-will create a basis for objectively establishing the quality of digital conferences as a means of developing education and science;-the qualification of lecturers, who are an active part of the participants in conferences organized in digital form, will be increased. The achieved results of the project will have an impact mainly on the quality of higher education and communication of scientific knowledge. In the emergency of pandemics such as those caused by COVID-19 or other global crises, academics will have a much calmer acceptance of the need to transfer academic life to a remote environment. The achieved goal - created conditions for organizing and conducting quality educational and scientific conferences will affect different levels of functioning of higher education systems, and in the first place the impact will affect the project participants, institutions, higher education systems and maintenance of the quality of HE."

Despite the existing gap, with the US giants the European Cloud Community (ECC) is growing and leading the creation of Single Digital Market in Europe. Still, to strength such market, its fragmentation needs to be reduced. Beyond that, European market is largely dominated by SME that are struggling to adopt cloud services (beyond email and cloud storage) to innovate their business due to the lack of “cloud-culture” and trust toward cloud services. European Commission is leading a number of key actions (e.g. GDPR) to overcome these and other barriers, but it requires the help and the support of the ECC, in terms of a common technology vision, policies and recommendations. While strengthening the Digital Market is beyond the capabilities of European research funding programmes, a clear mandate is to lead the definition of the Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda for Cloud Computing that should provide recommendations and strategies to guide the future of European Cloud services and their market regulations. H-Cloud addresses this challenge by creating a sustainable forum of stakeholders representing the Cloud Computing research, industry and users with the aim to define a common vision for the future of Cloud Computing in Europe. Based on the outcomes of previous actions, H-Cloud will establish the ECC forum as a live community of organisations and individuals that will collaborate around different themes with the aim of addressing challenges and opportunities at research, technological, policy, standardisation and organisational level. The creation of a common vision on Cloud Computing, will be the key to unlock the potential of Cloud Computing to support the creation of a Digital Single Market. Through an open governance model and valuable incentives, H-Cloud will ensure that ECC Forum will outlast the project duration, becoming a valuable asset of the whole ECC.

Although the education support system aims to identify difficulties as early as possible, identify their causes and provide timely support, learning difficulties are usually only detected in primary school. The key people who need to recognize learning difficulties and provide learning support to children with specific learning disabilities are teachers. Teachers should not only be able to adapt the General Curricula, the classroom environment, but also be able to see the features of specific learning disabilities, apply for assessment of students' special educational needs in a timely manner, apply special learning methods and techniques. After an oral survey of associate partners it turned out that most teachers do not have enough information about specific learning disabilities, their learning difficulties, effective learning methods and techniques. The main problem is solving by the project partners is the lack of attention in education systems for children with developmental disabilities, especially reading and letter comprehension. There is a lack of reliable methodologies and knowledge of how educators can educate a child with this disorder. In Lithuania, Malta, Bulgaria is due to severely faced with this problem. Solution4SLD is an innovative Strategic Partnership project whose aim is to develop a new e-learning platform with the content of created 72 integrated digital educational content worksheets and templates for teachers and 18 interactive tasks for children with specific learning disabilities. Also during the project will be created a handbook for teachers and a manual on how to use the problem.Project target group - primary and secondary school students from 1-6 classes) with specific learning and reading disabilities, teachers who teach these children, and other pedagogical staff. The target group of the project is representatives of the Associated partners. The selection of these associated partners was implemented in order to involve the educational institutions of the project countries, which was the most interested in the project problem, and the schools from disadvantaged regions which will be able to achieve the results of the project foremost. It is planned to involve approximately 500 students and 105 teachers. The project consortium consists of a wide range of partners from different cultures and experiences, from a range of service backgrounds and scales that will represent the various stakeholders involved, and that will bring expertise in different fields directly connected with the objectives of the project.
