  • dbMHC provides access to HLA sequences, tools to support genetic testing of HLA loci, HLA allele and haplotype frequencies of over 90 populations worldwide, as well as clinical datasets on nematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and insulin dependant diabetes mellitus (IDDM), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Narcolepsy and Spondyloarthropathy. All clinical datasets housed at the dbMHC provide access to genotypic and phenotypic data on anonimyzed samples with aggregate query functions, and complete download capability.

  • Surface Radiation Budget Network Database (SURFRAD) supports climate research with accurate, continuous, long-term measurements of the surface radiation budget over the United States. Data are downloaded, quality controlled, and processed into daily files that are distributed in near real time. Observations from SURFRAD have been used for evaluating satellite-based estimates of surface radiation, and for validating hydrologic, weather prediction, and climate models.

  • The Biodiversity Literature Repository (BLR) is a research infrastructure (RI) comprising the BLR Community on Zenodo at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN), and services to search and retrieve the data (Ocellus, Zenodeo API, BLR website). BLR’s focus is on biodiversity data liberated from scholarly publications, and it uses custom metadata linking to external vocabularies covering the needs of the biodiversity community. This includes taxonomic treatment or figures as well as the deposit of the original article annotated with metadata describing the data contained in the articles itself, as well as related identifiers for figures and and treatments therein. The main data import is through TreatmentBank or via publishers such as Pensoft. With over 650,000 deposits, BLR is the single largest community in Zenodo. It’s data is widely reused, for example by the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). All data in BLR is published under the CC0 Public Domain Dedication, remaining free for anyone to use, anywhere, for any purpose. Note from the FAIRsharing team: we have classified the status of the resource as 'uncertain' because the content of the database is no longer accessible. We are making every effort to engage with the resource owners to understand if it is a temporary issue or if the resource is no longer active.

  • Drug Mechanism Database (DrugMechDB) compiles curated mechanism of action linking a drug to a disease. Most drug mechanisms are described simply as a protein target, or a pathway, that then treats the disease. However, there are usually more steps across a biological knowledge graph required to traverse from the target through its mechanism to the reduction of a disease. DrugMechDB catalog a subset of known drug-disease indications as a path through a network of biomedical entities.
