  • Studia z Polityki Publicznej / Public Policy Studies is a journal published since 2014. The editors publish academic texts focused on the issues of broadly understood public policy in its various dimensions. The main field of interest are articles on both the concept or theory of public policy and the issues of sectoral policies. The texts can also be focused on models and cycles in a selected policy (from problem diagnosis to solution evaluation); attitudes, values, motives of policy actors (e.g., the role of trust among stakeholders, ability to cooperate); methods for evaluating results in policies; indicators illustrating the results of public activities; mechanisms of resource allocation in public activity (market and its failures, state failure). The editors are also interested in sources influencing the shaping of public policies (e.g., intellectual, sociological and cultural sources, historical sources), sources of knowledge in selected policies (policy knowledge), knowledge brokers (expert networks), decision-making processes and policy styles (activities unilateral vs. partnerships, the anticipation of problems vs. reactivity), institutional factors that co-shape public policy (e.g., parties, parliamentary systems, public administration).

  • The Bollettino SIFET, ISSN 1721-971X, is the official publication of the Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography (SIFET). The goal of the journal is to disseminate results in the academic and professional fields and experiences in the field of Geomatics, providing a platform for constructive debate and confrontations between stakeholders. The journal is divided in four sections: Science, Profession, Education and Life. The Science section includes contributions with academic focus, intending new research results and innovative methods regarding Geomatic technologies and processes; in the Professional section the reader can find articles with reviews of state of the art applications of related technologies, which are of particular interest not only to academics but also to end-users in the professional field; the Educational section is devoted to reports of dissemination of innovation and state of the art in higher education and in other levels of education (e.g. technical degrees); the last section, Life, groups all communication regarding activites which do not fall clearly in the previous three sections, but have to do with Geomatics, such as events, dissemination activities, presentations.

  • The Middle Atlantic Review of Latin American Studies is an interdisciplinary, peer reviewed, open access online journal focusing on the dissemination of scholarly work about Latin America and the Caribbean. The editors also welcome submissions focusing on relations among Latin American and Caribbean countries and with other states and regions of the world. MARLAS publishes research findings aimed at a multidisciplinary audience and invites submissions based on rigorous analysis from a variety of theoretical and methodological perspectives. The journal publishes scholarly articles, essays, research notes, book reviews, and periodic special issues examining specific topics in Latin American studies. MARLAS accepts submissions in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The Editorial Board asks prospective authors to examine carefully the guidelines for submissions. Previously published as Latin American Essays, a printed journal, since 1988, MARLAS represents a continuation of a 30-year tradition of high-quality scholarly contributions to the field of Latin American studies.   • The Journal of Technology Studies (JOTS) publishes original manuscripts focused on the depth and breadth of technology and practiced and understood in the past, present, and future. The Journals seeks to provide up-to-date and insightful information to EPT members and to the wider public. Membership in EPT is not required from authors who wish to submit manuscripts considered for publication. In addition to manuscripts which address the various fields of technology, the Journal is interested in the following types of manuscripts: Applied research: studies and characterizations of innovations in applied engineering and technology practice, technology management and development, and technology education trends and practices Research: basic or empirical research on technology development, practice, or implementation, technology within society and its relationships to other disciplines, research and development in technology, and new and emerging technologies and the role of the discipline in shaping the future Pedagogical: Original, applied, or empirical research on trends and practices in K-12 and post-secondary education focused on applied engineering and technology Perspective: thoughtful reflections about technology practice or a sound literature review to provide an update on the state-of-the-art in a given field or to provide a synthesis of existing literature with the goal of justifying new implications or directions for the future Biographical portraits: Biographical sketches of leaders in technology - past, present, or future – highlighting contributions made in specific fields of applied engineering and technology and the impact and appreciation in society The target audience for the Journal in addition to EPT members includes applied engineering and technology management educators at the secondary and post-secondary level, technology students, graduates, and professionals working in business and industry, and other stakeholders interested in applied engineering and technology management issues.
