Another important issue is the growing paper consumption and excessive consumerism. During the project all learners analyzed situations in their countries and shared their experiences with other participants from partner countries. Project participants learned to produce handmade paper out of collected waste-paper and taught other members of community to do the same. We encouraged the learners to look back to the past. Using our ancestors’ wisdom, we learned to produce ecological dyes extracted from herbs and ground pigments. Ecological dyes were used in the process of handmade paper making. Afterwards, the handmade paper pulp was used to make greeting cards, Christmas and Easter decorations, books tags, interior decorations, Shrovetide masks etc. Our handmade showpieces were exhibited and sold in exhibitions and fairs. Moreover, we not only encouraged people to re-use paper and taught how to bring it back to life, but also inspired to use the knowledge of our ancestors. The whole process of producing handmade paper and ecological dyes was filmed. From all this material we created two films which will are available for all educators to use in their future seminars and training sessions. We also prepared methodologies which included handmade paper and natural dyes techniques and an album with all the showpieces made by the project participants.

""How people without specific skills can help young people with multiple problems, such as conduct disorder, delinquency, drug addiction, problems learning or mental health ?, at the same time addresses two priorities: improving ""Transparency and recognition of competences and qualifications to facilitate learning, employability and labor mobility"" and ""improving the results in relevant skills and high-level basic and cross from a lifelong learning perspective. ""The aim is to develop a model of accreditation of skills for professionals working in intervention programs with young offenders. Skills that help professionals to ensure that intervention with young people who are reluctant to change, marginal and highly complex, is rigorous and efficient, while improving employability and mobility of professionals in the European area.It is an innovative project because after an analysis of other experiences and projects, we have found that there are no solutions that address the challenge posed. By acting on the critical factor of the intervention with young offenders (professionals) defines, standardizes and accredits transversal competences and specific, is established as a powerful tool for performance evaluation, involving the main stakeholders processes intervention (professionals, young people, families, officers, judges, prosecutors, among others), is aligned with the priorities set in Recommendation CM / R (2008) 11 of the Committee of Ministers to member states on the European rules for juvenile offenders subject to sanctions or measures, and integrates scientific research in this area.EDUCERE provides the added value of cooperation between (public and private) organizations from 4 European countries (Spain, France, UK and Greece), such as ADIS MERIDIANS, ECTE, EALING COUNCIL, UMA, and ADSEA01. This will cover thedifferent regions of Europe, to analyze in detail the rules and requirements of each member state of the EU, and propose a model of accreditation with European validity for professionals working in intervention programs with young offenders, promoting greater mobility and greater employability in the European environment. Also collaboration between the consortium partners allow pay particular attention to the simplification and rationalization of existing EU instruments, as tools, portals and other services in capacity building and targeted qualifications to the general public in order to enhance its dissemination. The expected outputs are standardized competency model, which includes a performance evaluation methodology and training plans for professionals. A set of tools that allow professionals, but also to contracting entities (whether private, or administration) have the assurance that professionals meet the skills and capabilities necessary to ensure the quality of processes of intervention with young offenders, and improve their social integration. The direct impact of the project will involve more than 1200 people, either by direct participation in project activities, due to their participation in the activities of dissemination of results. However, we believe that an impact that can exceed more than 3,000 professionals reaching only 2 years after completion of the project, and through the continuation of outreach activities locally by the partners."

(DE), ECTE - European Center in Training for Employment (GR). The objective of Gardeniser pro was to create and test an innovative and European training path to support the professional development of a new figure, the one of Community Urban Gardens coordinator (garden-organizer = GARDENISER), that could strengthen soft and technical skills and experiment their validation through the ECVET system, in order to prepare the ground for the recognition of this innovative profile within the Education and Training Systems at regional and national level, increasing employability. In line with the priority initiative of the Europe 2020 ""strategy agenda for new skills and new jobs"", the profession of Gardeniser can be counted among the so-called ""green jobs"", finding in fact its natural collocation within this new and strategic working sector, high employment potential, which is called ‘green economy’. The main direct beneficiaries of Gardeniser pro were young people and adults involved in Community Urban Gardens, in both the public and private sectors, and who want to enrich or integrate the skills needed to play the role of Community Urban Gardens coordinator. Gardeniser pro has succeeded, through international cooperation between partners with diversified backgrounds and expertise in the field of education, urban gardens and vocational training, to build a transferable European format in VET field, thanks to the ECVET credit system, and the creation of a Gardeniser Licence that can be achieved through this path. The online platform GARDENISER.EU (IO4) has been created to connect the profiles of gardenisers who have obtained, or will obtain in the future, the licence and the network of national and international urban gardens, as a tool to facilitate the meeting between job supply and demand. It has been enriched by info sections addressed to diversified publics (from institutions to citizens), allowing gardenisers to have online references useful to give support to their personal branding. Additional services have been activated, targeted directly to community gardens (info-pages easy to update and translated automatically, geo-localized maps) and aimed to reinforce their action (toolbox and e-learning on good practices). The quality and homogeneity of the training format (IO2) and the related validation system (IO3) was ensured by an international training for trainers (C1) through which 2 trainers for each organisation have been trained and prepared (IO1) to transfer ad adapt Gardeniser pro course, previously studied and developed. Once the pool of European trainers was established, the Gardeniser pro training pathway at local level involved 24 trainers that delivered the TC to 101 aspirant gardenisers selected among the 214 candidates in all partner countries. An important part of the training path was an internship experience at local level and, for 8 of the participants of each organisation, at international level in the community gardens involved by the partner organisations. In this way participants could improve, through practice, specific and transversal skills and, for those who had the opportunity to go abroad, provided an opportunity for internationalization. The experimentation was also useful to build the conditions for a sustainable action even after the end of the project, thanks to the synergies built, in this specific professional field, between public and private actors. An example of this is the recognition of SF&G as a ""national training provider"" on the figure of the Gardeniser, initiated by the British Ministry of Education, and the start of the procedures to include the new professional figure in the repertoire in Italy, with the commitment of the Lazio Region to apply to the State-Regions Conference, being able to count on the support of the Region of Tuscany, actively involved in with the project ""100.000 community gardens in Tuscany"".Gardeniser pro managed to reach more than 30.000 people interested in the theme promoted by the project, to see 53 community urban gardens directly involved in the activities, among the 1.871 who followed it and who in turn disseminated information to 11.310 citizens (gardeners, active members and sympathizers)."

