    "The aim of the project is to improve the universities’ educational offer by developing, testing and deploying an innovative course entitled ""I’m a Startup - I, Student & Entrepreneur"" that enables to develop students’ key competencies (universal skills) with the use of Design Thinking approach as well as business model thinking mindset (thinking in terms of the business model of enterprises and personal business models). The course will also support students in educational and career paths planning. Project products will improve teaching processes by adapting study programs to current labor market requirements and implementing a study program design approach based on career and reference job canvas (by February 2023).As part of the project, a unified approach to planning university teaching processes and personalization of the learning path will be developed and implemented at Partner universities by providing project’s products to students, university staff members - lecturers, university management staff, and career offices.Thanks to the development and implementation of the new course, the training programs currently offered by partner universities will be extended with a new content and appropriately selected and tested methods/techniques used to develop students' competences, with particular emphasis on key competences, which are often neglected in favor of specialist skills. Realization of the goal will also introduce real changes at the university level (forms of classes, teaching methods) adapting the content of education to the requirements of the labor market thanks to the application based on career canvas. Such activities will significantly improve the quality of education at the level of a every single student (new competences, tools supporting the development of a professional career, awareness raising).20 students (from 4 universities x 5 people) will participate in each edition of the International Summer School run by partner universities. In addition, 25 teaching staff members will participate in the OMNI-BEAST International Academy. Approximately 150 people will participate in the planned meetings for the project results dissemination.The most important project results:•Program & content of the course ""I’m a Startup - I, Student & Entrepreneur""•Job position / occupation Canvanizing Body of Knowledge•Canvas catalog for new majors and related professions along with the GoldenReads catalog•Catalog of key skills with guides for their development•Podcast library with specialists in newly developed canvas•Curriculum of workshop for academic staff members - OMNI-BEAST AcademyThe project results will be available in English (some of the materials will be available in the national languages of the partners) and as Open Educational Resources, which will extend the range of the project's impact and the use of its results.As a result of the project, a new course ""I am a startup - I, Student & Entrepreneur"" will be included in the educational offer of the universities, which will be the basis for its further development. Guides for developing key skills will be used to plan classes for subjects, taking into account the learning outcomes focused on the key skills. Other domestic and foreign universities outside the consortium will also be able to benefit from the results of the project achieved.The project will also create the stable foundations for international cooperation and exchange of experience/knowledge between universities from Poland, Italy, Spain and Portugal as well as institutions from Greece."

    "The aim of the project is to improve the quality and suitability of knowledge and skills of tourism (and related) major students’ in 4 universities. These will be done by development, testing and implementation of innovative training on usage of ICT in sustainable tourism development. What is more the universities curricula will be adjusted to meet the current labor market requirements by XII 2021.The achievement of the aim will also introduce the real changes on the university level (subjects’ topics, educational methods and techniques) by adjusting educational content (projects’ outcomes, syllabuses etc.) to job market current requirements. The project’s activities undertaken will also significantly improve teaching quality of every single student (new skills and competences, innovative tools for career development, increased students’ consciousness concerning the sustainable tourism development). The main participants of the project are 45 tourism science students that will take part in International Summer Schools run by partner universities (3 editions x 5 students x 3partners) and 20 universities teaching staff members (5 staff members x 4 partners) who will participate in International Academy of ICT for sustainable development. The seminars that will disseminate project results will be attended by 200 people including higher education sector (students, graduates, universities teaching staff members), government and self-government administration representatives, NGO, media and tourism experts.The most important project’s results are the following:• Course ""ICT as a tool for development and promotion of sustainable tourism development""• Casebook ""Treasury of knowledge""• A set of 8 e-learning courses for the course• Educational board game on sustainable tourism development• Student's Guidebook and Teacher Toolkit• Scientific publicationsAll the project’s results will be in English version (part of the deliverables will be translated to native languages of partners) and will be made available as an Open Educational Resources, what will enable the project to have a wider and more significant effect on target audience. As a result of project’s realization universities educational offer will be extended by new innovative training course ""ICT as a tool for development and promotion of sustainable tourism development"" which will be the reference model for further development of curricula. All the project’s results may be used by the universities in Europe and all over the world. The project will also create solid base for international cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of creating sustainable tourism between universities from Poland, Switzerland, Germany and Serbia."

    "The project “Research and teaching case studies as a tool for transfer of current knowledge from business practice to academia” is elaborated within the Erasmus+ programme for the creation of international strategic partnerships in higher education, businesses and other institutions for the purpose of improving the teaching quality, cooperation with practise and support and development of innovations. The project seeks to create conditions for research into current approaches to entrepreneurship in companies and to change the content and methods of teaching of entrepreneurship towards greater student participation and better cooperation with businesses.The project focuses on two forms of case studies - research and teaching. Both forms of case studies are widely used in the academic environment, enabling academics to connect with the real world of business and transfer knowledge from practice to research and teaching. The project objectives are:1. development of knowledge about forms and ways of business decision-making, business opportunities and business process in selected countries with focus on application of effectual/ causal logic;2. developing the competencies of researchers in the field of research case studies;3. development of competencies of pedagogical staff in the field of creation and teaching of case studies;4. creation of innovative teaching materials - case studies of the ""Harvard"" type;5. involvement of practitioners (case study actors) as guests in the classroom;6. linking research and teaching staff with practice;7. sharing research and teaching experiences in the framework of a strategic international partnership;8. Improving the quality of research and teaching activities at the participating universities.The following schools are involved in the project:University of Entrepreneurship and Law (Czech Republic) – private non-university providing education for future entrepreneurs, managers, corporate lawyers, media and marketing experts and other experts.University College of Business in Prague (Czech Republic) – private non-university specializing in education in tourism and air transport.Paneuropean University (Slovak Republic) – a private university offering higher education studies in 20 accredited degree programs at 5 faculties (law, psychology, economics and entrepreneurship, mass media, informatics).University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow (Poland) – a private university offering programs at four faculties (management, IT, media and social communication and medical).The associated partner is PROSPERITA holding – a Czech investment group operating on the market for more than 20 years. In its portfolio, it has more than 80 companies across industries, mainly in the Czech Republic. Many of these companies operate in international markets, including Poland and Slovakia.Key project activities include:A. Creation of research case studiesEight research case studies will be developed as part of the project and a comparative multiple case study will be developed based on these eight research case studies. Case studies will be elaborated for selected subjects from the portfolio of PROSPERITA holding. Research case studies will allow the transfer of current approaches to business opportunities and business decision-making to the academic sphere and evaluation of these approaches in the context of effect theory, processing of this knowledge and subsequent transfer into practice.B. Creation of educational case studies and their testing in the classroomThe project will be created four case studies including teaching notes. Training case studies will be created for entities / firms from the affiliate portfolio. Teaching case studies will enable the transfer of current approaches to business opportunities and business decision-making to teaching at universities. Students will be able to solve real business practice examples of companies from their close region and with the possibility of immediate contact with the participants of the case study.C. An educational program aimed at creating and using case studies in teaching and researchThe project will prepare and implement an educational programme for academic staff of partner universities focused on the creation and use of case studies in the academic environment. The programme will focus on the competencies needed to carry out research using the case study method and the competencies needed to create case studies and teaching by case studies.D. Formation of an open ecosystem for cooperation in teaching, research and knowledge transfer between universities and companiesThrough the network, the research capacities of universities will be strengthened, current business knowledge will be applied to teaching, effective teaching methods (case studies) will be expanded, new teaching materials will be created and educational programs will be innovated."
