<< Background >>With a 90% deduction in tourist arrivals, it is expected that substantial revenue loss will affect around 85% of European hotels (EC 2020). As one in ten Europeans are employed in the tourism industry, this will have even further implications on unemployment rates and social services into the coming years. Research and previous surveys with small business owners in tourism, uncovered the impacts on daily operations, as hotel managers must implement and report health measures, while at the same time balance guest, staff and supplier needs. With the coronavirus pandemic persisting and tourism activity unlikely to return to 2019 levels for at least a few years, the priority challenges expected for the hotel industry include the need for health and safety management, revenue reductions, lack of liquidity and changing travel behaviour. When taking a closer look at the impacts of COVID-19 on GHG reduction efforts, an immediate effect on the mitigation of global emissions can be observed. However, a forthcoming rebound effect is expected due to increased need for energy and heating to extend the season, as well as generation of waste to implement health and safety regulations. Moreover, the lack of liquidity forces the hotel industry to put the implementation of GHG reduction measures on hold as health measures and keeping staff employed take priority. Hotel associations are, however, optimistic that if cost savings of GHG reduction measures and benefits for the brand image are properly promoted, the interest of hoteliers will be raised again. It is expected that the focus will be less on cost intensive GHG reduction measures, but rather on smaller, step-by-step investments and behavioural approaches.Despite the efforts by governments to support the recovery from the pandemic, the tourism industry experienced a strong decrease in investments compared to pre-crisis levels (EC 2020p). Considering the large share of the GDP that the tourism industry contributes in many European economies, it is crucial that additional efforts provide the industry with the tailored support needed for a sustainable recovery. Based on the stakeholder interviews and market analysis, a package with recommended initiatives to promote a green recovery of the hotel industry should be made available manly including short-term recommendations include trainings for hoteliers on behavioural and technical measures to create rapid cost effects and implement hygiene and safety regulations into their daily operations. This could also be accompanied by a step-by-step approach to facilitate the implementation of GHG reduction measures for hoteliers. In addition upskilling and the use of digital solutions can offer substantial assistance to small business owners in order to tranform their touristic product and service as a unique sustainable experience.<< Objectives >>The logic behind the SURE TO Tourism project is that such support instruments can also be developed so that they include both economic and environmental aspects in order to assist a green recovery of the hotel industry. (Opportunities for a green restart of the hotel industry arising from the COVID-19 pandemic ii development of new policies and instruments to support a green recovery).Small businesses within the tourism sector (which represent 80% of global tourism) are particularly vulnerable. The crisis is an opportunity to rethink how tourism interacts with our societies, other economic sectors and our natural resources and ecosystems; to measure and manage it better; to ensure a fair distribution of its benefits and to advance the transition towards a carbon neutral and resilient tourism economy. The period until the total recovery for the Tourism Sector, although a difficult and uncertain time, can also be seen as a preparatory period for transition to the updated face of Tourism. This recovery period offers an opportunity to adjust to the developments and trends in the industry that were already apparent before COVID-19, such as:- the growing interest in sustainable tourism, - digitisation of the tourism experience and- increased importance of authenticity and adaption to personal needs of travels. This project will focus on small Tourism businesses and the short and medium term measures that are able to support a green reopening of the tourism industry by contributing to:-A sustainable recovery-Achieving the GHG emission reduction targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-Introduction of Digital technologies and solutions -Development of the tourism product as a unique value and experience destinationThe short-term measures will include:- Trainings for hoteliers on behavioral and technical measures to create rapid cost effects and implement hygiene and safety regulations into their daily operations.