Open Access journal of the University of California Press. The initial launch will include three core fields of study: Life and Biomedical Sciences, Ecology and Environmental Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences. Over the next several years we plan to expand into disciplines across science, humanities, and other emerging and important areas of research and scholarship.

Marvell Studies publishes original essays, shorter articles, notes, and reviews with the purpose of advancing scholarship on Andrew Marvell and his milieu. The journal builds on more than half a decade of online commentary collected under the auspices of the Andrew Marvell Society. By founding a peer-reviewed journal in Marvell’s name, we are staking a claim to Marvell’s stature as a writer perhaps second only to Milton in his time, important as much to the history of liberty as the history of literature. In choosing open access, we honour the collaborative nature of Marvell studies and of the Marvell Society, which brings together scholars from around the globe – from the US and the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Japan – and facilitates intellectual exchange with increasing reach. MaHKUscript. Journal of Fine Art Research is a peer-reviewed international platform for artists, curators, theorists, research students and educators who consciously integrate research in their working practice. MaHKUscript focuses on the situation and position of research in the current Fine Art domain. Starting from the specificity of Fine Art practice it investigates the meaning of research for art, education, dissemination and the development of topical curatorial strategies.

Glocality is an open access Undergraduate Academic Journal, which offers a platform to college students around the world to publish their work and original research, exploring the relationship between local and global. We admit articles in the fields of Social Entrepreneurship, Civil Society, Urban Dynamics, and Health.

Buildings & Cities is an international, open access, peer-reviewed academic journal publishing high-quality research and analysis on the interplay between the different scales of the built environment: buildings, blocks, neighbourhoods, cities, building stocks and infrastructures. The journal focuses on built environment policy, practices and outcomes and the range of human development, economic, environmental, political, social and technological issues occurring over the full life cycle in urban, suburban and rural contexts. It provides a platform for insights that can help improve the built environment. Buildings & Cities aims to make research accessible and relevant to academics, policymakers, practitioners, clients, and occupants. The Journal of European Psychology Students (JEPS) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal for psychology students worldwide. JEPS is run by highly motivated European psychology students and has been publishing since 2009. By ensuring that authors are always provided with extensive feedback, JEPS gives psychology students the chance to gain experience in publishing and to improve their scientific skills. Furthermore, JEPS provides students with the opportunity to share their research and to take a first step toward a scientific career.

The Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies is fully peer reviewed and Open Access. It contains research on conservation science, artefact studies, restoration, museum studies, environment studies, collection management and curation. Published from the UCL Institute of Archaeology from 1996 to 2002, the journal was relaunched in 2011 in collaboration with the British Library, with a newly constituted international editorial board.

UCL Press offers the OJS hosting service for UCL students and staff to produce and manage their own Open Access journals. Using Open Journal Systems software, journal articles are stored in UCL Discovery, while OJS provides the visible presentation layer of the journal. This service is provided free of charge by UCL Press.

Health Psychology Bulletin is a disruptive open access journal that encourages full disclosure and explicitly welcomes both direct and conceptual replications, null findings, reports of failed manipulations, as well as empirical papers and reviews.

The Journal of Open Research Software (JORS) features peer reviewed Software Metapapers describing research software with high reuse potential. We are working with a number of specialist and institutional repositories to ensure that the associated software is professionally archived, preserved, and is openly available. Equally importantly, the software and the papers will be citable, and reuse will be tracked. JORS also publishes full-length research papers that cover different aspects of creating, maintaining and evaluating open source research software. The aim of the section is to promote the dissemination of best practice and experience related to the development and maintenance of reusable, sustainable research software.
