Scandinavian Journal of Disability Research is an international peer-reviewed journal aiming to disseminate innovative, high quality, social research on disability, which enables critical reflection on the position of people with disabilities in different societal contexts. The journal’s defining characteristic is a focus on the relationship between people with disabilities and their environments. It is multi-disciplinary in scope, incorporating research from a variety of perspectives - such as sociological, historical, cultural studies, health and social policy - which share a commitment to recognizing that disability is not a property of the individual person, but something shaped by social relations and structures. The journal was established by the Nordic Network on Disability Research (NNDR), an association who actively facilitate the sharing and dissemination of social research on disability in the five Nordic countries.

Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene is a trans-disciplinary, open-access journal committed to the facilitation of collaborative, peer-reviewed research. With the ultimate objective of accelerating scientific solutions to the challenges presented by this era of human impact, it is uniquely structured into six distinct knowledge domains, and gives authors the opportunity to publish in one or multiple domains, helping them to present their research and commentary to interested readers from disciplines related to their own.

The journal is at the crossroad of theoretical development and empirical examples related to learning resources, transformation processes, learning environments and digital resources. The subject areas covered include learning designs and resources, multimodal texts, didactic science and pedagogy. The journal accepts original articles and review articles after peer-review. This site is a multiple institution repository providing access to the theses, dissertations and other full-text publications from a number of Nordic universities. The Middle Atlantic Review of Latin American Studies is an interdisciplinary, peer reviewed, open access online journal focusing on the dissemination of scholarly work about Latin America and the Caribbean. The editors also welcome submissions focusing on relations among Latin American and Caribbean countries and with other states and regions of the world. MARLAS publishes research findings aimed at a multidisciplinary audience and invites submissions based on rigorous analysis from a variety of theoretical and methodological perspectives. The journal publishes scholarly articles, essays, research notes, book reviews, and periodic special issues examining specific topics in Latin American studies. MARLAS accepts submissions in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The Editorial Board asks prospective authors to examine carefully the guidelines for submissions. Previously published as Latin American Essays, a printed journal, since 1988, MARLAS represents a continuation of a 30-year tradition of high-quality scholarly contributions to the field of Latin American studies.
