The Lituanistika database contains research works from humanities and social sciences, which cover the development of the Lithuanian state, society, culture, nation and language. It contains scientific works published from 2000 and a thesis since 1991. At present, the database contains over 91 thousand scientific works (books and articles), about 64% of which are open access full-text. The interface is in English and Lithuanian, and there is an RSS feed on the search page.

**Datasets of opinion polls and surveys** are the largest and most frequently used collection of data by users from social science community. The largest part of this collection consists of data from surveys carried out by other scientists and researchers, which might be used by other users for their own **secondary analysis**. Launched in 2006 the LiDA Survey Data collection currently contains **more than 300 survey datasets** (not all datasets are available yet, as a migration project from the old infrastructure is underway for the period 2020-2024). The datasets are organised into **thematic collections** – sub-catalogues. Each survey dataset is described (documented) in **English** (see Metadata: Citation Metadata, Geospatial Metadata, Social Science and Humanities Metadata) and **Lithuanian** (see Metadata: Citation Metadata (LT), Geospatial Metadata (LT), Social Science and Humanities Metadata (LT)).

Lithuanian Data Archive for Social Sciences and Humanities (LiDA) is a virtual digital infrastructure for SSH data and research resources acquisition, long-term preservation and dissemination. It provides access to more than 600 data and research resources. All the data and research resources are documented in both Lithuanian and English according to international standards. Access to the resources is provided via this Dataverse repository (not all the resources are available, as in 2020-2024 a migration project from the old infrastructure is being implemented). LiDA curates different types of resources and they are published into catalogues according to the type: Survey Data, Aggregated Data (including Historical Statistics), Encoded Data (including News Media Studies), and Textual Data. Also, LiDA holds collections of social sciences and humanities data deposited by Lithuanian science and higher education institutions and Lithuanian state institutions (Data of Other Institutions). LiDA is hosted by the Centre for Data Analysis and Archiving (DAtA) of Kaunas University of Technology (data.ktu.edu).