- A series of themed training video courses/ webinars on how small Tourism Business can achieve a Sustainable recovery (Manage Waste minimization, Energy efficiency, Climate neutralization)- Step-by-step approach to facilitate the implementation of GHG reduction measures for hoteliers :- A Digital Guide to Zero Waste for Small Hotels- A Digital Guide on Developing a Green profile for your local community and your customers- Training for hoteliers in order to create awareness on low-cost GHG reduction potentials for employees and guests- Innovation best practices in the form of:- digital solutions for the tourism business and- development of the tourism product as a unique experience- development of the SURE To Tourism E-learning Platform - Implementation of platform- Hotel Awards to highlight and encourage sustainable initiatives and green practices by hotels which manage to recover from the pandemic crisis through the implementation of sustainable practicesThe main objective of SURE To Tourism is to address the training needs of tourism SMEs owners in key transversal skills based on new updated research, and strengthen their business activities in terms of economic social and environmental impact. SURE To Tourism is a EU partnership designed to develop core and innovative learning methods that best encourage sustainable recovery of the small tourism business , answering the need for education and training thanks to an innovative proposal based on participation and ICTs<< Implementation >>The activities framework of the project starts with the description of activities, outputs, and objectives, including associated indicators and means of verification. In its planning it has identified possible risks, in order to anticipate them and safegard the project's quality implementation. Companies with a social impact take advantage of the growing awareness of society toward social and environmental problems, transforming these challenges into enormous business opportunities. From a broader point of view, the business reason should be related to the great social and environmental challenges. Entrepreneurs are the engine of economic growth in Europe. It is a well-known fact that SMEs are the most important form of business organization in Europe, representing 99.8% of all enterprises. What is much less known is the growing importance of co-working spaces, which have become a common working place for free-lancers and young entrepreneurs, with more than 14.000 operators around the world. Coworking is a multi-dimensional booming industry and a strengthening cultural movement re-modelling the very notion of what workplace is, dedicated to providing support to those entrepreneurs who wish to go beyond the traditional schemes. However, several needs are usually identified by coworking spaces, coworkers and entrepreneurs, among which the need to improve the level of social interaction in the coworking space to increase the social impact of their activitiesThe main objective of COWLECTIVE is to address the training needs of entrepreneurs in coworking spaces in key transversal skills based on new updated research, and strengthen their business activities in terms of social and environmental impact. COWLECTIVE is a EU partnership designed to develop core and innovative learning methods that best encourage success in business activities, answering the need for education and training thanks to an innovative proposal based on participation and ICTs.The main target of COWLECTIVE are entrepreneurs in a coworking context, as well as future and wanna-be entrepreneurs in VET and C-VET contexts. They are mostly aged 25-40 entrepreneurs with high creative and technological profile, but need to upskill their soft skills to increase the social impact of their projects. Other target are all organisations that provide VET and C-VET training as well as services of support to entrepreneurs (i.e. co-working spaces, schools, entrepreneurs associations, chambers, incubators; local or regional institutions), as stakeholders. For them, COWLECTIVE will answer the need of educational resources to better provide their supporting services. COWLECTIVE proposal arise from a European partnership made of 5 EU organisations from Denmark, Poland, Spain, Italy and Greece, under the leadership of COWORKING+. Together, they will implement a series of activities and expected outputs, among which: -a Mobile report about social and environmental entrepreneurs’ skills demand according to representatives from the sector, entrepreneurs, trainers, and assessors. -a COWLECTIVE training package on the main skills needed by entrepreneurs to rise the social and environmental positive impact of their companies. This training will be developed on an online platform which will include social modules for a higher degree of collaboration and interaction. -a COWLECTIVE learning method for social impact, including recommendations on the training package, collective learning tools and network. COWLECTIVE will rely on a methodology of interaction and participation of the target groups, involving representatives of the target groups since the very beginning of the project and the development of a mobile report on skills need. COWLECTIVE will bring together the entrepreneurs with supporting stakeholders to create a wide community, sharing together good practices, business ideas and pitches, support for understanding the societal main challenges, customers’ expectations, potential impact, among others. As a result, COWLECTIVE expect to increase the level of education services provided by coworking and similar collaborative working spaces, as well as the skills of entrepreneurs oriented toward the development of companies with a significant positive social and environmental impact. COWLECTIVE expect to reach at least 500 entrepreneurs during the project life. At long term, it expects to rise the local, regional and European growth thanks to a strong network of micro and small companies implementing sustainable activities, thus contributing to territorial smart growth.