The initial YOU-ROPE's concept is based on the ROPE, Rites of Passage Experience Model implemented by The Center for Youth & Community, Inc. (USA), which given its theoretical contribution and constituted the basic reference for the youth community framework implemented within the project. The main aim of YOU-ROPE project have been to prevent youth problems through a more effective, integrated and coordinated approach to education and social inclusion, realised by implementing and adopting a shared model ""youth and community development through rites of passage"" and by integrating interventions during critical points of transition from childhood to adulthood.Participants n. 6 European organisations: Applicant Coordinator: CEPISS Coop. Soc. (IT); Partners: LabCom – Spin Off UNIFI (IT) Centro Machiavelli S.r.l. – Training Agency and EU Projects Dept – Florence (IT); ETCS Coop. Soc. – Barcelona (ES); ECTE - European Center in Training for Employment - Rethymno (GR); Associatia Psiterra (RO).The project involved mainly educators, youth workers and adolescents as direct target groups during the survey (IO1) and the test-run of the ROPEs Model. To achieve its main objectives, YOU-ROPE created and implemented two core Intellectual Outputs:- IO1 - Framework Survey that allowed to the consortium to collect important information about Rites of Passage in use in the partners' countries, and to develop effective guidelines for the model application, useful for organisations who intend to use this information in the future.- IO3 - Guidelines containing information and instructions for the youth workers/professionals interested in applying the ROPEs model in their working environment. The direct target group involved were youth workers and professionals, secondary schools for the extra-curricular activities, training centers, associations, municipalities especially with their youth policies, etc. All IOs have been realised involving these actors. They have been all addressed as recipients of the dissemination activities and some of them have been also involved during activities both as stakeholders and experts about the project topic. Thanks to the practical and active actions of the six official partners organisations and their associated partners within the local communities of the three involved countries (Italy, Greece, Romania and Spain), YOU-ROPE engaged several hundred participants among young people as part of powerful forces in mentoring the youngest adolescents toward the improvement of their awareness that they belong to a certain community, supporting in this way their social inclusion, giving a concrete contribution to the marginalisation prevention. This result can be considered the main impact that gave a real contribution to reduce the social withdrawal, allowing to all final beneficiaries involved to feel more recognised and integrated into their belonging communities. Thanks to these overall results, YOU-ROPE can be considered a successful project that tested a good practice, which could have good impact on the whole involved communities as long-term benefit, especially because it acted by transferring pathways to youth workers, teachers/trainers for promoting ""positive"" rites of passage practices, that can be surely adopted with good results by young generations."

Arising out of the recent Coronavirus pandemic there is firstly a need to provide direct education and training in relation to the promotion of positive mental health and well-being with a specific focus on three areas (1) handling stress (2) overcoming anxiety and (3) building resilience and well-being. Secondly there is a real need to ensure that the education and training is available both face-to-face and online. A Time to Breathe is a European wide two-year transnational partnership project that brings together 6 organisations who will create a sustainable partnership and share their expertise of using the arts to promote positive mental health and well-being with youth. The expertise will be shared in order to create a blue print or model of practice for a new Europe wide Creative Arts for Health and Well-Being hub (an online interactive platform and learning resource centre). The overall aim is to provide education, training and awareness-raising at national and European levels using creative processes to promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing with youth. This is done by creating a model or template for the establishment of the Europe-wide Creative Arts for Health and Well-Being hub for youth, that uses creativity to promote education, training and awareness raising in relation to positive mental health and emotional well-being at national and European levels.