Our project will be carried by a consortium of 10 European members associated with a dozen of other partners. Seven countries are represented in the consortium: France (FormEthic & INEOPOLE), Bulgaria (RIA), Italy (EUPHORIA), Sweden (PROIFALL), Greece (EPIMORPHOTIKIS and DIAS VET), Latvia (MANTEFIELS), Romania ( COMPLEXUL MUZEAL NATIONAL MOLDOVA IASI) and Poland (ARENA I SWIAT). We are aiming at developing a more inclusive educational system. The non-responsible practices in training centres have negative impacts on the entire society. Our first objective is to contribute to “sustainable investment, performance and efficiency” by promoting CSR in the European educational field. Our first task will be to analyse the difficulties European training centres encounter and to use the findings to create tools which will enhance the efficiency and sustainability of training centres. These tools will measure the quality of training, the CSR performance, and the impact of pedagogical, social, and environmental innovations. With the help of a CSR repository and a self-diagnostic tool, the training centres will be able to measure their overall performance and create a plan of progress. The investment of training centres in their progress will be rewarded by a LABEL, or an evaluation system. Our second objective is “Extending and developing educators' competences”To enhance the skills of trainers, we are going to develop and promote: 1. CSR approach in training, 2. innovative and collaborative tools such as co-design in training, collaborative knowledge-building and techniques making learners actors of their training,3. tools to tailor responsible formal and informal trainings to meet the learners’ objectives and expectations4. collaborative learning among peers5. courses fully adapted to workplace training practices and based on simulated or real working conditions.6. and a better use of ICT in learning and teaching. Our third objective is social inclusion: training centres should welcome disabled people as often as possible. The project insists on professional equality and no discrimination in Europe. Each training centre partner will evaluate its implementation of Human Rights. The CSR Label will support the social engagement of training centres and promote intercultural and civic competences of all stakeholders. We will make four deliverables: 1. A Benchmark and Materiality report: The benchmark will focus: 1) on main quality and CSR standards, safety, environment, risks, and ethical behaviour relevant to training organisations and 2) on the different institutional and financing systems of adult continuing education in Europe. The materiality report will analyse the main difficulties encountered by the stakeholders to help us identify the most relevant social responsibility action areas for the adult continuing education sector. More than 500 stakeholders in at least 7 European countries will be interviewed.2. Online courses on CSR and Ethics in training centres: history of adult education in Europe, societal utility of adult education, environmental impact issues in the training sector, equal opportunities in training, etc.3. A repository of best responsible training practices divided in 7 sections: Scope of the guide, CSR vocabulary, Key principles for a successful CSR approach, Stakeholder dialogue and Vision, Action areas, Good practices and expected results, CSR integrated management, Key indicators. We’ll analyse environmental, social, and economic impacts at each phase of the training cycle.4. A toolkit containing 3 different tools: an online self-diagnostic questionnaire, with pre-recorded recommendations, an online tutorial explaining how to use the repository, and a list of detailed and adaptable indicators at the disposal of any training organization wanting to improve its practice.5. A CSR Report: reporting activities with extra-financial indicators to complete the project report for the Agency and ensure the sustainability of this projectGovernance and project management: set up of an ethics committee from the start to ensure that our practices are ethical and accountable to all partners.Expected Impacts: Learners will benefit from improved quality of training programs and additional opportunities to develop their skills to enter the labour market. The training centres will develop their training offer and welcome disadvantaged groups. Trainers will increase their skills and companies will be more satisfied with the training provided to their employees.Aimed at integrating CSR in the trainers’ practices and in the way vocational training centres are run, our project will promote inclusion, diversity, equality, and non-discrimination in training. It will bring added value to all stakeholders involved at the EU level: trainers, trainees, employers, funders, communities, nature and environment, the European community and future generations.

<< Background >>Consortium has identified following problems:P1/3. Consequently, young people leaving the schools or high studies too soon appear as school dropouts and this mechanism works even more when the economic system is unable to absorb the young labor force. However, early school leaving, even if it involves an individual responsibility,is related to dysfunctions in the school and the education system, which is unable to carry the young people sufficient levels of training, with the goal of opening access roads to employment:school failure appears as a consequence of the failure of the education system itself and requires a reflection on its organization and direction.P2. Low quality and efficacy of career guidance causes a low level of interest in choosing a type of schooling or studies by young people. While planning their education, young people take into consideration the information from media, Internet, and their peers. In effect, 20% of students are not satisfied with the chosen secondary school (CBOS 2011). According to researches conducted among lower secondary school students (KOWEZIU 2012) about 30% of them took into consideration: convenient setting of the school (good transport connections); opinions of their peers, families or teachers. And only 20% of school students based their decisions upon current situation on the labor market.P4.Lack of a complex tool for careers diagnosis. On a current market there is no system that would enable making a complex diagnosis in an easy and quick way without the necessity of using a set of different psychological tests. The aim is to create a diagnostic tool that would consist of 8 multidimensional layers, combined in a one, consistent system. Thanks to using career tree, which makes the questioning more individualized, the examination administered with the use of the system will be quick, and will ensure reliability and accuracy of the results, at the same time. The main target group of the project are secondary and vocational school students (with their parents) as well as post high educations youngsters having problems with decision about the professional career. The students/youngsters and adults will follow different paths of their examination consisting of questions tailored to their age and life situation. The decision about “branch” of the career tree to be followed will be made on the basis of the answers given to introductory questions. It means that the choice of further questions as well as their form will follow from the introductory examination.PARTNERS NEEDS-Offering high level career guidance to youth-Possessing modern tool for career guidance-Increasing the level and quality of offered courses and education materials-Cooperating with partners possessing great expertise in career guidance and developing on-line<< Objectives >>The main aim of the project is to raise the quality of the process aimed to define capacities, aptitudes and professional interests of secondary/VET/high/post-high (youngsters till 26years) students and adults, and conducting career guidance and career planning through creation of a modern (standardized on a representative group) modular system for analysis, diagnosis and education guidance of career that would support the work of career counselors. The main reason for this project to be implemented is to integrate in the educational sector the option for students to learn about different jobs and fields and to assess their skills and abilities in order to make an informed decision about their future career. The goal of the project is to make available in Norway, Poland, Greece and Italy a free, online tool that can be accessed by any student/young that has an Internetconnection and that can help to underline their strengths. This kind of assessment is rarely present in the partner countries educational system, so the usefulness of such a tool would probably have impact both in higher educational institutions and in the labour market. If students have an informed opinion starting from high school about their strengths, weaknesses and what standards have to be met for specific jobs, their decision about university should be easier to be made and after finishing their studies, it would be easier for them to get a job in the field they studied for. The main result of the project will be online tool - for high school and post-high schools students/youngsters until 26 years old (especially those having problems with decision aboutthe professional career) as well as vocational advisors, psychologists, HR staff which will help to diagnose the profile of candidate. The tool will consist of at least 8 modules which will be updated, adapted to new partner's countries and translated into national languages.Online tool - combined with project website will be main source of all project outcomes, as it will help with:- project dissemination,- exploitation of the project's results- building the cooperation with schoolsThe main aim of the project is to raise the quality of the process aimed to define capacities, aptitudes and professional interests of secondary/VET/high/post-high (youngsters till 26 years) students and adults, and conducting career guidance and career planning through creation of a a modern (standardized on a representative group) modular system for analysis, diagnosis and education guidance of career that would support the work of career counselors. The system will consist of min 8 modules:1)professional interests2)structure and values3)personal capacities,4)temperamental aptitudes,5)cognitive6)interpersonal7)business and enterprise skills,8)possessed qualifications<< Implementation >>Consorcium will implement activites listed below:IO1.Model of predispositions and leading competencies for professionsIO2.Modular system for diagnosis, analysis and education guidance of career - elements/layers of online toolIO3.Graphical and technical design of the toolIO4.Methodical guidebook for career counselorIO5.Practical manual for teachers and vocational advisors - usability of the tool4 Transnational project meetings C1.TRAIN THE TRAINER: Training for vocational advisors - usability of the toolE1.The multiplier event pursues two main OBJECTIVES:a. Present all outputs and encourage stakeholders to use them.b.
